This is an OK paranormal romance novella, in the Real Men Romance series. It was very short, so there wasn't time for as much character development as I normally like. It gets 3 stars from me.
I liked both Caspian and Nyx, and thought they were good together. I liked that he was willing to do whatever was needed to make her happy, and that he supported her when she finally stood up to her controlling mother.
I wanted more backstory on both Caspian and Nyx, but especially on Caspian. He had been a vampire for many years, but the story gave very little information about his past. His family was mentioned in passing, but I wanted a lot more detail. I think it would have helped me to understand him more.
I did wish that this novella had contained an epilogue, so that the reader could see how Caspian/Nyx were doing several months (or even years) later. In this story, they mated, she finally stood up to her mother, and then it was over.
My main problem with this novella is that it was just very short. I prefer longer books, so that there is room for more character development. This novella features instalove, and has sex scenes, but that is typical of paranormal romances.
My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.
3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating.
4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one.
5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.

The Vampire’s Pixie by Moxie North is a 5 star read.
NYC Shae-Lynn is a fairy but she was born with a wing defect that has left her unable to fly, feeling like she didn’t fit in her family especially with an overbearing mother, NYC set out to make her own way, she wasn’t expecting to find out that her “consort” would be a vampire, can a fairy and a Vampire make things work?
Caspian Nicolaides is a vampire and a lawyer, he’s been sent by his master to the courtroom but instead smells his “beloved” after walking out of court before the case starts he hunts down is mate to start their life together.
Can a vampire and a fairy be true mates and will Nyx and Caspian get everyone on board?
I loved this story but it wasn’t long enough for me, I could read about this pair for days.

This is Caspian and Nix's story . Deciding to watch a trial Nix sits in the back to watch and hope that all her work would help the outcome . Caspian enters the courtroom and sits when the scent of his mate hits him hard . Even though this case was important he has to leave and follow the scent and the woman whom had run out of the courtroom ! Nix's wings are acting up so badly that she takes off and heads to an empty file room hoping to settle them down . Cap follows and once they touch both know that they have meet their mate ! I love the way this author wrote this one ! This is well written and recommended to all !!

Floating on air
I love it! This book is cute, engaging, and absolutely amazing. The characters are fantastic and endearing, and kept me enthralled throughout the book. I love the sweetness of Nyx, and the way finding her mate gives her the confidence to take matters into her own hands. And Caspian, just yumm! The moment he scented his mate he knew she was a show stopper and he wore her love with pride. The author did an amazing job of creating a story that fit perfectly in Othcross and yet was uniquely its own. I enjoyed reading this book from the beginning to the end, and I hope the author will be writing more stories to send our way soon.

Nyx is a fairy who, due to a birth defect, can’t fly. She has forged her own life but she has insecurities. She is visiting a court room when her wings start to play up so she rushes out.
Caspian, a three hundred plus year old vampire feels his beloved in the court room and rushes after her.
A vampire and a fairy are not your normal mating, but that is just fine with them.
The play between Nyx and her brothers and between Caspian and her brothers was such fun I was laughing out loud repeatedly. I really hope there will be a follow-up book with their stores in, please!

Very enjoyable and well blended in addition to the REAL MEN OF OTHERCROSS world of Celia Kyle.
Liked both main characters Nyx and Caspian, they were a perfect blend and balance.
Poor Nyx, how worried she was about her family’s acceptance of Caspian, who was really calm and cool.
Loved the last chapter, made me laugh.
Her immature brothers on the other hand, so funny when they hired Kace and Enzo. I hope they get some grief when they find their Consorts.
This is my honest review of this book.

I loved it!! Her bros r real assholes that can't take a hint but they think it's out of love like protecting but they cross the line a few xs. Even though he's supposed 2 b in court he finds his mate a very unexpected surprise. Between them love comes fast and strong. I hope her best friend gets a mate asap!! She didn't care 4 her mom cause she was different and always been treated differently but when it comes 2 her mate things change 4 the better and things surprise her where her family is concerned.

Another great addition to the Real Men world! It's one of those books you want to finish once you start. Who would've thought a fairy and a vamp would be fated mates well in this story they are and not everyone is pleased which makes for some laughing moments in the story. It's a fun love story that you'll love. I hope some of the characters we meet get their own stories, have a feeling they would be just as fun (and for some of them even more so)!

Very Sweet!
I was a little unsure how this story was going to work but it came together nicely with just the right amount of fun and laughter! It kind of reminded me of a lot of “mixed” relationships and how they work....had a real smile at the end...recommend this book to young adults and those young at heart

I was happy Nyx didn't let her body shaming mom affect her too much. Caspian saw past physical limits to Nyx's heart and I liked that. Nyx's brothers were immature ignorant little twirps that needed leashes and hot a little payback. Lol. Why does it take so long for Nyx's parents to wise up and honestly chastise the two boys??!! I enjoyed Nyx and Caspian.

Great addition to this series!!! This was unlikely pairing but I loved how Nyx stood up for her man and how Caspian always had her back. Overall this was a great read also even though Nyx brothers were a major pain I really hope they get there own book. His Pixie Her Vampire
What a cute story! I loved it! It's a fast read, just what I needed. ..nobody has heard of a fairy vampire mating in a very, very long time. But Nyx and Caspian changed that. It's funny listening to be the family, especially her brother's talk about the mating ..it's a must read!

A sweet read!
This was a sweet addition to the series! I loved the instant connection between Nyx and Caspian. Their chemistry sizzle from their first contact and it doesn’t stop from their. A cute storyline with a HEA made for an enjoyable read from start to finish. Can’t wait for more of this new Real Men Romance series!

Such a sweet read
The story was such a sweet read! It almost makes you wish that this was how you met your significant other in real life! The character build up is really sweet the romance between the two characters is even sweeter. This humor throughout the story to keep it moving and also a sweet ending!

Cute story
I thought this was a really cute story. I liked her father. He had the best outlook and acceptance of his daughter just the way she was. Having her mother change in her daughters eye was fantastic. The brothers were really not the sharpest fairies. It would be great if life was like this and you just knew who you were supposed to be with and no doubts were involved.

Yup.
It’s another unusual pairing in this spin off series of the Real Men.
Nyx likes fashion and Caspian (not necessarily in that order). Oh, and she can’t fly.

This was a fun story to read! It's an instalove but the chemistry is through the roof and you can feel it. I really got drawn into the characters and the different facets of the society they live in. It was a fun quick read I would suggest to anyone. This is my honest opinion of this title.

Nyx and Caspian were the most unlikely pairing for obvious reasons and it worked to perfection. I was completely engaged in their story which had equal parts humor and sexy romance. I have completely enjoyed the Real Men of Other cross and look forward to more from the inhabitants of this place.

First, I really liked Nyx. She didn't let a so-called defect define her. Instead she lived her life by her rules. Then there is Caspian. He knew Nyx was his and nothing else mattered. Great read. I received an Advance Reader's Copy of this book which I am voluntarily
