Outstanding!
"Intimacy," Eden and Donny's story was a great addition (?) to the Rose Series. Having all of my favorite characters back, especially Karrina (mi chica loca!) only added to the greatness of the story. Eden was beautiful and broken. She put on a facade that no one saw through...until Donny. He saw her pain because to him, it was like looking into a mirror.

Disclaimer- While this book is a standalone story, I highly recommend reading the first two books in the Rose series for more background on these characters.
What happens when two people recovering from childhood trauma fall in love? Intimacy weaves a tale of two people harden by life into a beautiful love story of survival and resilience.
Eden does not believe in any form of intimacy, men are just for sexual gratification to meet her immediate needs. Her life changes when she decides to be a bridesmaid at her estranged sister's wedding where she meets the best man Donny. Eden embarks on a one-night stand with Donny not knowing that their lives will be eventually become intertwined through friendships and family. Donny who is fighting his own demons sees the potential in Eden and desires an intimacy that Eden is resistant towards providing.
While this story follows the traditional love story, the author takes you on the journey of each character's path towards healing. There's no illusion that love will heal past trauma but that healing is an ongoing journey.
This book will take you on a roller coaster of emotions and maybe triggering for someone with past trauma. I loved the first two books in this series and this book is an excellent addition. This was definitely a five-star read.

Wow.! What a great book. I have been following this author since the old Wattpad days and always enjoyed her stories. This one is no different. I did have to skim over the previous books to refresh my mind on who Donny and Eden were as I had forgotten. Once I remembered I am so glad that they story got to be told. I will just have to add Donny to the pile of fictional boyfriend that I have accumulated. I loved the characters especially Donny. I enjoyed the dialogue between the characters. There were some beautiful quotes in the book that I also highlighted. One of the things that I love when reading is character development which this book did have. I like to flow of the book and found it easy to read. Overall this was a great book that I would recommend to friend and can’t wait to see what else this author releases later on.

I've been waiting for about a year to read this book and I am happy to report that the book did not disappoint. Since its release I have read this book three times, unable to put it down with each read. Donny and Eden definitely have a steamy romance as their road to the finish line was pretty rocky yet rewarding. I commend the author for digging deep and tackling mental illness and sexual abuse as she did. I was not expecting the twist and turns at all! I also enjoyed the link of both books 2 & 3 and for what it's worth....we all need a friend like Karrina in our corner 😂.
Ms. Fortae, I am looking forward to your next book. I am a fan 😊.

Eden & Donovan's Intimacy
This book was an amazing read. It put me on an emotional roller coaster. I laughed, cried, got angry and wanted to beat someone's ass lol. The revelations from Donovan and Eden hit me right in the heart and explains alot about why they are the way they are. I waited a while for this book, but it was well worth the wait and it didn't disappoint. Thanks for letting us in to your world of writing. This book is a must read my sister Claudia and I love all 3 of your books. 💯🔥👑♥️💕⭐📚

Loved it!!!! Reading Intimacy makes me want to go back revisit the first two books in the series! The story is intense, the characters are intense and the sex....well, let me say it has me looking for my real life Donovan! Damn!! I'm kind of attached to these characters and I will do my best to annoy Ms. Fortae into giving us another book in the series quickly! But, this book was worth the wait! I can't wait for the next. Now let me get back to imagining finding my own Donovan....

Love!!
This is a very emotional book. I read the 2 series first and then this one, and it was not what I expected. Both characters experienced some rough patches growing up and... well I don’t want to ruin it for the next reader, but this book is beyond good. I would give it more stars!

Wow. There were some twists and turns you never expected. I loved Donovan’s character so much. He was complicated but his love endured. I had to summon patience with Eden’s character. I understood her background contributed a lot to how she behaved but it was still annoying at some times. I’m glad there was a HEA and some of the other characters seem very intriguing. I wouldn’t mind reading more about Rina and Chris or Tonito and Kya. I think I’m good on Eden and her story.

Misshapen Pieces
They are two misshapen pieces to quote Donovan that is imperfectly perfect. For Eden it was supposed to be a one night stand with “ no kisses”, but he kissed her and that changed things. She left and run without a goodbye. Two years later fate placed them together, again… she will fight tooth and nail not get in a relationship with Donovan, and he will do whatever it takes to be part of her life, even friendship. He saw things that others can see in her, he recognized deep sorrowful pain hidden in her, because he too went through hell and back.
Donny is the light that will dragged Eden out of darkness.
I love the family unit that the Corteses have and the children always get me… their interaction, their personalities. wow
I felt bad for Daryl… I know he brought it on himself, but still…
Sandra, that woman is beyond evil. And Vanessa and Co 😡😡😡
Egypt is a product of her mother… so Sandra is responsible in my book for that sh**
At one point I thought Kenneth was getting away with sh** and I was kind of angry! 😂

⚠️Triggers! This book is not an easy read but its worth it!
This story is very intense and may be hard for some to follow. Donovan and Eden are scorching!🔥 The intensity is real! So are their traumas. The author did a beautiful job of bringing two broken people that suffered from child abuse together. Donovan identified with Edens issues and saw the signs that lead to her destructive behavior. However, Eden was too ashamed to reveal her secrets to anyone and failed to reach out for help. Donovan wanted to heal her. However, still trying to cope with his own unresolved issues. He wanted her so bad that he became consumed. The book becomes even more dark, which may trigger some people. It takes for Eden to go through so much and damn near lose her mind until she experiences a full breakthrough, which leads to their HEA. Great book! Will have you tearing a little.

Very gripping and emotional read Eden growing up in a family as the black sheep shown no love so unable to give it back to anyone. Confused by the love of Donovan who truly understands what she has been and is going through. Can not wait for what's to come next.

This was such a beautiful story! I am gaining an understanding of what it means for someone who has suffered abuse (mental and/or physical) especially during childhood which is quite traumatic. Eden has been so destroyed by her "adopted" family and the surprise near the end about that so called "family" has brought forth issues as well as questions that have been answered in the book. I am so glad that Donny (what a man!) and Eden have their HEA! Long overdue for an HEA! Whew!

Eden FINALLY got the family she DESERVED!
This woman went all her life thinking she was adopted. WHAT?? Then she endured such tragic events and lived a life not becoming of a lady. During one of those moments she meets Donny and I'm glad she did. He helped her get the life she she wanted and deserved. Liked the series even did a reread of books one and two. Book three took a little while to get to the meat and potatoes but we got to a HEA.

A compelling story
So this book was actually really interesting it’s a compelling story it has romance but definitely a lot of drama and it also shows how much women have to overcome in general with people in their life whether it’s close family or friends
