With the Abyss King a real threat still, everyone is doing their best to prepare for the end boss...however sometimes seems to have gone wrong.
Just as a note I do not mind some lewd artwork in manga but when Maybe seems to get in a rut and the story takes a dive their go to is plenty of scenes that although not hentai are just eye candy to fill up the pages until they can figure out what to do next with the story. With that said this book had plenty of development as the Ring King and his Brides have split into two forces to achieve goals they have set in mind whether to retrieve the sword of the last Ring King or to learn magic better. This volume is definitely an improvement over other recent volumes as the team sent to find the sword have returned to the spire to discover something has gone horribly wrong. Now we have to wait to see how dangerous things will get when you allow a little bit of jealousy to infuse your gift for magic. :)
