The struggle to survive, reunite and fight against the waters - and the hubris and ego of man - in Deluge Book 5.

*****

Put in place to try and fix the the melting ice caps, the Exobot project was supposed to be our salvation.

It became our destruction instead.

In the space of a few hours, most of the world's land masses - including over 95% of the United States - have been covered with water. Billions are dead, governments are in chaos, and the few survivors left are literally treading water, trying to find the few bits of dry land left.

In the midst of the chaos, family ties, determination and the sheer will to live will be the only protection against the complete annihilation of mankind.

I write post apocalyptic science fiction both on my own account and with Mike Kraus, as well as space opera and fantasy. And one or two other bits and bobs.

Based in the south of England, I've been writing since my teens, alternating between funny and serious. In the mid 1990s, I became a regular columnist for PC Pro magazine and have written a number of business and craft books over the years.

Fiction is my first love, however - I hope you enjoy my voyages into an uncertain future.

LOST - a review by Rosemary Kenny

LOST, Book 5 in the riveting, all-action, apocalyptic thriller DELUGE, by Kevin Partner and Mike Kraus, continues the dystopian saga of a near-future possibility that will blow your mind!

Former Russian spy Yuri, relies on Bobby to get his vital evidence to President Buchanan. When their SUV gets snowbound, Yuri copies the vital info and they leave via an alternate route, as soon as they can. Will Buchanan still be in Denver?

Ellie and Jodi head out from Ragtown and after an eventful trip they find Jodi's father Joel, is now an advisor to Booker, a Presidential usurper.
What do the women see when they head to the coast? What can they do about it?
Can they escape the traitors' plots alive?

As any pretence of democratic rule disintegrates, can Yuri, Bobby, Ellie, Patrick, Jodi, Joel, Buzz, Yen, Pope and Max manage to save President Buchanan and thwart the foreign conspirators, who mean to bring the United States down to its knees, like never before?

all characters become actors

When the Chinese come for our resources and space you might have to play along for a while. True Americans want to help others and not throw in with just someone with needed food in cardboard boxes. if not a flood, the problem will be state sanctioned viral pandemics. trust but verify intentions before rising up.

What a disaster. Most of the earth is covered over with water. The few survivors are trying to find dry land. How will this all end. Definitely a book not to miss, I was caught up with the characters and the plot until the end. Having two talented writers together is a bonus.

Lost, Deluge 5.

Intrigue, a country turned into 3 by the deluge of water filled with detritus, bodies etc. Now Freezing, blizzards, and 3 “Presidents” only one of which IS Potus. 3 missions by civilian survivors, helping to find answers.

Good story

It seems a bit surreal that they have all escaped being killed so many times. Look forward to when the baxter family reunite and Bobby Ellie and maria. It will be interesting to see how they solve the ice freeze problem.
