For me the book progressed quickly, I mean it did start off with a bang literally. I liked Dylan and Gemma especially since they had a connection right off from the start.

I did feel like the story did have odd moments that seemed to be emotionally all over the place. Dylan, I would say, had emotional ADD and Gemma was just trying to keep her job and Dylan safe as well as on track. Not sure how it works in Hollywood or production companies, but I’m not sure picking an accountant to become a celebrity babysitter because they couldn’t find one, sounds wrong and maybe even professionally unethical.

I really wanted a little showdown with Gemma’s ex, Robb, and her crappy best friend, just so that Dylan could go all alpha again ;)

We learn why Dylan is so self destructive and it’s very tragic, I’m surprised with all his “friends” looking out for him, no one thought to get him to a therapist. For me, Gemma was a bit too easy going on Dylan especially when she doesn’t really put up a fight with crazy antics. I’m sorry but if a guy abandons me two times in random places with no way for me to get home, I’m kicking him in the man beans.

The ending was resolved and wrapped up quickly; but I would have liked to have known more about Dylan and his family. Did Gemma get in trouble for her revealed romance with Dylan? How did the press get over the big reveal on Dylan’s past?

Sweet story of redemption. Dylan is a famous actor who has sort of sullied his name with hard partying, lots of random women, and fighting. Gemma just broke up with her long-time boyfriend after he cheated on her. They connect using the BootyCall app. When Gemma shows up at Dylan's house, she's floored to realize who she had been talking with, but they have instant chemistry. It should have been just that night.

But Dylan has been given a career lifeline. A famous producer wants him for a movie, but there's a catch: he has to basically have a babysitter to make sure he's there when he's supposed to be and doesn't get into trouble in off hours. As fate would have it, Gemma is his babysitter. And Dylan does NOT make it easy on her even though he definitely has a soft spot for her. Unfortunately, his demons are stronger... at least until Gemma finds out what they are and forces him to face and banish them.

Sure, there was sex and lots of chemistry, but the underlying story was good as well. It was sweet to see them in the epilogue.

Great book, loved the story.

Not your typical erotica...it has a fantastic story! Dylan and Gemma are good together and for each other. This was my second book I've read by JD Hawkins and I'm ready for more..
