dnf at 20 % Got it on stuff your kindle day. The plot, if one was meant to exist, it doesnt. Her conflict is that she was told she was ugly and called fat by the one dude in a small town that apparently paid any attention to her so she was going to marry him so she could have a family. She runs away on horseback and encounters 2 guys who help her out because she has heat exposure. They set up camp and immediately get down even though they just told her she has nothing to fear from them. Somehow the ranger pleasuring her can "feel her maidenhead" and hes happy because he wants to marry a virgin. LOL If thats your cup of tea, hit it up. I cant read something like that without fully being pulled from the story every other line.
Two Cowboys One Bride was the highlight of my week. It was the proverbial gold mine. Lacey Davis Captivated me the moment sweet Belle Walker's fiancé was an absolute toad to her; she said deuces and ran away from the church bridal gown in tow.
Then, low and behold to her Jackson Moore and Cal Thomas two delicious Texas Rangers save her and her horse after her runaway bride moment. She doesn't know what to think other then she isn't supposed to be having these types of feelings for both men when she was moments away from getting married.
Both, Jackson and Cal share everything including women and they have just found the woman they want to make their wife. They know going delicately with her is the only way to go because that ex of hers shattered her heart and they want to know why.
Add in a murderer and this book was the perfect combination of suspense and all the heat. I can't wait to see what else Lacey Davis has written especially the rest of the Blessing, Texas series.
Two Cowboys One Bride is the third book in Lacey Davis’ Blessing, Texas series. This book is a quick and enjoyable polyamorous romance of Bella Walker, Jackson Moore and Cal Thomas. Both men are veteran Texas Rangers ready to retire and start a new life. Bella Walker is a beautiful and curvy heiress. She is about to marry Lester Clark when she overhears him plotting to kill her and use her money to go to the Black Hills. Realizing his intent, she becomes a runaway bride. Destiny brings her and the two rangers together. This book is beautifully written with strong multi-layered characters. The lead characters are strong, determined and confident. I liked the strong dialog. I appreciated the three-person point of view to tell their back stories. I also enjoyed how she ties this book in with the other books in her series through supporting characters like Seth Ingram, the local sheriff. Ms. Davis’ use of descriptive language paints vivid scenes. I appreciated how Ms. Davis creates tension in her plotline with the inclusion of a serial murderer, Lester Clark. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
I enjoyed reading Two Cowboys One Bride(Blessing, Texas Book 3)!!! All about Bella Walker who is twenty-one an Heiress & Jackson Moore and Cal Thomas are partners and Texas Rangers in their mid-thirties. The rangers were headed to Blessing, Texas to meet with the sheriff, when a horse with a woman in a wedding dress comes racing past them. Bella has escaped her wedding because the future groom has threatened to kill her and steal her inheritance. Read about Bella & the Rangers and see how well they take care of her!!! Lots of emotions with toe curling incidents throughout the store. Definite Read!!!
The main characters are clones of the characters in the author's previous books except they have different names. Their dialogue and actions are carbon copies too. Even the villain always ends up to be the person who has previously harassed the main female character. There is nothing new. The writing is basic at its best and reads like a primary school child's writing.
If you love western romance you will enjoy this ! How a runaway bride can find the two men who are meant for her.The author did a great job bringing the characters involved lives together. She also added drama in the form of a serial killer to the story. I think you will enjoy this book and I recommend it to anyone who loves a mystery added to a happy ending.Looking forward to reading more from this author.
This is a good, short, high heat, western romance set in Texas. The characters are interesting, lovable, and well developed for a short story. Belle was waiting in church when she overhears her groom talking badly about her and his plans. She leaves, gets on her horse and nearly kills them trying to run away. She runs into two Texas Rangers who save her and her horse. Read and enjoy this story.
Lucky Rangers 3 stars. - Depends on what you’re looking for in a story - if you’re looking for steamy scenes then this book has a few of that. The suspect could have been less predictable. Bella is a fighter. Cal and Jackson seem to be the luckiest men in finding Bella twice. I’m not sure if the historical setting adds up but if that’s not why you’re reading romance books then it shouldn’t bother you.
Great read, Lacey delivers again. The premise of 2 Texas Rangers and a run away bride was intriguing. I really enjoyed the series and the Bridgewater Bride series of books. If you’re looking for a nice enjoyable escape snag this one and the others by Lacey and just escape into the west where the men are really men and the women are well loved.
This had a good premise and a little bit of a mystery but the pace of the story was just too quick. I like a slow burn so the fact that the day she ran away from her wedding is the day she is having an orgasm from two men just seemed too fast. The smutty scenes were good and if you were just reading for that 4 stars.
Well written story and well developed characters! If you like Vanessa Vale, you will like Lacey Davis! I couldn't put this book down and read it in just a couple of hours! Loved it!
I got this book with the free romance downloads….not my cup of tea. It was literally just smut with barely any plot and the plot was so cheesy and way too fast paced. I get why it might appeal to others just was not for me.
Loved the book, wish it were longer can not wait to read the others, keep me reading when I should have put it down but couldn't, who ever reads this book will not be disappointed like I said great book .
This was a quick read that doesn't take too much brain power to get through. It's more focused on the menage a trois aspect and doesn't have any real plot which I think it could have used more of. There is the background of Bella's ex fiancé but it is resolved very quickly.
DNF at 14%. I got it on stuff your kindle day and its so bad I cannot finish. The bride runs away on her wedding day not because the groom is blatantly threatening to kill her, but because he calls her ugly. The two main guy characters are so one dimensional it's painful to read.
