Rescue Us (Next Generation #7) is Cyrus's story. I loved every story in this series. The characters are addictive. I loved meeting Ainsley in this one. She was a very compelling character with a heart of gold. The aspect of her using sign language to speak was quite interesting. Ainsley and Cyrus are so sweet together, yet tantalizing and sensual moments drenched through the pages. The plot keeps you turning the pages and craving more. The ending was cherry on the top. I'm looking forward Sammy's story next.

Oh Cyrus. I may be wanting to claim you for my own. I have fallen in love with many of JM’s men but since Garrith in her very first series, no one had captured my heart like you have.
Cyrus is patience like I have never known. When he sees Ainsley, he knows she might be what he is looking for. He realized that whoring around with Sammy and having one-night stands was not doing it for him anymore. He wants what his parents had. He wants one woman to make him happy. He wants the other half to his tormented soul.
Ainsley…what a back story. She is broken. She is battered. She is the shell of her former self. When she meets Cyrus, she sees a glimmer of “Maybe” with him. He is kind, loving, sweet, understanding, and everything she needs to overcome her trauma.
The two start to see where things go and work on her trust and comfort. The main problem is Sammy. He is so worried about losing his brother he does tend to cause a few issues. Plus, Ainsley fears she is being stalked. She knows her past may be catching up with her and doesn’t know what to do to stay safe and keep Cyrus safe.
The two have a powerful dynamic. They both fall for the other hard and fast but the trust and emotional safety they build is amazing. The chemistry is off the charts for the couple. I admit I didn’t want the story to end and cant wait to see more of them in Sammy’s book.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I just have to say I love this series and we finally get Cyrus' story. I did not want to put this book down. We know Cyrus through the series. He is a strong protector with a big wall around his heart. No woman is getting in. Then he meets Ainsley at The Dove Center. It is a help center started by the wives we met in the King's Harlots series. The help victims of trafficking.
Ainsley had escaped her captors and was now trying to heal at the center. She hasn't spoken, it was her way of maintaining control. She was fluent in ASL before and now it is how she speaks. When Cyrus sets eyes on her he feels something he has never felt before. She too has feelings that she thought she would never have.
The chemistry for this couple is steamy yet sweet. Cyrus chose Ainsley over his twin, Sammy. He was going to protect at all costs, especially when her past comes back for her. I love this MC. It is small and tight-knit. They are always there for each other even though they are broken people. They push forward and become more whole. The story kept me on my toes waiting for an attack. I hated when I had to take a break in reading because I was so into the plot. We really need Sammy's story asap. There is an ongoing storyline but I guess it could be read alone. Trust me it is much better in order. If you want well developed characters, people you care about and plots that hook you early start this series.

What an emotional gut wrenching book this was.
I was brought to tears and my heart broke for Ainsley.
But that beautiful girl was so much stronger than she believed or gave herself credit for.
Going from victim to survivor in it of itself takes pure inner strength and determination.
But she also surpassed that to also be a guide and helper for other victims.
Cyrus wow what an absolutely beautiful man he is.
Not just in outwardly appearance but on the inside as well.
So kind, caring and considerate.
But he also has a sense of presence and a vibe and energy that commands authority and respect.
I think those qualities is what drew Ainsley to him.
Deep down in her soul she felt and knew she would always feel safe with him and around him.
I loved seeing their relationship bloom and blossom.
Seeing it budding and growing fixed my broken heart and warmed my soul.
Getting to witness their fulfillment of finding their true love and soulmate was something that felt so special and so intimate and endearing.
Cyrus and Ainsley’s journey was like a testament of what true love is.
No matter your past or your heartache and pain your ride or die is searching for you.
And this exactly was what their story is.
Through all their anguish and loss their hearts and souls found each other.

Not sure I have ever read a story about two broken, yet beautiful people.
I finally grabbed book 7 and dove right into Cyrus’ and Ainsley story. Cyrus is one patient man, kind, caring yet protective as heck. His past is no sunshine and rainbows that is for sure, but he is just taking life day by day. He is looking for his women, tired of all the one-night stands. She is out there....but where?
Along comes Ainsley. She is working at the center trying to put her life back together - which isn’t easy after the he** she has endured. Being scared of your own shadow and life in general makes life pretty darn hard. She uses ASL to communicate after choosing not to give her voice to anyone - she trusts no one.
I absolutely loved the way these two characters bonded! A slow and steady relationship. That is what they both need. Time and patience are key, however there are a few times Cyrus gets a little pushy (not physical). She needs a man to help her out of her shell - and he needs a woman to help break down the walls around his heart. A perfect match!
The only thing I did not like in this story is the term pet. Yes, I know it is used as a term of endearment in the BDSM world - but for me, it is something that makes me cringe. This is just a personal preference, nothing against the author and/or storyline.

Ainsley went through a ton in her life she was taken and held against her will in a brothel that did the unimaginable to her and causing her to quit talking completely to her it was her safe home and helped her survive. She was now working at the center and was offered to teach American Sign Language, to others since that was her form of speaking, and Ainsley loved it, but she still had to look behind her back and watch out because some of the men that took her escaped and would want to come after her. Cyrus wasn’t one to fall for a women he was just helping the club, fighting when he needed to release some tension and going to the bar with his brother. That was until he saw sweet Ainsley and she as gonna make this biker fall to his knees and he wouldn’t even knew what hit him. Will these two help each other face their demons of their past and help each other trust someone or will the demons get their way and send them into a pit that they will never get out of. Oh this story grabbed my heart and held on i loved these characters and their story is just what you would need.

Ainsley managed to escape her captors but it has left her severely broken. She has been mute for years. She is teaching ASL at the Center and they have also helped her find a place to live. Cyrus is fighting demons of his own but one day, while at The Center, he meets Ainsley. Now he can't keep his mind off of the silent girl from The Center. He doesn't know it yet, but Ainsley can't stop thinking about Cyrus either.
Oh my, Cyrus was, gah, he was absolutely perfect. I loved everything about him. My new favorite JM hero. He may very well be my most favorite Hero EVER! He was kind, gentle, and extremely patient. He let Ainsley have the control, something he knew she needed. That was sweet, selfless, and sexy AF!
I am loving this series! I am always excited for the next book to be released but I know I'm going to be sad when the final book ends. I'm not sure how she even manages it but each book in this series is better than the last and I seriously cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

Wow, JM Walker does it again!!!! The seventh book in the Next Generation series is a must read. She has teased this book for months, and it was definitely worth the wait!!!
Cyrus and Ainsley's story is one of my favorites in this series. He is just the man she needs to bring her out of her shell. She has a tragic heartbreaking past. She hasn't talked in years. Doesn't feel safe even though she was rescued a few years ago. I absolutely love Cyrus!!! He was definitely not what I was expecting.
Not as much action and violence as the other books, but its just as good.
This is a must read series and I recommend them all. Start at the beginning and enjoy this amazing group.

OMG, where to begin! I couldn’t wait to read this book and now it’s over. JM Walker did it again she wrote another book that I know I will read over and over again. I love this story and all the emotions I went through reading it, it’s just so wonderful. Be sure to have tissues, beverages and all breakable items out of read when you read this book.
I love Cyrus and Ainsley as a couple they were definitely meant to be. Their love story is absolutely one of my top favorites in this series and I can’t wait to catch up with them in future books.
In this book JM Walker tackles some hard topics with delicate grace and it makes this book all the more amazing. It’s a wonderful love story but also a story of twin brothers who and their bond.

This Story is EVERYTHING!! I don't know how many times my eyes welled up with tears while reading this book, seeing Cyrus finally get his story meant everything to me.
I feel like i have known these characters in my own life, THAT is how well J.M Walker writes her characters.
I was totally sucked into this book from the very first page and kept my attention till the very end.
Watching Cyrus and his brother Sammy's relationship go through turmoil broke my heart, but in the end everything worked out the way it was intended,
Ainsley, WOW, her story tore my heart apart but the connection her and Cyrus has is beautiful and so very honest you can't help but to fall in love with them both.

I want to start with I absolutely love this series and am super excited that we get Cyrus' story. He is nothing like I thought he would be based on the snippets we got in the other books. Ainsley has been through a living hell and after escaping that she does not trust anyone completely but there is something about Cyrus that draws her to him. Neither expected the feelings they have, and it was wonderful to see Cyrus being so patient with her. The twin bond between Sammy & Cyrus is tested as well as the trust being built between Ainsley & Cyrus. This story was definitely worth the wait and from the glimpses we get I cannot wait for Sammy’s story to unfold.

I don't think I've loved a book by this author as much as this since Broken Scars.
I never thought she'd be able to top that and then this book comes along nudging that bar.
To be completely honest, I went into this book worried as I knew the brother's bedroom tastes, and while yes that was a part of this book, it was everything else that kept me on the edge of my seat, pulling at my heart strings.
If I say much more I'll just start rambling and I'll start giving away crucial details about the characters or plot as wow.
Definitely earnt a spot on my top reads of '22 list, and no matter what your tastes are, highly recommend this book to anyone.

Ainsley and Cyrus’ story was everything I needed for these two. It was action-packed, thrilling, extremely entertaining and so very steamy. Once I started their story, I couldn’t put it down! I needed to absorb everything they were going to give me. The connection they have was intense and undeniable and their sexual chemistry – WOW! These two kept me riveted to my seat, fanning myself continually to cooldown, and biting my nails with anticipation of what was going to happen next. It was an emotional rollercoaster ride that I never wanted to end.
I loved every second of this story and I can’t wait to see what J.M. brings us next.

Cyrus is everything I had hoped for and more! He's the perfect hero and the most perfect love interest for Ainsley.
I've been eagerly waiting for Cyrus's book (as well as Sammy's) for a while now and I'm so glad he found someone he can call his own. When JM first announced that Cyrus and Sammy are Dom's, I knew it would be roles that fit them perfectly.
JM Walker always gives me the men I aspire to have in my life someday. Men who would burn down the world to save the woman they love. Can't wait to read the rest of this series. I'll be sad to see it end, but know that it will be a series I'll never forget.

And just when I thought JM Walker couldn’t write a better book. This book just made me love her even more. Find out how a survivor can find happiness and learn that not all men are monsters. You will see a hard broken biker find peace with a survivor of horrible things. They rescued each other from their own demons. Cyrus and Ainsley was meant to be together and this is their story. I loved being able to feel every word, every emotion, every fear and every ounce of pain from reading this book. Thank you JM for another wonderful book.

Throughout the previous stories we have seen glimpses of Cyrus and his ability to care for others but in his story we see far beyond the surface level. Rescuing Ainsley has become the balm to his hidden self and exploring her limits, and his own, raises the emotional impact on both. Finding out more about the twin bond between himself and Sammy (can't wait for that story!) and feeling the tested truths just makes him more desirable. Neither Cyrus nor Ainsley have it easy, but their struggles bring them closer together.

Wow!!! I absolutely fell head over heels in love with these two! Talk about blowing a story out of the water! I’m almost at a lost for words with how much I love this book. It consumed me. The moments I had to put it down, I thought about these characters almost constantly and was just waiting to get back to reading. All I can say is that if you’re thinking of picking this one up, stop thinking and just start reading it! Chemistry✔️ Angst✔️ Hot✔️✔️

omg this one is very much an emotional read. if you don't like story's with potential triggers you may not want to read it but I really recommend you do read this story.
Cyrus and Ainsley story is one that will make you melt and still make you want more. I do recommend that you read this series in order because it's helpful with the crew from the next generation. but know each is fully their own story.

I have yet to read a JM book that didn't leave me with the best kind of book hangover, my soul ripped out and heart hurting....in the best of ways....until now. Definitely not a bad thing, this one was a lighter read from JM, I thought. I absolutely love Cyrus and Ainsley's story, and Ainsley overcomes so much with Cyrus' help and Cyrus finally finds peace in her arms. We also get a sneak peak into Sammy's struggles and I cannot wait for his book. I have loved every book in this series.

This book gave me all the feels. Cyrus is the fantasy come to life. He’s big, tattooed, pierced biker bad boy, and a white knight dom to boot. He takes one look at Ainsley and falls and I loved that. Ainsley is a warrior survivor, and Cyrus gives her, her voice back. I laughed, I cried. This book will give you all you need, it’s way steamy!! It has the romance and a little jealousy from Cyrus and Ainsley but also Sammy which I loved. I can’t wait for Sammy’s book!

I love ALL the Next Generation Books. This one is one of my top favorites. I loved it so much I have now read it 3xs (LOL) Cyrus is just so amazing, he sets the bar super high. My heart breaks for Sammy and I can't wait to read his story. Ainsley is a firecracker! Her back story tore me up. They complimented each other nicely and the sex was ....WOW!!! Don't want to ruin it for anyone but make sure you have a fan and some ice water on hand....YOWZERS

Cyrus is an amazing kind, gentle, patient potential killer of a man, lol. I love both sides of him, and this book just gives you more of his deliciousness.
The addition of their relationship with Sammy and the other MC members and wives was great to see. I'm just going to say "first date" and leave it at that.

Well she's done it again! She's written a beautiful, emotional, heartbreaking story that pulls every emotion possible from her readers. In writing Cyrus and Ainsley's story, she's taken a sensitive subject and made us a part of everything this could feels and goes through. Get your kleenex ready, you're gonna need them. What a fantastic journey Miss Walker has gifted us with!

I really loved Ainsley and Cyrus. Ainsley has a tragic and dark past but Cyrus was just the man for her. He’s patient and gentle. I would have liked to see more of the dom/submissive relationship but I have a feeling we will see more of that in Sammy’s book. Great story that pulled at my heartstrings .

Rescue Us is book seven in the Next Generation and is Cyrus and Ainsley's book. This book was intense and so emotional. This book was worth all the emotions that I went through. This series can be a,standalone but i really recommend reading from book one.

First off, WOW! I LOVED this read! The chemistry between these two was absolutely phenomenal. I was hooked from the start. I want a Cyrus in my life. Beautiful. The JM moment had me worried that I was going to have to scream at the book. I thoroughly enjoy a book that has me in the feels.

Wow. What a rollercoaster ride. Didn’t see the twists coming. Cyrus is one complicated man. He knows what he wants and doesn’t stop until he gets it. Ainsley is one amazing woman. She has been through more than anyone should have to go through. Can’t wait to read more.
