Finn McPherson worked as a reaper and a hired assassin for three hundred years. He never mixed business and pleasure until he met the one woman who moved his soul and needed a savior. Throwing caution to the wind, he offered her his protection but never imagined she would shoot him.

Now, these two reapers will meet at the Crimson Moon Hideaway and sparks will certainly fly, in and out of the bedroom. Too bad their roles are reversed this time and Finn will have to choose between killing the love of his life or being killed by his employer.

This was an entertaining read by a new-to-me author. It's certainly got action, difficult choices, lies and a complicated history for the two main characters. Expect your emotions to go all over the place when you get sucked into this one ;)

Beautifully Exciting

Wow, with every turn of the page you find yourself holding your breathe not knowing what was going to happen. The story is a rollercoaster ride of excitement and Lovers drama. Everyone is out to make money to kill someone.

Not sure how I would feel if I killed or had to kill someone I loved. Do not think I could do it for any amount of money. But they do say revenge happens for the littlest price sometimes.

Reading this story will have you laughing, crying, and maybe throwing things at the author. That's ok I am pretty sure she is tough and can handle it, as long as the objects are soft.

You will truly enjoy this book...Hay Jianna and Merlin, where's my invite???

Catrina Fernandez had a dilemma and when she made her choice she had no idea that she would lose her own soul in the process. Now she finds herself a Reaper and a nightly sought out paid assessing. In all of that time, she has never forgotten the man she truly loved (and was the first one that she killed). Reaper and hired assessing Finn McPherson has done the job for over 300 years and has never mixed business with pleasure until he met the one woman who needed a saviour even though he had never imagined that she would thank him but shooting him. As the two reapers meet at the Crimson Moon Hideaway sparks are certainly going to fly even though their roles are now reversed as Finn is going to have to be the one to do the killing this time. The question is is he going to kill the love of his life or will he let his employer kill him for not doing the job he agreed to complete?

I liked this dramatic story with the crosses and double-crosses all through the story. I also enjoyed the fact that the owners of the resort had more of a role in this story that others who are set there. I did find the constant steps back into the pasts very irritating after a while and wish that the author had done the past and then followed it up with the present so that I didn't have to constantly think as to which timeframe I was in. I enjoyed the ending and the way that there was a promise as to further books featuring both Catrina and Finn. Contains a little sexual content.

Crimson Moon Hideaway: When Reapers Fall (Women of the Fold Book 2) has an interesting storyline. Finn and Catrina are compelling. Their history is a bit complicated, and yet you want them to come together and overcome their past. The story has some good reaper action, a couple of good fight scenes, a strong band of women who will stand by their friends, a powerful bad girl fae who holds a big grudge, and more. Lies and secrets from the past add some interesting twists and suspense to the story.

Unfortunately, how the story jumps from past to present and present to past interrupts the story's flow. It really made it difficult to read. I should have read this book straight through but had to put it down frequently to get past my irritation. I really like the story. However, some of those jaunts into the past did not seem necessary. The book would have received a much higher rating if it were not for that.

I really enjoyed this story. We met Catrina aka Cat in book one of this series, and she was kick-butt take names later.
Cat and Anastasia became good friends and were to go to the Crimson Moon Hideaway for a girl's vacation but...
A reaper has to do what a reaper has to do.
Cat deals in death but she never thought it would be her own or the man she loves.
The author gives us detail about Cat's life before and after what she has become.
We get action and so much heart in this story.

Catrina (Cat) knew Finn a long time ago he fell in love with her but she broke his heart when she killed him, Finn is a reaper and an assassin and now Cat is a reaper and to earn extra money she is hired as an assassin. Finn is back it’s near impossible to kill a reaper and when he is hired to kill a woman and make it painful he takes one look at the photo and see’s the woman that he has to kill is Cat but he signs the contract anyway and in his blood, now Finn is wondering how the hell can he break the contract. I’m loving this series it’s a fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Love wins! This book features two souls separated by forces beyond their control for a very long time. When they find each other they are bound to kill one another. The author says this story pays homage to the movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie a movie I haven’t seen so I may have missed some inside jokes but no matter I really enjoyed the story anyway. This story can be read stand alone but will be more enjoyable if you’ve read Crimson Moon Hideaway: Time Wasn't Ready (Women of the Fold Book 1) first.

Such a great read and a great addition to Crimson Moon series! Catrina and Finn were just great! Loved their backstory! These two went through so much! They really had some tough choices to make ... past and present. Very enjoyable and entertaining read!

It was a nice story. Story which learns us that even someone considered a friend can stab you at the back. But also that real love will stuck by you even if it could mean his death. Finn and Catrina had no easiest start, neither in the past neither now. Some people, they considered friends even, did betray them. Luckily they had help and it let them have a future. It was a nice, light read.
