Tradition and contemporary art merge in this magnificent color-coded Kipper card set designed for fortune-telling with ease. Blending this modern setting with traditional situational cards creates a foundation for a 21st-century predictive read. Explore your day-to-day environment with the Rainbow Kipper and never be confused regarding what events will occur. Each of the 36 cards is described in the accompanying handbook, delving into people, movement, connectors, and cause and effect. This inventive journey follows the first color-coded 36-card Kipper deck, created with the reader in mind to forge predictive accuracy at first glance. Clusters of color allow you to detect situations that will arise, without complex reading techniques, and make it simple for you to spot every area of importance in a read that will amaze your querents with accurate reads. Appropriate for all ages. Card 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Sturdy box, full-colour guidebook, durable cardstock (with silver gilding). Nice, modern-looking artwork. But where this deck shines is... that the cards are colour-coded so one can easily identify stop, movement, connector cards etc which is SUPER helpful when doing a Kipper reading. Being experienced card-readers themselves, the creators made sure that this deck is not just aesthetically pleasing but perfectly usable. In the guidebook, Toni has explained the meanings of the cards and how to read simple spreads in a very simple and practical way. The only thing you won't find in this book is information about the Grand Tableau... but given that this is just a deck companion and the GT is quite complex to explain in a few pages...it is totally understandable why the author decided to skip this part. However, since the GT is a very important and all-inclusive deck, I would have liked to see it mentioned together with recommendations on sources that could someone turn to to further their study of the system. (Minus 0.5 stars for that.) If interested in Kipper reading, I would highly recommend getting this deck. It can be very useful for seasoned and beginner readers alike!

The Rainbow Kipper deck and guidebook set is a wonderful introduction to Kipperkarten, a German form of Cartomancy similar to Petite Jeu Lenormand that uses some directional cues for interpretations!
The straightforward guidebook and simple color-coded cards with silver-gilded edges make it easy for beginners like me to quickly start Reading Kipper.
The only things I wanted that wasn't included in this set were: 1) More Spreads, such as Kipper-specific instructions for Reading the Grand Tableau (using all 36 cards) 2) Images/comparisons between the modern and original cards, especially regarding directionality, so I have more info on how the cards would interact in a larger spread like the Grand Tableau
