After defeating his enemies in a glorious battle, Bradley was awarded by General Fluxi himself. His name spread throughout Arcana, reaching even the doors of those residing safely in the Capital of the Nine Nations. With such a grandiose display, the Dark Races quickly unveiled just who their nemesis was, and they wanted vengeance. Now stationed in the grueling deserts of Arcana, Bradley must fend off against the Dark Races, all while watching for an abrupt attack from behind. How will he survive his dire straits?
For one, there is no tower in this book. Only 1 or2 chapters has skills or leveling. The first 4 chapter is mainly monologue. 90 percent of the book is talking and not doing anything. Felt like a small setup book.
Good title. I enjoyed whole book. My only grip is that first half of the book was little bit scatterbrained and focused on things that didn;t really affected MC in long way. Preparing his soldiers for war could have been shorter (for ex. when MC given order to cut short bullying in army. it was interesting but took too much time)
Bradley supposedly enters the army because of his weakness in military tactics and is somehow a natural genius at it. Snooze. Its like reading an arrogant man's diary.
This should not have been published yet. It's riddled with spelling and syntax errors, no character progression, and practically no plot. Nothing really happens in this book and the plot is not progressed in any meaningful way. This wasn't a tower climbing or rebirth book at all, it was just about a single skirmish from a military perspective. I wish there was something better to say, but it just didn't have any of the elements that make an effective story.
Very little of the things I like in LitRPG books. I guess that would make this more of a GameLit one. No real stats or character progression were mentioned until I was 75% through the book.
Where’s the vampire/nephilim/sun mage gritty details? So many cool aspects of this character, none of which get fleshed out. The book mostly focuses on him as a general.
Way too short. One of the things I hate the most. This made novellas look long lol. Read it in one evening.
I enjoyed the story for what it is, a simple entertaining read. I do hope that the future books will have some actual character growth. As it stands now the MC seems flat and one sided. While, there are a few moments of introspection and what looks like change, they were quickly cast aside and the MC become a single note again. Even the side characters are pretty one dimensional. But again, I enjoyed it the story for what it is.
The editing in this series has never really been up to snuff but this one felt more sloppy than the previous 2. Also there wasn't really anything to drive the plot only a small battle and a bunch of filler. The story wasn't garbage ie a 1 star but it wasn't a masterwork at 5 stars. I look forward to book 4 and I hope it is better than this one.
This was a good addition to the series. I'm hoping there's more. Things have progressed well in this book though Things Are at some points, a bit slower but that is to be expected when writing a series if you don't want to skip too much. Definitely eager to see what happens next.
I've just come into contact recently with Tristan work. I love the story arcs he portrays. While it feels a little rushed i can appreciate the quickness the stories are published. Waiting for months on end for the next installment frankly sucks and I'll gladly take a lil rushed with good writing. Thanks for your hard work and keep them coming.
The author continues his work while the are some grammar issues it does not take anything away from the story and I look forward to the next installment of the saga.
The story was good but slow in building. The MC is building his army but had little overall progression until the end. The story didn’t progress as much but still an enjoyable read.
Enough character progression and som class changes I didn’t see coming. I’m really interested to see how the vampires turns out and what happens with the new military developments.
While a bit brief in length the story is actually nice, showing Bradley to develop and love h towards his goals, my only improvement would be the need to incorporate his vampirism into the story a bit more.
A good continuation of the series. But very short compared to previous books in this series. Focused on one area, it is setting up the events for the future series
Not bad really enjoying the series. This book seemed a little off from the others. Lost attention a bit but love the story and system looking forward to more !
