Learning How To Love -
Misty had a lot of trust issues because of what her father put her and her mother through. Her mum tried everything to get her to open up her heart, but her insecurities made her weary of all men. However, things started changing after she met Brooks and he slowly started breaking down the walls she had built up around her heart. It would take time, but once she realised she really wanted him, there was no going back.

This was a great well-written storyline, that had me hooked whilst rooting for them to get their happily ever after. It is a definite must read book.

In all honesty, this book was good, but not great, if that makes sense. The first quarter to a third of it was anticlimactic for me, so it was slightly difficult to really "get into." Also, a couple of chapters were typed twice, so some parts were difficult to understand. I decided to keep reading, and was actually surprised by it. Misty's story felt like one heck of a rollercoaster, which made me glad she got the ending she deserved. :)

Misty's parents split when she was young and her father disappeared. Before he did, he threatened Misty and hated being married so it wasn't a good relationship. Misty and her mother moved around a lot and Misty tried really hard to make her mother happy but doing good in school and college. After she graduated her mother said they had to move once again and moved in with one of her mother's friends.
Misty inherited an Inn when her grandfather passed away. It was a 4 bedroom bed and breakfast Inn Emerald Isle, North Carolina. It needed work and there was only one contractor, Brooks, who could do it but Misty wanted nothing to do with him. He was good looking and the women would hang out at his office just to see more of his face.
Misty finally felt like she had found home and she was falling in love with Brooks. It is looking hopeful but her father shows up at the inn. You will have to read the book to see what happens but you really will enjoy it.
