Love Me, Daddy

Rate this book
Will their pasts stop them from striving for a future?

Being homeless makes finding a safe Daddy experience difficult, which is confirmed when Nathan is almost knocked out after calling out the word during a liaison. When Loren steps in to aid him, Nathan is ready to let the strong man take charge. But he won’t ask for what he really needs, not when the reaction could be so extreme.

With many failed relationships in his past, Loren yearns for the perfect boy to cherish, but it’s a fantasy in more ways than one as far as he can tell. Nathan’s vulnerability calls to his protective instincts, but he refuses to cross the line. And then he finds Nathan’s need of him is very real.
When Loren assumes control, it centres them both but as they explore their way through this new dynamic, Nathan needs to learn if he’s going to be Daddy’s good boy or Daddy’s little brat.

Elouise East writes sweet and steamy connections in gay romance. She also touches on taboo stories under the name Elouise R East.

Books that tell the stories where friendship and family are the focal point - be it blood family or chosen - are very important to her. That’s why she includes a variety of personalities, talents, ages, situations and abilities as she believes a story or character needs. She wants her characters to be real, to be relatable, to be free to have whatever views they tell her they have. And trust her, most of the time, she does not have any say in the matter!

Her characters come to life on the page for her as well as her readers. Their stories unfold in front of her as she writes, and she has very little input into how they want to be shown. Just like real life, the lives of her characters change with every choice, every interaction and every conversation. And she wouldn’t have it any other way.

She writes books that are emotionally realistic, even if liberties are taken with other aspects of the stories. She doesn’t know any other way to write. It comes from deep inside.

Who is she? A single parent to two children living in the UK. An avid reader who still tries to devour every book she can get her hands on. A student of learning about any subject that takes her fancy. An author of books she would read herself. And a romantic at heart who loves anything cheesy.

Who’s joining her on her journey?

After my previous DDlg book and not hearing a lot of good things about DDlb stories in general. I came into this with a lot of trepidation.

And I’m stoked to say that I was more than pleasantly surprised. This is a new author I will happily add to this trope because it was practically perfect.

The slow build between these two men was breathtaking. So much care and authenticity was built into the storyline.

I enjoyed that Nathaniel came from the lowest of lows, aimless in his existence because no matter what he did he couldn’t get a leg up.

Then you have his counterpart in Loren. He’s totally put together, in fact a bit too buttoned up. But he’s missing that love and affection but mostly someone to take care of.

In a matter of being in the right place, at the right time our two meet in no doubt the worst circumstances. But it was a catalyst that eventually led to everything both of them needed.

Did I mention the steam? Oh I didn’t? That’s funny because that was the best part. Holy smokes, these guys burned up the sheets. The perfect Daddy and his little boy.

⭐️ 4/5 🌶 2/5

Love Me, Daddy by Elouise East is a short, sweet, and deeply comforting Daddy/little read that had my heart from the start. It’s low-angst, full of tenderness, and exactly the kind of emotional hug I needed. 🤗

Loren, the Daddy, is everything I love in a caregiver—gentle, protective, and so deeply loving. The way he cared for Nathan had me melting. And that one scene? Where Loren thought Nathan left him? Absolutely broke me. 😭

Nathan’s story really pulled at my heartstrings. He’s been homeless, struggling for years to find a job, doing his best to survive in a world that kept shutting him out. Nobody wanted to take a chance on him just because of his situation. But despite it all, Nathan never gave up. He fought to survive through sex work, and still looked after his two best friends, Robbie and Daisy, with so much love and loyalty. That strength, that resilience—it made me love him even more. 🩵

This book is a soft, healing read. It’s got just a touch of spice, but the real magic is in the connection between Loren and Nathan. If you’re looking for a safe space between the pages, this one’s for you. ✨️

An enjoyable short and very sweet story.
I really felt for Nathan and his crappy life situation. He's lucky that Loren found him and decided to take care of him. I wanted to know more about hot Nathan came to be homeless.
Their Daddy/boy kinks really complemented each other.

Nathan is homeless. As a result of that, he makes what little money he can by prostituting. You see a little of that on page in the beginning, so if you don’t like that, you might skip this one. It was kind of a turn off to me, I’ll admit. However, he also likes Daddy kink, which gets him in trouble when he’s particularly into one of his hookups and it leaves him with a concussion and unconscious in an alley and that’s where Loren finds him.

Loren is an accountant and thinks that he’ll never find his boy. I’m not sure how far into the kink he was looking to go, but he seemed like a Daddy, type Daddy.. I was looking forward to that. Hot, right?
So, when he picks up a prostitute off the dirty alleyway and brings him home with him, I was hopeful that he and Nathan could help each other out.

However, everything tended to go at warp speed, which I understand that people in the kink community tend to do when they find someone that shares their same kink, but Loren picked up a prostitute and not only brought him into his home but gave him a key to his house the next morning. A complete stranger. I don’t care what kind of Barney Rubble town you live in, you do not give a stranger your house key and be like, hey, I know you’re a homeless prostitute with two friends you look after, but here, welcome to my home. I’m not at all worried about you stealing my things or trashing my house. Go nuts!

Then he walks in on him watching Daddy stuff and that starts their relationship, right then and there. And again, it’s my experience that when you have a specified kink, it’s better to just jump right in and see if you’re compatible. I understand that, but they went from hi, how are ya, to living together and in a committed relationship, complete with the kink and there was zero trust issues and all the dirty times and I’m over here like…. Are we gonna get tested? Should we exchange last names? Maybe go on a date or something first? No, it didn’t seem like we were.

It just didn’t feel genuine to me. Nathan called him Daddy every three seconds and let Loren do everything for him and once he colored him a picture, but that’s as far as the D/l thing went as far as I could tell. I dunno…. Maybe because it’s a short story I just didn’t feel the connection between the two, or maybe because it all happened at warp speed, I’m not sure. Maybe I’ll revisit it later and feel differently, but there was just too many things that made it unrealistic to me. Illogical, maybe. I’m still tripped up on finding an unconscious sex worker on the street and then giving him a key to your house all willy nilly, like it’s not such a dangerous thing to do.

Anyway, I did enjoy the hot cover and I always appreciate a sweet happily ever after.

Elouise East's Love Me, Daddy is a quick, yummy Daddy romance.

Loren and Nathan are two men who each have their fair share of struggles. Loren saves Nathan from the streets, but either man can admit what they want.

This story is loaded with attraction, want, and need. Damn it's hot! The connection is quick, strong, and exactly what they both need. I love, love, love the natural manner in which they connect and find what they want. And, fuck, it's hot!

Both characters are interesting. Nathan's life on the streets is fully illustrated, making him a sympathetic character from the start. By helping Nathan, Loren manages to find the boy he's always wanted. They complement one another perfectly.

Written in alternating point of view, the readers are able to understand both men. This is definitely the only way to make this story work so well.

Love Me, Daddy is a delightful feel-good read. With just 92 pages, I am hoping we get more of these two in our future. Since a lot is glossed over, this edition is a fluffy-ish read. And it's awesome!

Sweet story but I would have liked to have had more of Nathan’s backstory and how he ended up homeless. I do understand that with a short story (less than 200 pages) it may be more difficult to add backstory when you need to set up a relationship but, there was barely a hint about Nathan’s past. While I detected a little bit of chemistry/connection between MCs, it wasn’t as deep as it could have been. All that aside, I did enjoy their Daddy/boy dynamic.

Delightful!

For my first read by this author I must say I really enjoyed it. I read pretty much any genre, and did love the Daddy/Little boy story. Loren has been looking for his Lb for quite some time. But he never had good luck, that is, until one night he stumbled upon Nathan. The attraction was instantaneous and you could feel the emotions coming off the pages. What I enjoyed was how this story told of how this kind of relationship develops and it was truly delightful. Nathan made me laugh and I enjoyed the witty banter between them. I will definitely be reading more books by this author!

An okay read for me. The initial homeless chapters were interesting and I was looking forward to the rescue and daddy aspects. The instalove was a bit boring, but glad that Nathan and Loren got their HEA.

Interesting sweet romance involving an initially homeless character

Short and sweet, the almost insta-love (and certainly insta-trusting) moves the relationship at Warp speed. The Daddy finds a potential boy turning tricks and living in a shed on the street to survive. Bringing him home and soon giving him a key, the relationship soon turns into a trusting Daddy/Boy bond with only very minor hiccoughs on the way.

Added a fourth star for addressing (lightly) homelessness, the types of oppressive conditions not tackled too often in the genre.

ah yes, let me just leave my friend who has a high fever in the middle of the night to find illegal antibiotics and tell them that if i’m not back my morning they shouldn’t expect me, then be gone for multiple days, because a rich stranger let me live with him and after knowing him for like two days instead of actually helping my friends, let’s go tell them about our relationship

very realistic, absolutely loved it. DNF @ 52%

While I’m glad that the characters take the time to clearly discuss what they want and expect from their relationship and how they want the daddy/son dynamics to work, I mostly just found this deadly dull. Also, I found it a little cringe when they started bringing up coloring books. This isn’t my kink so I may have a low tolerance.

This was a pleasant story, although I doubt I will ever read it again. Both MC's are likable but I wish we had known a little more about them. I was under the assumption, for a good portion of the book, that Nathon was a very young man, but it isn't until much later in the book that you discover he had been living on the streets for 11 years, so I had to jack his age up considerably.

Loren is an accountant, but he does his work in a cafe or the library on most days. It is never explained why he does this, and to me it seems an odd way to conduct business. These are just niggling little things that I wanted explained so I could understand the character better.

You also don't find out why Nathan is on the streets and why he hasn't been able to get off them in 11 years. We do find out in the first few pages that he does occasional sex work when he has to get money but what he did the rest of the time or how he might have tried to get off the streets is not addressed at all.

It is almost an insta-love/ meshing kinks/HEA book; but it does take them almost a week to finalize their commitment to each other so not instant.

It was a relatively quick read and it is on KU, as are the rest of the books in the series, so I will probably read the other books when I feel like a quick and possibly superficial read.

This is a complete book and the other books in the series detail other couples.

Love Me, Daddy

After reading the Royal books with all the BDSM, I think I expected a bit more out of this book.
Some Daddy books are Little books where the one person sometimes can be as young as a toddler who wears a diaper and drinks a bottle all the way up to teens. There is usually alot of focus on that and then how that relationship connects to sex.
In this story, you have to feel a bit sorry because Nathan is homeless and a sex worker. But he only does that to bring food to the 2 other members in his shack. Unfortunately, he got beaten up in an alley...Fortunately for him there was a Good Samaritan -Loren who brought him home cleaned him up washed his clothes, let him sleep. Loren convinced him to stay at least until his concussion was better. Nathan went to look for clothes but instead found something to use in the shower. When Loren heard him scream out Daddy he knew that they were 2 pieces of the same puzzle. After that, they developed a Daddy/ boy relationship. Basically Loren talked about taking care of him fully. To me it sounded more like taking total control. And it has never sounded like that with other Daddy stories. It was ok.
It was not my favorite. I would give it a 7/10.
But the Royal books are the way to go along with the Illuminate books. This one just didn't strike my fancy.

A mix between Pretty Woman and Princess Bride Lite. I wanted to enjoy this more than I did but I had to suspend a lot of my reasoning and survival skills to keep reading. Thank God, it was short because I kept thinking of what could go wrong if Nate and Loren weren't kind and responsible people.

I mean, their interaction could have ended with either one of them being a serial killer or opportunist. Also, how they each learned they were into the same kink was just ridiculous. Seriously, you got to someone's home and use their personal sex toy? REALLY?

Aside from those faux pas, what ever happened to Loren's besties Ben and Karen? We never see them again and don't even know if they ever met Nate. Also, we never learn how Nate ended up on the streets for 11 years. I assume he was kicked out of his house because his parents found out he was gay.

God, I really wish I enjoyed this more than I did but I couldn't ignore so many illogical things in such a short book. Maybe if it had been longer the author could have taken more time.

To end on a good note, I did appreciate that the author took the time to show us about Nate's sex work and how he was able to come to terms with it. It was very interesting and also heartbreaking because he was so starved for affection.

"We think sometimes that poverty is only being hungry, naked and homeless. The poverty of being unwanted, unloved and uncared for is the greatest poverty. We must start in our own home to remedy this kind of poverty." ~Mother Teresa
Loren ~ Daddy, looking for boy to cherish and love. Needs 24/7 arrangement.
Nate ~ Homeless, rent boy who longs for a Daddy to love and care for him.
I really enjoyed this story. Is is too short? Yes. Is it insta-love? Yes. Is it still a really good story? Yes!!
Loren found Nate in a not so great situation and decided to bring him home and care for him since he could have had a pretty bad concussion. I loved that Loren made it clear if they were to have a relationship Nate wouldn't have to worry about being put back on the streets again. Nate was safe to decide if the relationship with Loren was really what he wanted which I loved. Nothing was held over his head and Loren never made him feel uncomfortable or indebted to him. The story flowed really well and as much as I wanted so much more because I love these two MC's I'm really happy with how everything went. I've read this book a few times in a row and keep going back to it so I'm glad I purchased a copy!! ♡

I love Daddy kink books and I love to see a character that has nothing but a tiny scrap of hope to hold on to, find everything they were ever looking for and this story filled the bill. Taking place in the UK, I admit to having to search out a couple of things but I now know what a lemon squash is lol. So much sweetness, it felt like a fairy tale. There was definitely more to Nathan’s story that I wouldn’t have minded learning about. One doesn’t live rough for that long doing what he needed to do to survive without a few bumps and hiccups but I was able to overlook that after a passing thought. Daddy/little (really any BDSM) relationships tend to develop at a much quicker pace than average relationships and that was the case here. It is understandable since there is so much that needs to be discussed beforehand and there is a degree of trust that has to happen for the dynamic to play out. These guys fit together and adapted beautifully. I would definitely recommend this book if Daddy kink ticks your box!

Nathan is homeless and leading a fairly miserable existence and so finding himself a Daddy is impossible - proven when he accidentally said the word during a liaison only to be knocked out and dumped on the streets. Accountant Loren finds him and steps him to care for him - to Nathan he feels like a Daddy but he is too scared to ask following his most recent experience. Loren is yearning for the perfect boy to cherish and Nathan certainly calls to that within himself but he refuses to cross that line until he realises that Nathan's need for him is real when they then feel their way through the new dynamic between them - the question is will Nathan be Daddy’s good boy or Daddy’s little brat?

I enjoyed this story which started with an act of kindness and that then led to the kind of relationship which was solid and lasting as they managed to resolve all and any problems between each other. It was easy to read and understand and I found myself swept away in the story. Contains mature content which could be explicit at times and featured BDSM behaviours of the DDLB derivative.

OMG... OMG.....it was too short, Elouise I want more of Loren and Nathan's story.....pretty please...

Excellent story.
Do you believe that there is that one person, that fated one, out there for everyone?
Well I do and as you read this book you would believe it as well.

From the prologue, I was intrigued. When I finally got time to read this book I couldn't put it down. I wanted so much to know how Nathan and Loren's story played out....

One night Loren was startled by a man who ran out in front of him from the direction of an alley, as he was resumming his walk he heard a noise, when he went to investigate she saw a young man on the floor holding his head. He helped then said man, and well let's just say this was the beginning of Loren and Nathan's story.
Short but sweet.

Thank you author for allowing me to read your words.

I haven’t read too many Daddy romances yet and I liked one of this author’s taboo reads so I decided to jump right in.

I liked how Loren treated Nathan and cared for him. It hurt my heart a little bit when Loren cried after thinking Nathan left him. After Nathan came back and Loren hugged him for a long time... I felt how much he cared about Nathan after such a short time. It was sweet.

I didn’t really care for Nathan to respond to every answer or question with “Daddy.” I know he wants to call Loren that alllll the time rather than his name, but after almost every single sentence is unnecessary and a little redundant and over the top.

I also wish there was a bit more sex. The scenes felt a little shorter than I’m used to. They were hot, but I wanted a little bit more.

All in all I still liked reading this and will probably continue reading the other Daddy books by this author.

Nathan has been living on the streets for years. He makes money by going into alleys to find someone who wants his services. One night he is injured, and Loren hears his moans. Loren investigates, finds Nathan, and takes him home to do first aid. He invites Nathan to stay, if he chooses. Nathan is happy to stay but feels unworthy because of his past work. Loren and Nathan talk about what each needs. Can they make it work? Can they meet each other's needs?

I liked this story. I felt it was too short and could have been fleshed out more. I liked the characters. Loren and Nathan are right for each other. I appreciated Nathan's friendship with Robbie and Daisy and that it extends to Loren. I also liked that Loren wanted to know what Nathan needed to do all day to be happy while Loren was at work then came up with a plan. I look forward to more of this series.

3.5 stars An okay novel to read for Nathan and Daddy Loren’s romance.
Nathan was short on cash and did what he had to for food for himself and his friends, Daisy and Robbie. Longing for a Daddy was the only thing he’d wished for.
Loren was looking for a new boy to spend time with but no one has caught his eye yet.
Loren finds an injured man in an alleyway and steps in to help.
An easy flowing story as the two characters just falling into place.
Includes sexy scenes, dual povs, submission, and punishment, with a HEA ending. As I started reading this it felt familiar as I think I’ve read the previous version prior. I usually love this author’s work but this one I couldn’t feel the connection between the characters.

A fairly basic homeless man seeking a Daddy/Daddy seeking a "boy" tale.

Nathan is injured after selling his sexual "talent" to a customer. Loren, an older man looking for a "boy," comes to Nathan's rescue and brings him home and tends to his injury. Loren asks Nathan to stay untill he is healthy.

Not wanting to act on his desire to be Nathan's Daddy until he is certain of Nathan's needs, Loren maintains his distance at first. But when Nathan makes his needs known, Loren responds accordingly.

At only 129 pages, this is more of a novella than a book. The plot is sweet, but basic fare. Dialogue is good and loving. World building is limited and character development is simple. Really nothing particularly special about this book.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

🫧 Daddy/Boy. Hurt/Comfort. Sweet and Sexy. 3rd person, dual POV.

So this was your run of the mill daddy/boy love story with a couple of twists…

Nathan is a homeless s*x worker in the beginning. We don’t know his story or anything. He just turns tricks to make money. He stays in a shack with Daisy and Robbie, another homeless couple. When Daisy gets sick, Nathan goes to work and accidentally calls a client daddy and ends up being pushed into a wall.

Loren is an accountant who wants a boy. He stumbles across a hurt Nathan and takes him home to help him heal. They discover they’re perfect for each other and there you go.

I honestly don’t even think I highlight anything. The story wasn’t bad. Other than a few editing mistakes, it just wasn’t memorable and that’s okay.

This was a sweet story with an element of instant love, which I happen to love so this book really hit the spot with me. Nathan and Loren were searching for something that had been hard to come by, a daddy/boy relationship with someone that would fulfill all of their needs. Loren rescues Nathan one night from a dangerous situation and ends up taking him home. Some of the harsher aspects of Nathan's life are glossed over a bit but I like that as it made this book a lighthearted read rather than an overly emotional book. In the end, there was a satisfying conclusion that left me smiling long after the book was over.
