Omega Revealed

Beth

This workplace meeting just got hot.

Beth is in the middle of an important meeting at OAN Global Tech when her heat suppressants fail. She’s hidden her omega status for years only for them to stop working at the absolute worst possible time. When her Alpha boss takes her hostage it’s up to the head of security, Finn, and his beta lover and second-in-command, Holden, to defuse the situation.

The problem? She really likes the way they smell.

Both of them.

Finn & Holden

Their love was forged in fire, bloodshed, and tears.

After surviving their stint in the military and capture by the Theta-dev aliens both Finn and Holden have settled down into civilian life. In between alien attacks everything is great. They have each other, their friends, and their work at OAN, but then they answer a security alert and find more than they’d expected.

The woman they’re sent to rescue isn’t a beta like her file says. She’s an omega, and she’s in heat.

Beautiful, sweet, delicious Beth. She fits between them perfectly, all soft curves and fertile omega.

Is it possible to take something amazing and turn it into perfection?

I had just read another book by this author (Engineering Fate), which I really enjoyed so I decided to try out other books by them. This is....not a fave, but I'll tell you for why.

If I were to simply take this as the Avengers, in particular Captain America and Winter Soldier, reimagined into an MMF erotic romance, ok sure, it can work on that level. It's got alot of smutty sex, it's got borderline fairy tale elements. But that's only for about 50% of the book.

The first half is a depressing statement on the absolute lack of agency the FMC has, and the way she suffers because of a biological imperative that she has no control over. The worldbuilding is on an as needed basis, and this story really suffers from a lack of foundation. If you don't know the Avengers, you'll just be wondering what the heck is going on. There are many things that have no explanation, the physiological "dynamics" of each character acts almost as if they're shifters (they even talk about their Alpha/Omega/Beta tendencies in the third person), but that's about it. The physical descriptions and some tiny bits of backstory give an indication of who they are, but there is little character development beyond that.

So in the end, if I just shut off any expectations as to the story, the sex was plentiful. But the story is only ok at best. Which is a shame, I'd definitely recommend Engineering Fate. This? Not as much.

This book really upset me and I didn't expect that from a book with 50% of steamy scenes. No one even mentioned steamy scenes in their reviews! The book describes a world where an omega girl has no right other then spread her legs for the nearest Alpha. The book starts with the heat of the poor omega. Alpha Finn offers her "help" with her heat if she accepts his beta too. The poor girl get pregnant and I didn't expect that since they use condoms. Since everyone learn that she is an Omega without Alpha she lose her job and her apartment and she can't even abort without Alpha permission. Alpha Finn is a rude caveman and the steamy scenes are rude and animalistic but hot. The beta is insignificant. He is just another body in the bed and a hole for the alpha when the omega is not near. The omega is totally submissive. There no romance in this book, no courtship, no love. A poor omega was trying to be a woman in carrier but she ended following her instincts and submitting to the Alpha and being just a hole and babyoven.

A bit weird

This story was a bit weird and not very interesting.
The world building is incomplete and I don't really understand the interest to put alien in it🧐
I wasn't very excited with the guys. They're not always very gentle with Beth (the scene with the coffee for example) and their dominance is often over the top and a bit abusive.
The sex scene are repeatitive, always the same scenario, edge plays using as punition🙄
I don't feel a sweet and genuine connection here and it makes this book not sexy.

Are you interested in a (similar-but-legally-distinct) Avengers-Omegaverse crossover? Are you in it for the smut? Then this is your ticket, friend.

Not-Steve and Not-Bucky are in a preexisting relationship, and the FMC is a omega taking suppressants and posing as a beta. When her suppressants fail and she goes into heat, the two volunteer to get her through her heat. After the heat, there’s a misunderstanding and they’re separated for a couple of weeks before resuming a relationship.

There’s lots of sex, so if that’s your thing you’re in luck. I didn’t really like that basically Beth ended up stripped of all her independence and didn’t seem particularly broken up about it after a certain point. She just ended up as Susie Homemaker and that kind of rubbed me the wrong way. It’s not even a bad book, and I really enjoy some of the author’s other books. I haven’t seen anyone else mention how closely a lot of characters tracked with the Avengers, and honestly that might be a selling point, so there you go.

Beth is a hidden Omega that manifests unexpectedly and "needs" to be fucked, repeatedly. But by the Alpha that smells "right" of course. She ends up with an Alpha and his Beta.

The guys catch feels for her but she overhears that it was a mistake and runs. They don't realize why she ran and attempt to give her space.

The only realistic part was the fall-out of her life for now being outed as an Omega.

Became a little tired of the "slickness between her thighs" repeated phrase- yuck. I don't know, maybe that is a personal issue and she should go get that checked out?

The writing and editing was pretty clean in the ARC version of the manuscript, with only occasional typos. The world building was quite good, with the sci-fi elements and limitations and injustices faced by omegas in this society richly drawn. The characterization was good, with the heroine and two heroes being sympathetic characters. The development of the romantic relationship was sweet and organic. Where this novel really failed was in the plot. As in, there wasn't any. I am a reader that reads a lot of sci-fi and fantasy romance, including a lot of omegaverse. I enjoy the adventure, suspense, and political maneuvering that takes place in space opera and fantasy romances. I was so excited to read this novel because it was sci-fi omegaverse with superheroes because I expected a lot of adventure and epic battles. This novel did not fulfill the promise of the premise for me. Plotwise, this novel reminded me of a sweet and slow contemporary romance. For a reader like myself, that meant I was bored for large chunks of this novel. This novel contained medium angst and low stakes. I prefer high stakes in my romance novels, so I did not particularly enjoy it. This novel used the One-Night Stand Turns into Forever trope and the Mating Bond trope. The world building was four stars. The plot and pacing were one star. The characterization and development of the romantic relationship were four stars. I therefore gave this novel a combined rating of three stars. This novel had a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger, so that was a big plus. I recommend this story to romance novel readers who are mostly into novels about character and relationship development. I do not think I will read the next book by this author. I will not be buying myself a keeper copy of this novel.

Beth has had a hard life, and being an Omega means it could be a whole lot worse. She takes suppressants to keep the scent and desire away, goes to college and works in the accounting are of a large company. At the worst moment at work, in a meeting, the suppressant does not work and everything comes crashing down for her. Finn and Holden, two of the top soldiers, are closest when a building alarm sounds and they rush to the boardroom to find an alpha leaning over her in a corner, and she is sending fear scent out in a rush. They take hold of the situation and with her in heat for the next 5-6 days, they decide to help her and take her back to their place. The characters are fantastic and have great depth from their backstories and their current emotions and feelings. Stress hits around Beth, as this is pretty much her story, as she feels betrayed, fired from her job, evicted from her home and made to reassign as an omega. Suspense between the three as they try to find each other, the babies now involved in the decisions, relocating, dealing with battles and more. Loved the way they come together in so many ways, both romantically and supportively. Loved the story and all the action of the family and the team interacting off each other. Fellow soldiers and friends support them all. Could not put this book down. The ending is worth a lot of smiles as it all comes together.

This is an excellent first book by Alexis B Osborne.

Beth is revealed as an Omega during a meeting at work, and her whole life changes as a result. After being seen through her heat by an alpha and his beta lover, she tries to pull together the pieces of her life, not realising the two males have other plans for her.

This is a sweet omega story, so no alphaholes, though that doesn't mean the alpha isn't an alpha.

I don't usually like omega romances, never see much in the way of romance in them. But I genuinely enjoyed this story.

This story had me riveted for hours. I couldn't put it down. Beth, Holden and Ben are beautiful. Beth has a big issue when her heat suppressants fail and she goes into heat. The help she gets from her two alpha males is the stuff I dream about. I'll definitely be on the lookout for more books by Alexis

This book bragged about consent. First, I take that with a grain of salt, because, ABO. Hormones tend to rule over brain cells, but I took the author at their word. I won't make that mistake again. I've only read 2 authors in this genre that don't leave readers wanting a shower and mind bleach. Anyway, the poor woman's suppressants wear off, unexpectedly, which I'll talk about that in a minute. But, then she's removed from one alpha's grip and thrown into another's. He at least asked if she'd rather go to a shelter for protection until her hormones settled. She said no, and agreed to go home with him and his beta. And I was ok with everything up till then because they were being respectful, aside from what I'm sure was supposed to be "naughty talk". But they weren't just pinning her and taking away her chance to say no in case she changed her mind. It was when she woke up to the beta taking advantage of her sleep that I had problems. That's something you do with an established lover who's given consent to be woken up that way. Pouncing during sleep takes away someone's no. But then she literally kicks him to try to get him off her and he says, "no, I earned this"? TF?? How the heck is that considered consent? That was the 20% mark and I quit then and there. DO NOT claim that is consent. I don't care what her hormones say when a woman tries to kick you out of body, you stop. Do not continue. Do not override her no because you aren't finished. Do not claim you earned the right to her body. F- all that noise. That's rape. And I will call that crap out when I see it. Consent? Nightmare fuel is more like it.
As for the suppressants, why was she forced to get them from the black market? Why did she feel forced to hide her dynamic? If omega shelters are a thing, why can't they provide suppressants? There was absolutely no world building before the rape scene and I refuse to read any more. I don't want to know that badly.

Beth is an Omega. It has been taking suppressants to keep her heat away. One day she is in an important meeting when her heat hits. Suddenly her life changes. Her Alpha boss grabs her and pins her into a corner. Then Finn and Holden come to save her. Finn is an Alpha and he smells her heat and suddenly he smells her and knows she is the right fit for him and Holden. While helping Beth through her heat, Finn gives her the claiming bite. Then let’s her go. Beth is cast adrift because she can no longer work as a Beta that she has been parading as. Beth’s life becomes more complicated she’s losing her house has no job and now she’s fine she’s pregnant what is she going to do? There’s only one way to find out what happens with Beth, and that is to read the book and go on her journey with her.

This is a sweet and steamy MMF omegaverse romance. Based on the description that talked about Finn and Holden being held captive by aliens and periodic alien attacks, I thought there would be more action. But that's not really a part of this story. This book is more focused on how Beth and the guys meet, and their relationship. That was okay with me. I like action and adventure, but I like a good romance, too, and this one is hot and steamy. But you should be aware if you are looking for more of a space adventure, you may be disappointed. If you are looking for a passionate romance, with some drama and angst, then you are in the right place. I enjoyed reading as Finn, Holden, and Beth come together to form a family.

The unthinkable happens when her heat suppressants do not work. She is grabbed by an alpha because of the heat. When saved by Finn and Holden, they must help her through her heat. She is claimed by her world keeps spinning out of control. She finds that she is pregnant with no job. Beth, Finn and Holden have many obstacles to overcome to get to their happy future. I enjoyed the characters and the writing in this book. I look forward to the next book in the series

When Finn saves Beth after her heat suppressants fail and reveals her Omega status, his Alpha instincts go into overdrive. Finn & his beta, Holden, help Beth through her heat as they spend many passion filled days going to the heights of ecstasy. Things do not go well when Finn activates the mating bond & Finn with Holden will have to work hard to catch their Omega after she runs. Beth is in love with them both & after Finn’s heartfelt plea when they capture her, she can’t imagine life without them. Finn & Holden can’t resist their sensual Omega & there are many surprises in-store for this new family as they build their new life together.

I was fine with the not-even-vaguely-disguised Stucky sci-fi ABO AU crack fic. It was hilarious for a bit. Even the Mary Sue omega.

So yeah. We’re done here

Read this at the reccomendation of the author on my fyp on tiktok. You really do find the darndest things on that app.
Not first foray into the omegaverse but this is my first taste into not-fanfiction omegaverse. In saying that, it was a pretty gentle transition considering the fandoms I've read from in the past (say around 2012-3).
I have no complaints about the writing, I think the author did such a good job of managing the smut and the story. I found the world engaging and I loved the sass.

I KNOW A CAPTAIN AMERICA x WINTER SOLDIER x READER FANFIC WHEN I SEE ONE!

Finn, a sickly blonde boy grown up with his best friend to become a super soldier, and is now part of a team who fight against aliens. (STEVE ROGERS WHO)
Holden, a chamring dark brown haired ladies man who grew up with his best friend and joined an alien war only to become kidnapped by the enemy pumped into a super soldier with a metal arm. Loves to call our fmc Doll. (BUCKY BOY)

I love Steve and bucky fanfics especially when they fall deeply in love, add an fmc who is a pin up dream and it's great.

Want some drama? It’s got it
Misunderstandings? Check
Connection to the readers? Definitely
Equal triad relationship, where everyone gets their m/f or m/m alone time together and m/f/m together? Yes, it’s one of a few I’ve read where it’s and equal partnership when messes are straightened up and worked out.
It was so good the I read this in literately 8hrs nonstop from midnight to 8 am, wayyy past my bedtime.

One to read for breeder readers.

I enjoyed this book. It is a sci-fi sweet verse MMF omgaverse.

If you are looking for a sweet story with an early on pregnancy, pack formation, with all things pregnancy this is a good story.

Not much to plot but I am glad there isn’t. It’s just a good low angst, low anxiety read. Heart warming.

I recommend for those that want a whole pregnancy and pampered omega.

I love sci-fi,
I love MMF, especially when it has MM interaction.
So this should have been a 5*er for me, unfortunately it didn't live up to what I'd hoped for.
I would have liked more about these aliens and why they were invading.
I would have liked more of these MCs getting to know each other instead of just f*cking.
I would have liked more variation in their f*cking. It felt like the same sex scene repeated over and over.
What I did get, I enjoyed though. I just would have liked more.

This is the story of Beth, Finn and Holden. When these two answer a security alert to rescue a beta who has been kidnapped by her boss they rush over. I liked the relationship between the characters. The story focused on them rather than creating a story full of depth and detail. I enjoyed reading this book but hope that the storyline will be more imaginative in the future - creating a world around them which is as fun to explore as is their relationship.

Absolutely AWESOME😁

Super sexy, Super sweet, Super awesome characters 😃. This story isn't a simple love storyline and I'm hoping that the characters that are in this book are made into other books, cuz there's so many wonderful characters 😍. Thanks so much Alexis, I'm looking forward to reading more as soon as you write them 😉.

I’m so sorry but that was a sci-fi omegaverse Bucky and Steve fanfic cause WHAT?! 😭💀

I could not take it seriously. Other than that Avengers parody, the relationship was all sex, no actual relationship and the mc was done dirty.

Also the very random couple of POV’s from side characters? Threw me off.

Does this book have lots of issues, particularly related to the way it portrays gender essentialism and the autonomy of women? Absolutely.
Do I wish there was more actual romance and wooing? 100%
Did I like the pregnancy trope? Nope.
Is it Stucky fanficiton with lots and lots of fluid and dirty talk filled sex and did it bring me great joy? YOU BET YOUR ASS.

So after awhile I realized this was barely concealed Bucky and Captain America fanfiction. Which is fine! I just wish I had not been bamboozled into it.

I would actually not mind more information on the world building... can't believe I actually said that! Oh also there was weird breeding stuff... which I also didn't mind. I think this book broke me.

If you like books that are all sex with very little anything else, then this book is probably for you.

It wasn't bad. It had it's moments. I just wished there'd been more moments. And maybe fewer needless repetitions (or echoes, in writer lingo) in the copious number of sex scenes.

I definitely like Alexis B Osborne's other books more.
