Rumors of Heine’s bloody connection to their father initially causes the princes’ trust in their tutor to waver. When the truth of how Heine came to be the royal tutor is fully brought to light, will the darkness of years past yield to a brighter future—together?
Light is shed on a shocking revelation for the young princes about Professor Heine and their father's past encounter. I adored the boys' reactions and their opinions on the matter. The heavy conversation leads to light-hearted chapters. One in which an interesting moment occurred concerning the king. The other in which we get to meet the boys's mother, Queen Titania, who is so sweet and adorable! I really like her character. Her and Viktor do seem to fit together quite nicely. The final chapter also had an interesting turn of events and brought new insights into the mysterious and aloof elder prince, Eins. A good volume, overall!
This volume actually answers questions, filling in more of Heine's back story and finally introducing the princes' mother. And it looks like the next volume may finally answer the big question: what's up with Eins? I'm still more invested in these characters than I ever expected to be, so I'm excited to possibly see some resolution.
I honestly can't remember if they've even mentioned the queen before this, hahaha. Also we are DEEP IN PLOT NOW, so it's less funny, but still so good.

FINALLY! Some answers! And not only that - THE QUEEN! She exists! I’m so glad we finally got her in the story (and that she’s a sweetheart and badass working woman), but did it really have to take this long to get here?!
I was going to give it a 4.5 for actually processing the story but truthfully, it really bothers me that we had no details, hints or the least bit of info on the queen or Heine’s past until everything at once here. It was almost too much all at once.
Heine’s past makes sense and it also explains why he’s so abrupt sometimes (and quite strong for how small he is too). I thought it’s a satisfying answer to his past.
I also am so glad we finally got details on Rosenberg and why he’s so committed to helping Eins but we still haven’t got any details on Eins himself and why the brothers can’t see him (not even from their own mom). That also bumped it down a little for me.
The volumes have been very inconsistent but this one was finally a good one after so long.
