The Sweetest Love brings the Love Conquers All series full circle. Wow, there so much to like about this book.
I enjoyed the journey the author laid out for Adam West and Roxanna Harris. It was anything but easy. When trauma hits the West family, Abby, left with an illness and the family's lives changed forever. Roxy and Abby forge an unbreakable bond and becomes sort of a light for the West family. With all the attention on Abby and her illness, Adam feels demoted in the family tree. Growing up, Adam found it difficult to separate his feelings; between being the proud, protective, and doting brother vs. being resentful of the attention missed with their parents.
Years later, Roxy and Adam get reacquainted during the annual memorial for Abby. The attraction is immediate, but the history and past experiences put their relationship in a timid state. Adam is a successful attorney and selective about who he dates and commits to, but Mrs. Brenda is determined to hurrying it alone with blind dates. Ms. Reba has instilled in Roxy the importance of being independent and careful not to be swept up in a man's charm. Add a silly girlfriend pack puts this budding romance at risk. The author keeps you engage as all this enfolds.
What I like most about The Sweetest Love is Roxy discovering she had sisters from her estranged father. The estranged father was a story all in itself. I loved how the closure, acceptance, and ease in which they all bonded, creating that unique family dynamic.
While each book can stand alone, I've included a list if you would like to get familiar with all the characters.
I love this series and I loved this book! Roxy and Adam went through a lot but I loved them together. So happy that Roxy got to meet her sisters and got to tell her Dad off. He really needs to get a life and leave those girls alone! I could not put this book down! Roxy and Adam make a great couple and I loved their chemistry. 🙂🙂
This book goes to show that you never know what someone is going through! Not only Roxy - Reba, Donna, Adam and Mrs. West too! Everyone has their own battles and being nice to someone does not cost anything. Take the journey with Roxy and Adam, you won't be disappointed! Hats off to Suzette Riddick for another great read!
Love hits us at different times in life. Even relationships as youngsters has an affect on our adult love relationships. Roxy and Adam realized how previous relationships had an impact on their relationship. This was a true love story which I couldn't put down. I highly recommend The Sweetest Love.
Wow! I absolutely loved this book and the entire series! Roxy and Adam shared a lifetime of love, hurt and the loss of a loved one. Somehow, through fate, that loss brought them back together that forged a relationship and a strong connection that even with the discontent of bearing an unnecessary breakup, their love still endured!
I loved the way the families all came together despite their history! I laughed and cried throughout this story! It was just that good!! This is an excellent book and series! If you haven’t read this yet, I highly recommend that you grab your copies, sit back and enjoy the journey! Kudos, Suzette!! 💜💃🏽💜
Enjoy the plot. I thought it was labeled as a Christian read, but the language that flowed debunked that notion. Life time best friends, the late Abbie and bestie Roxanna had a solid friendship. Now Abbie's brother is crushing on Roxy. Poor Roxy's life is challenged by her birth father. This book did cause me to stop and pray for the countless women and children that endure this type of situation in real life. An engaging story line as it closely reflects current societal ills. The secondary family in this story are some admirable folks, and they enjoin Roxy and her mother right into their lives without reservation. Love is a dominant characteristic that you will find in the Sweetest Love.
Excellent read, I enjoyed the characters and storyline. Adam and Roxy connected through common lost. His sister Abby was Roxy’s childhood best friend, who died when she was approximately ten years old. Adam and Roxy reconnected as adults and their attraction was undeniable. They both have baggage from their past to work through. But true love conquers all.
This was a love story about Roxanna Harris and Adam West. They've been friends since childhood, she best friend to his sister Abigail. Over the years they lost contact then reconnected and slowly because lovers. Due to a misunderstanding they parted ways and led miserable lives until along came their happily ever after.
In spite of a dead beat dad and husband two families came together as one. An old acquaintance becomes a new love. Love that Reba found a man and I think a good one this time. She deserves it.
You know a book is good when you laugh and cry in at lease four different chapters Abbey's illness Reba being abused and Roxy and Adam finding love in spite of all. I recommend The Love Conquers All the Series
This book was ok,but it had several blatant errors. There were name changes and typos that were should have been corrected. It would have been nice to see more happen to Harold.
This entire series, "Love Conquers All" was an excellent parable of forgiveness! The author has renewed my faith that LOVE can and will conquer everything!
