It was quite a nice surprise when Delaney announced that Juniper would get a sequel. Once upon a time I would have said that Juniper is the weirdest and most bizarre (and still amazing) book Delaney has written, but she has written a few more since then who were really even more weird and more bizarre, so I can't say that anymore. However, when I got my arc for this book I was quite curious what was waiting for our heroes.
In every way possible this is a typical Delaney book. Which means that at least half of the time you're wondering what the hell is actually happening and if this is really happening. It also means that you're giggling and laughing, because all those situations are just too bizarre and hilarious. And it also means that you're always curious to turn the page, unsure what's waiting for you on the next page and if Delaney is really gonna try to do more bizarre things.
However, in very typical Delaney style, in between all the madness and strangeness and laughing Delaney hides some emotional and quite touching moments between characters. Those moments are not just a calm in the storm, but they also tell us a lot about our characters, their struggles and personalities. I, as someone who prefers character development over plot, needed those moments. I think I might have ended up enjoying this book less if they had not been there.
I especially need them to prevent those characters from becoming carbon stereotypes. Of course, they are all a little weird and out of this world, and it's quite funny that Shakespeare is trying to write modern sitcoms and that our pirate is dreaming of traveling the seas again and that we have a vampire who has come back from the dead afraid to face his parents, but luckily in the emotional scenes we see they're a little more than just stereotypes.
I'm quite curious to see how the story continues in the next installment!
Looks like I’ve found the limit of humour I enjoy. Lately I’m finding the authors I previously enjoyed, go from funny to completely bonkers. The whole book was pretty much one big joke, tossed in with a best friend argument and family issues. I wanted to DNF but kept going because usually by the end they start to become enjoyable. This one ends on a cliffhanger. So my reaction when I finished the book was pretty much wtf. I do like the other character appearances though. Sapphire just going with it and rob panicking. Just a bit too much for me. I will probably read the next one to see how things get fixed.

Our favorite Dildo queen(s) are back and funnier than ever. Between Ramrod returning, Juniper's toys going haywire, and another familiar face from Juniper's past returning, there's never a dull day in Silver Springs. Not to mention there's a cliffhanger!! That means we are blessed with more wild, crazy adventures happening at the Magical Rooster.
I received an ARC and voluntarily gave my honest opinion and review
“Dicks called to other dicks apparently. Made sense. Dicks in the terrible human sense congregated, so free-range penises would too.”
Wildly enough, Eva made me fall for her special toy shifters in Juniper’s first book, but never in my life did I imagine that I would feel devastated, heartbroken, and find myself tearing up about her creations having to be destroyed. That’s how talented this author is. This book was filled with humor, danger, and dildos gone rogue. I liked that we got to see more of Juniper’s emotional side, Sammy’s past, more about Oscar, and overall how they were adjusting to modern day life. Sammy is still my favorite out of her guys, with Shakes and Oscar tied now after starting to understand Oscar a little more. I’m really hoping that just maybe Alyssa could be added to Juniper’s harem? Maybe that’s just wishful thinking though. I loved the cameos, especially the ones with Eirwen, Rob, Eneeka, Storm, Evanora, Sapphire, and Bob. I honestly don’t know how Eva comes up with all of this crazy shit and always finds new ways to surprise me. I would say that I think it’s best to read Juniper’s first book, along with both of Sapphire’s books before you dive into this one. I haven’t read Sapphire’s second book prior to reading this and I was a little lost on one character and their role/ place in Silver Springs. This was the first time Eva left us with a cliffhanger and needless to say, I need to know what happens next!
So...this was a ride. First of all, I didn't realize that this was the second book in a series (the numbering on goodreads is confusing). I picked this up and was fairly confused right away.
Despite the confusion, this was a really fun read. I thought this would be a short nonsense erotica that was maybe 17 pages. I mean, the book has DILDO shifters for crying out loud. But this is not a short nothing joke of a book. This is a whole ass novel of over 200 pages. There's a bunch of world-building. The magic system actually makes sense. The author came up with a ridiculous premise, but then she took executing it seriously, and I always appreciate that.
Basically, this is a reverse harem inanimate object shifter rom-com with a dildo witch as the FMC and 3 MMCs who used to be dead, but Juniper resurrected them into dildo shifters. They (for reasons I'm not entirely clear on) have to be dildo shifters and tied to her magic in order to stay in corporeal form and not become ghosts again.
These 3 ghost men turned dildo shifters include: -A vampire shy blushing femboy named Oscar -A crass pansexual pirate named Sammy -William Shakespeare
.......Do with that information what you will.
There was only one sex scene in this 200+ page book and it was the weirdest sex scene I've ever read. They banged in the air because the couch was too small. She started out sixty-nining with Shakespeare, then the vampire and the pirate showed up and it became a whole cunnilingus anal orgy foursome.
For a book about dildo shifters though, there was a lot less sex than I'd expected. For most of the book, they can't have sex because Juniper's magic ends up cursed. Since her men are tied to her magic and dildo shifters and all, every time they get an erection, their cock and balls go flying off their bodies. This resulted in a number of hilarious scenes, including the pirates cock and balls singing acapella, a bunch of feral cats chasing the runaway genitals, and Shakespeare's cock writing a play while instructing the balls to perform the play and kiss.
Alright, well this is obviously a very stupid book. But it was stupid in the best way. It was thoroughly entertaining without being too 'try hard.'
I really liked the comical and solid characters. The dialogue was funny. The situational comedy was super slapstick and right up my alley.
I gave it four stars instead of five, because the book has a terrible case of "floating heads." I lost track of where they were so many times. No setting descriptions. Not much action breaking up the dialogue. Other than that, a really fun and silly book.
Juniper and her guys are back for another crazy adventure were dick slaps and toy taxi are a norm around the town in silver springs. I found it totally funny as always and only Eva Delaney could come up with all this craziness that's going on around town. I loved the antics of Junipers guys were Sammy had his heart set on saling sea's down main street and setting of canons while Shakes is determined in writing his number one drama and calling Juniper his lovely tomatoe. Oscar is so adorable when it comes to Juniper and still has a tendency to blushes alot. I loved the chaos that was so totally bonkers and as juniper and her guy plus old enemies face Ram things seem to get more bizarre as the event unfold and boy dose she get the shock of her life in the Devils pit which was totally hilarious and i never saw it coming and eva how could you finish it like this as I really need to know what happens next!!!.
A completely barmy and an utterly bonkers read. I literally couldnt breathe i was laughing so much!! Which is the norm with all the Silver Springs Library books but this one is just way more funnier. I dont think ive read a book with more genitalia references, jokes and comments about that than there is in this book, lol. Omg the sex toys?? Im still laughing at those parts now whilst writing this review. Juniper and her guys (Sammy, Oscar and Shakes) are caught the middle of a revenge plot. I have no words for how good this was and the cliffhanger ending drove me mad! It was a brilliant read though and im looking forward to the next book
Alls going to hell for Juniper in her men, and laughter definitely ensues with what's about to happen. Her dildos have gone crazy, but it's not the only thing and Juniper will do everything in her power to save her men and even the townsfolk from what is about to happen. I've also never seen a certain part of a man's body called so many wonderfully colourful names before.
You get to learn so much more about Juniper and her men, Sammy, Shakes and Oscar in this book and it was great to find out more about some of their history.
Brilliant read, with an excellent cliffhanger ending that sets you up ready for whatever is going to come next.
I could not stop laughing throughout this whole read. Poor Juniper finds herself in the middle of a curse and a whole heap of trouble, it’s cray cray, it’s exciting, it’s hilarious, it’s chaotic and there are touching moments but best of all I smiled the whole way through! Such a great read if you are having a crappy day! Just brilliant!
Juniper's back, along with her unusual group of mates and friends! Her past is coming back to haunt her and causing everything to go haywire! While you feel sorry for the situations, they're in, the descriptions of them are hilarious. Unusually for Siler Springs, we're left on a cliffhanger, too. Can't wait to see how it all gets resolved.
This book was soo much fun to read. I laughed at all the hilarious jokes a d the wonky dildoes. Juniper is one of my favorite characters and her mates are hilarious. Definitely a must read.
** WARNING: Do not eat, drink, or operate any machinery or sharp objects while reading this book! Product will cause extreme hilarity and a possible choking and/or spasms of laughter hazard. ** ** WARNING: If you know the song "Jennifer Juniper" by Donovan, this song will be stuck in your head for an indeterminate length of time. ** ** CLIFFHANGER WARNING! **
Oh my B.O.B.! I LOVE this book. This second part of Juniper's series is a crazy good time! There's more of the whirlwind adventure with a HILARIOUS main character, unique magic, and tons of splooshy sexiness. Juniper, Oscar, Capt. Sammy, and Shakes are dealing with all kinds of malfunctioning products from The Magical Rooster, as well as Juniper's evil brother, her frenemy, and her dead-beat dad. Things get out of hand (and off the body) pretty quickly, and soon the whole town is under attack.
PANDILDONIUM!!!
Even while I was picturing the detached and self-propelled manly disco-sticks, the joy-toy attacks, and giant B.O.B. taxis, I fell in love even more with June, Sammy, Oscar, and Shakes. I like how the group managed to get even closer during all the madness. The Shakespearean language, pirate jargon, and Juniper's unique style all made my word-nerd heart happy. I love how the journey, misadventures, battles, and the characters are still ridiculously sublime.
Juniper and her men are back in Dildoomed. So as you know she previously battled with her brother and beat him. Now there is some shady stuff going on in Silver Springs. Let me just say that this book is packed with a lot of hilarious moments. We also get emotional moments too. We delve in deeper with Junipers family relationships. Also we still need to decide what status Alyssa is. I mean is she friend or enemy. Then while we are trying to find out who is causing all the weird things going on, Juniper's magic goes wonky. Can she get her magic back? She feels lost with out it. Then we are left with a cliffy and now we wait for the conclusion. If you need a pick me up and good laughs then you definitely need to read this.
Eva Delaney adds another Juniper story to the Spell Library series.
If you enjoy right in your face characters, that have no filter and SHARE every sexual thought, then you have found your happy place with Juniper and her mates!
No thought is too crass and no comment is too snarky, with this PNR RH. You not only get what you see…you get so much more.
Juniper finds herself in a bit of a pickle, and goes looking for the reason that her shop, of all things unmentionable-lol, is being targeted.
This is a robust story for not-faint-of-heart readers, but for those who find pleasure in the sexual absurdity of a reverse harem of cocky characters! lol
Yay Juniper and guys are back for another epic crazy adventure. When I tell you that this was a freaking hilarious read is a under statement. I laugh so much that I couldn't breathe. Which is typical when you read any of the books from Silver Springs but Juniper is on a whole other level. If your looking for a quick read that's going to have you howling with laughter I totally recommend that you one click this book believe me you won't regret it. As always my reviews are totally voluntarily and no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are my own.
The author definitely has a talent describing and creating some of the craziest things. If you are looking for a hysterical book to curl up with, look no further. If you do read it, I would advise not doing it around anyone sleeping. If you read the first book, you should be familiar with the type of insanity to expect, if you didn't then I would suggest reading that one first. You don't have to but you really should. Both books have given me visuals in my head that shall live on whenever I think of this author/character
Lmao the dildo's have all gone crazy, her mens junk fly and Juniper is about ready to pull out her hair trying to fix it all and all without her men or herself dying, a fun fast paced book , I SIMPLY ADORE Silver Springs and the adventures the residents have, this book has delivered once again, when I am reading and I laugh my husband doesn't ask anymore , he says I have scared his psyche because I read snippets out to him which just makes me laugh more. 🥰🥰
So, in typical silver springs fashion, things are getting real. Juniper finds herself once again at the possibility of being in the middle of a battle, but everything goes wrong when something starts going horribly wrong with her magical merch. And in her store is only the beginning. So much chaos, so much crazy, and not enough time to sort everything out. Add some heartfelt moments, some hysterical banter, and BOOM. yet another amazing book. I’m eager for the next one.
This is yet another amazing book in Silver Springs library. It's about Juniper, who owns the dildo shop. I love the quirky Juniper and her guys. It is bizarre but so much fun to read. Fits of laughter are guaranteed in this. Traveling to a world where anything is possible is this for sure. There are still great moments between Juniper and Sammy, Shakes and Oscar. A job well done in making me laugh and it's a feel good feeling I got from this one.
I’m not sure I can type this review with all my laughter. Poor Juniper’s life is totally upside down. Something is causing her magic to malfunction. Spells she set in motion years ago are now acting up. How can she rectify this problem when even her most beloved toys have gone wayward?
The constant laughter combined with thrills and all kinds of action brings readers back to Silver Springs with a blast.
Juniper: Dildoomed by Eva Delaney is the twenty-first book in the Spell Library series. What can I say 21 books and this series still manages to deliver. Eva manages to bring back one of our favorites and her wild and sexy mates. Oh, and there's the thing with her 'toy' store being targeted. Even with all of that, the characters are still funny, quirky, engaging and yes even a touch bizarre at times, but I for one love this group!!! It's a definite must read in the series!!!
A funny and sad at times romance filled insane magic. Juniper may do dark magic, but that doesn’t mean she is bad. If anything, Juniper loves to see people happy. Especially with her magical adult toys she sells. But this story seems to explode with unexpected magic. Bad guys causing even more problems. Nothing seems to be going right for her. But she will always have her three men and the insanity they cause too.
This book is hysterical!! The nonsense that happens is so silver springs!! Mates with flying roosters and poor Jupiter's magic going haywire doesn't spell well for silver springs. Juniper's mates are so funny!!! The pirate, bard and sweet vampire just add so much to this story! I throughly enjoyed this fabulous story and all its fun and games. Can't wait to see what happens in the rest of this story!!
What can go wrong with flying phallic symbols, an irate and irrated ex best friend, and a revenge filled sibling. Poor Juniper finally thinks she's got her life settling in to a routine. But when her magic dildo shop seems to be boobytrapped and her business becomes threatened, the truth comes out. And despite her mates and friends helping her, she may have to ask for more help than she's neutrally prepared for.
Juniper is back and crazy things are happening. Someone is causing all sorts of problems for Juniper, her mates, friends and Silver Springs.
I had many LOL moments and was super surprised at the different names there are for the family jewels. Even with the tenser parts her witty banter was welcome. As usual the book gave me the feels and I can't get enough. It does in a cliff hanger but not in a bad way, it just makes me want the next one now.
This book i dont even know where to begin on where an what is funny. I’m just going to say i laughed so hard i fell out of my chair and it was worth it because this book was epic? If you haven’t read junipers first book go do that asap because this is way to funny not to share with everyone i know. I love this so much i actually want to buy the paperback when its possible.
This writer never disappoints. This book is part 1 to the story after Juniper gets together with her guys. Basically, in this a curse goes wrong and Juniper with her guys will try to correct it. Meanwhile, it's a chaos everywhere. Juniper is a strong character and her struggles are relatable. The three men in the story have their own issues as well. So, we wait to see if they can all get past this.
This book kept me laughing from beginning to end and their was no putting it down. It moves along at a really great pace. Has characters that you will love and will keep you laughing from beginning to end and a story that will not disappoint you. This book is a must read and has to be on your TBR list, no doubt about it.
Awesome book. So hilarious and full of witty charm. Juniper is truly one of my favorite characters ever. Her men are so sweet and funny even though they’re not trying to be- it just makes it funnier and sweeter. The action is plentiful and interesting. You just can’t stop turning pages. My only complaint is it ended to soon. I can’t wait to read the next one. Great reading. Definitely recommend.
Absolutely Hilarious! Juniper and her mates are so much fun. This has been a action packed , sexy story. My sides hurt so much from laughing. I would love to have my own Big Blue. I will definitely be reading more about Juniper and her sexy mates. Thank you, Eva Delaney, you have given me so much laughter and enjoyment.
