Demise is the final book in Paige P. Horne's Bones trilogy. Told in multiple points of view, this is the conclusion to Danny (Bones) and Bexley's story. It picks up where the previous book (Insurgent) left off with Bones and Bexley still at the cabin battling it out against Carson (Trig).

From that point on, like Paige tends to do with her unseen twists and turns, I was completely hooked and couldn't put it down. I devoured this as quickly yet as slowly as I could, wanting to savor each and every word. And all of the questions that were left up in the air finally got full closure.

This was a thrilling heart pounding ride that kept me on the edge of my seat, falling under this author's spell once again. The characters together were scorching with an undeniable love and chemistry that sizzled off the pages. Another outstanding and unique read that comes highly recommended by me. Five stars for Bones, Bexley and Demise!

My only complaint with this book is that it’s not long enough!!!! I wanted to go slow and savor it but I wanted to read it quickly to know what happened! I’m sad but I’m happy that the story of Bones and Bexley is done. I’m sad because I will miss them but I’m happy because I’ve been waiting for this conclusion to the story! And when I miss them I can always go back and read the trilogy again! Paige has an amazing way of writing, especially when it comes to series. She references back to characters in books before it but she helps the reader to remember it by placing a memory that the character has in the exact spot it’s needed so the story still flows but the reader doesn’t have to go back to the previous books to see who this minor character was. This may have been one of the best endings to a series I’ve read! The way everything ended and was tied all together was simply brilliant! And I loved seeing Bryce and Kathrine again! If you haven’t read any of Paige P. Horne’s books then what are you waiting for!? Go now! She is a fabulous storyteller with characters you can’t help but fall in love (or in hate, as appropriate) with! I just can’t say enough about this book and this trilogy! You want to read about Danny and his love, Bexley, now!

My first top favorite read of 2021!

I’m probably going to sound dramatic, but I am feeling melancholy because this trilogy is over. I’ve been invested in these characters and the storyline for almost a year, and I didn’t want it to end. I even suggested to the author that she write a fourth book lol. Seriously though, once you read them you’ll understand why I was greedy enough to want more.

It is without a doubt Paige’s best series yet! I waited months for this conclusion and it was worth the wait. Definitely one of those EPIC series that I will never forget!

Not going too much into the plot- just read it!!! I wouldn’t steer you wrong 😉! Danny and Bexley definitely went through their ups and downs. Their journey was anything but perfect. There was so much angst, so many heartbreaking moments, so much intensity and action, that I was stayed on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next. I loved everything about it!!! Especially the epilogue, it was perfect!

I highly recommend this series and author! Paige, bravo! Thank you for giving us such an amazing story! I can’t wait to see what you have up your sleeve next!

I cannot express how enthralled I am with the final installment of the #bonestrilogy. Paige P. Horne put everything she had into DEMISE and it shows.

This is the MOST character fueled growth and vulnerability I’ve read in ... I can’t tell you how long. It’s refreshing to say the least. A complete evolution of the souls in the story but of a writer too.

From the very first chapter, I could tell this one was different in story telling and power and pace. This is a gripping read that will keep you guessing, swooning and praising Paige’s storytelling prowess!

A perfect finale for the Bones trilogy in all aspects!

Even if I found myself loving the villain a wee bit too much.....but hey! That’s the mark of a well written character right?!

I can't believe I just said goob bye to Danny. I'm gonna miss him ❤️.

Demise is the final book for Danny (Bones) story. He's not your typical prince but you can't help to fall in love with him. This book starts right were the last one ended, they're still kidnapped and struggling to escape.

A few things happen and they can leave that place and get better. I like the fact the book is told from different points of view which helps you understand the story better. Life was not easy for him and Bexley but along the way they were able to find their happy ending and everyone else got what they deserved. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat and going thru pages quick because you'll need to know what happens next.

Where to even begin!! What an EPIC conclusion to an amazing series! No matter how much you try to change it's course fate will step in every time. I'm sure it wasn't the way Bex and Danny saw it playing out. This story was incredible and action packed! Full of lust, longing, fear, death. The entire package and you cannot look away! I loved every page. It was completely perfect.

I don’t know how to rate this one. Well it made me cry 😢 poor Samuel he really deserved better. But that’s usually how love triangles are. Someone have to go for the other to take over.
I like how this author writes a lot. But this didn’t need to be a trilogy like at all. But that’s maybe me saying that since I’m not a fan of them. This last book was all copy and paste. Stuff that we covered before.

I can’t believe it’s time to say goodbye to Danny a.k.a. Bones. But here we are finally with the last installment in this amazing trilogy. Paige had woven this story so brilliantly. I was waiting with anticipation for this final installment in this trilogy to see how it was all going to end.

Demise picks up right where Insurgent left off. Danny and Bex are still being held in the Barron’s and you’re waiting to see if Sweep is going to make it there in time to save them or if Trig is going to be able to pull off his masterful plan. Now you know I’m not gonna give away those spoilers in this review right?

What I am going to say is the depth of these characters, and the relationship between Danny and Bex will continue to unfold. There are so many twists and turns still to come and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough.

I can’t say enough about the writing in this book and how brilliantly the story is told. We even get to see some of Bryce and Katherine from The Give Me Love series. I don’t want to give away anything that happens because you need to experience it yourself. But I highly recommend reading this final installment. You must read the first two books in order to follow what’s going on in Demise.

This is one of the best trilogies I’ve read in a really long time. Danny and Bex are truly fated to be together and their journey together will stay with me for a long time.

Demise made me emotional in more ways than one! I could not wait for this book and now I wish it wasn’t over. The heartache, loss, deception, pain, desire and love come to a head and I gasped out loud more than once. Danny (Bones) and Bexley are tethered together heart and soul and it’s breathtaking to witness. They have grown so much and had a hell of a journey to get to this point. Bex brings Bones peace. Danny fills a void in in Bexley’s heart that only he can because it’s really only beats for him. The flashbacks really helped bring everything full circle. When Danny asked how many times he had to lose her, I felt my heart break. But Paige always makes up for it and this time was no different. You have to read the story to find out how she put my heart back together. I can’t even right now!!!! You also need to read this book for the pictures, the lake house, the medicine cabinet, the memories, the tattoo and the ring alone. I don’t know how anyone could walk away from Danny because he stole my heart and I would do anything to stay!!!!

Thank you Paige P Horne. Thankyou. For giving us Danny “Bones” O’Brian.

The man. The devil himself. The only man to be so purely cold and heartbreakingly ruthless while making me fall head over heels for his sweet kind tormented soul.

Ugh I’m sad this is over.

To put it into perspective I read all three books in two days. THAT’S HOW GOOD IT IS. Yessireejiminybob.

I still didn’t warm to Bexley. I think my issue with her was t decision she made all those years ago. She should have moved away and let Danny move on, but she didn’t, instead she chose to stay and broke him the way she knew deep down she would. But Danny, his love never faltered l, not once.

The ending to this book had me on tenterhooks!! I felt a surprising amount of impending doom for the last 10 or so chapters, and let me tell you that’s not a good feeling to have!

I cannot recommend Paige P Horne’s books enough. She’s an instant buy for me since I read her Give Me series!

Epic ending to the series!
I was intrigued with Bones when I read the Give Me Love series so when I found out he got his own story I was over the moon. All the darkness that surrounded him was as much alluring as it was dangerous.
The whole thing is full of love and loss and lies and betrayal. I could not have imagined it any other way.
We already knew all the things we knew. Then PPH reminded us it was only what we thought we knew and "here, let me go ahead and toss in a few more curves to make sure."
With the way the first two books ended I was worried I wouldn't get all the answers I was looking for and still be comfortable without looking over my shoulder. Demise covered all those missing pieces with past present and future and I now feel complete with the way it all came to a close.

I’ve been dying for the ending to this trilogy and it did not disappoint!

This is the third and final book in the Bones trilogy. Danny (Bones), is not the typical hero but I couldn't help but fall in love with him and root for him to get the girl. Picking up right where the second book left off, Danny and Bexley are still kidnapped and trying to figure a way out.

There were so many twists and turns in this story and I was hooked. My heart was broken for these two broken characters and I really enjoyed the way the author put their hearts (and mine) back together.

If you love mafia romances, definitely pick up this trilogy!

Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.

I received an ARC of Demise in exchange for an honest review.

"Rule of thumb: Always have cash on you and a loaded gun. You never know when you might have to pay someone off, and you never know when you might have to off someone."

I have read ARC's of each of the Mafia books that Paige has written. Y'all, these books are so damn good. The love that Danny and Bexley have for one another is pure fire. If you pick up these books, I would suggest starting with the Give Me Series first, as the Bones Trilogy is a spin off of the Give Me Series. I have been so invested in these books. This book was such a great happy ending to the trilogy. 5 Stars, Paige.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. This is the 3rd book of the Bones Trilogy and each book MUST be read in order.
Bexley and Danny are finally free from their kidnappers and are trying to navigate their new normal. They both finally learn to forgive all the past damage and the heartache they did to one another. Maybe they can finally move forward with their lives.
Wow what an epic ending to an amazing story. Just like the first two books of the series I devoured this book in one setting. So sad to be done with these two and 🤞 we get Johnny aka Sweeps book.

I’m so sorry to see Danny and Bexley go but yet happy at the same time. This story held me captivated from beginning to end! While I could totally feel for how Bexley was torn I could also understand her loyalty and devotion. Ultimately they got what they both truly deserved and I loved every last word from Paige P. Horne who’s developed these characters and story into a most unique and captivating series!

Demise is the final book the the Bones trilogy and by far my favorite. Paige P. Horne puts everything into this book. It starts right where the second one ends. There’s danger and struggle and there’s happiness. It grips you from the first page and it doesn’t let you go until the end. Needing to read into the early morning needing to know if Danny can and will get out and will Bexley finally be happy and get what she wants and need.

This book definitely had me on edge. Bexley and Danny finally were pulled from the misery they were in. But it was just as miserable when they returned to normal life. There were lots of changes and wrongs to be righted. They both had to find themselves and to see if they had a future together in all of the madness that Danny was in. It was definitely thrilling, but I think they got the future they deserved.

Demise is the final book in the Bones Trilogy. It starts where Insurgent left off. Bones and Bexley are still fighting for their lives but finally knowing who has kidnapped them. As the story progresses, those involved get what they deserve. But will Danny and Bexley get what they deserve? A happy ending!! This story is told in multiple POVs. I couldn't stop reading and sad that their story has ended.

Demise is the final book in the Bones (Give me love spin off)
You’ll have to read the other book in the services first as they aren’t stand alone.

Part 3 starts with Bexley and Bones still at the cabin, facing off with their feelings and trying to stay alive.

This book closes off all the unanswered questions from the previous books and just give you a feel good feeling to of closure. It’s heartbreaking and beautiful.

What a finale!!!

The finale book in the series (you have to read the first two before this one) and it does not disappoint. Twists and turns every time you think you know what’s happening. So glad to see Bexley and Bones get the end of their story.

Thanks Paige for making us fall in love with the bad guy!

I am obsessed with this book... no.. I mean this series. The love Bones has for Bexley is something everyone should hope for. Yes he had to grow up and go through somethings first. But Bexley was always the number one in his heart. I can’t say enough about it all. This is a definite must read!!!

My first 5 star of the year. I know it's only January but holy hell. This book was everything I expected in the conclusion of this series and more. This entire series has been quite the experience for me. I have yelled, cussed, called characters names and even laughed. I think I can safely say this author is now a must read for me!

Wow! Amazing read! The complexity of the story. The rhythm of this book amazed me. It was constant and kept the pages turning as if I was on the first chapter. This is a mafia romance in its best form -gritty, cringe-worthy and constantly evolving. Hooray to bones and brexleys hea!
