This intriguing dragon shifter romance is a splendid addition to the “Irish Dragon Mafia” series & it will keep the reader’s interest from start to finish. It has a well-paced storyline with good world building & an entertaining plot with good scene descriptions. The characters are well-developed & quite unique with interesting personalities. The secondary characters offer good support.
It is about: an Irish dragon shifter (Mickey Ryan aka Leonard Simon) with strong mafia ties comes into contact with his mate (an intern, Dr. Rebecca Myles) but there is danger looming on the horizon.
There is: dragon shifters, wolf shifters, humans, mafia, danger, threats, enemies, violence, conflict, deceit, betrayal, adventure, action, intrigue, suspense, twists & turns, drama, secrets, family issues, mates, warnings, complications, distrust, suspicions, complications, discovery, determination, surprises, some steam, contentment, love & a wonderful conclusion.

Loved it
Brilliant second book of the series. Mickey the youngest out of the brothers worked at the hospital as a doctor but he was just there in case any dragons came in and he could look after them.
Rebecca always wanted to be a doctor and now she was doing her internship what she didn’t expect was her new boss to be
naked sleeping in his office and how good looking he was but also the pull she felt to him.
Mickey woke up and saw Rebecca and his dragon took notice could she be his mate. Danny his brother was seriously ill bitten by a wolf he needed to find who it was and get some wolf blood to heal his brother but his sister in law Steph pointed out Rebecca as she was new and the same day she turned up Danny took a turn for the worse. Mickey couldn’t convince them it isn’t her.
Mickey and Rebecca end up going after the wolves themselves as his family didn’t believe them that it was another doctor from the hospital as Rebecca saw him coming out of Danny’s room. Rebecca followed him and through quick thinking threw her phone in his car and she went to Mickey’s house but she was attacked and bitten by a wolf as she got there now her life was in danger.
Mickey takes Rebecca with him as they follow her phones signal when he leaves her in the car she rings for back up lucky for them she did as now Mickey also needed the wolf blood.

Mickey meets Rebecca after she wakes him. It was funny. Steph tells Mickey to leave Rebecca alone. There's more important work to do. Steph and Aiden blame Rebecca for their brother's downward turn. She is the one who finds out the truth. The scenes get tense.

This fast paced story has strong characters, passion, twists and suspense. Intrigue will have you quickly turning pages ... wanting to know who is the wolf? This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

This is one more amazing book by Maia Starr. I, of course, had to start the series with book 2, so no I need to read the Prequel and the first book before the next one is published...but it will definitely NOT be a hardship!

This story is fast paced and entertaining. Rebecca finds herself in quite a predicament and Mickey is all consuming. I loved the drama, the twists and the heat, definitely the heat. I am voluntarily leaving my review of this ARC.

A Good Story
While I enjoyed the premise and characters, both old and new, I had an issue with the editing. It seems there were quite a few instances where a character’s name was misplaced along with grammatical errors. These made the enjoyment decrease.

I enjoyed this very much despite all the name errors (accepting I have an ARC copy). The tale read fairly well and was not as predictable as I thought!!

This is a must read series!
Mikey and Rebecca was another great story. Thank God everyone one that was was attacked survived. Again you had my attention right away!

While tender and romantic when you add the Irish mafia anything goes. Mysterious injuries and fatal diseases with no solution. Exciting adventure.
