Brogan Tapp tries to be strong. Guilt and fear that the man she loves will fall within himself and not know how to find his way out, haunts her. Coby Porter vows not to let the demons in his mind take over. He plans a trip to save his relationship, once and for all. Hope Town, Georgia is the saving grace for their love, before the nightmares consume them both.
J.M. Walker, a Canadian author, is an Amazon bestseller who also hit USA Today with Wanted: An Outlaw Anthology. She loves all things books, pigs and lip gloss. She is happily married to the man who inspires all of her Heroes and continues to make her weak in the knees every single day.
"Above all, be the HEROINE of your own life..." ~ Nora Ephron
Don't read this until you've read "Rude", book 4 in the King's Harlots series by J.M. Walker. Why? Because although this is a good read on it's own, it becomes a great read when you truly understand the meaning within this story.
REVIEW -
What do you say about a story that you've been fantasizing about since you finished the novel? I mean, for those of us who read Rude, we've been dying to know how Coby and Brogan were going to get through life with everything that's happened to them. This right here.....it's everything! Let me break down my emotions for you...
Tears. Joy. Tears. Mouth hanging open, hitting the floor. Laughter. Love. More tears. And then nothing but smiles.
Why is my review so cryptic? Because it's a special read and I'm not going to be the person to ruin any of the surprises.
I will touch on this though. I haven't read some of the other books within this compilation. In fact, I haven't read the book that bridges this story with it. But it was done so well, that I now HAVE to read that other book. Just to meet the other Corp men. I mean, two of them own and work at a men's club where they Coyote Ugly it on the bar. How bad can it be?
*I received this book from the author in exchange for my honest opinion.
Fans of the Corps Security and Hope Town series by Harper Sloan will just love this spin off twist. Hope Town, Georgia holds meaning for a lot of different people. What happens when those folks cross paths with all our favorite alpha males and the even stronger women supporting them? Readers get a real treat! These could be read as stand alone novellas in their own right. But what a lovely tribute to the Hope Town gang to have these authors not only introduce us to new characters, but to have them interact with characters we are already so familiar with. Really well done by all the authors. Great little surprise reads!
For You
I found myself needing MORE of this story. Not that that is a bad thing. I just felt I wanted to read the back story on this couple. Obviously, Coby and Brogan have a tortured history. Hope Town becomes the saving grace not only for the couple, but for the ability for their hearts to heal. Corps Security plays a role in this one but we also get to see Sway and his staff as they spread their sunshine on Brogan. Another new to me author but I will be looking up her back list for sure.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
Brogan Tapp tries to be strong. Guilt and fear that the man she loves will fall within himself and won't be able to fin his way back to her haunts her. Coby Porter vows to never let the demons in his mind take over. He plans a trip to save his relationship once and for all. Hope Town, Georgia is the saving grace for their love before the nightmares consume them both.
For You is about two characters from J.M. Walker's King Harlot Series. I have read all those books but I feel like you will be ok to read this book as a standalone. Though I do recommend those books because they are simply amazing. Rude is the book that is about Coby and Brogan in the series just in case you do want to go and read the entire story or why they need to be in Hope Town, Georgia to save their relationship.
Brogan and Coby have always been the most fascinating characters in the series to me. Simply because they were so quiet but when I got their story in Rude I was such an emotional mess for a while. I don't know that many couples could survive what Brogan and Coby have gone through. I know I would probably be a mess all the time but I'm not a super strong character in a book. This story is so hard to review because I feel like it needs to be experienced. For those of us who know Coby and Brogan or heck even if you don't know them well you will have so many emotions in this book. They are living their live but not really. They have demons hanging over their heads. They have to learn to open up to each other or they are going to destroy the most beautiful things in each others lives. For You is the perfect ending to their story and I fell they got a much deserved happily ever after.
I am a huge J.M Walker fan. She writes the most amazing stories and keeps them coming. For You is no exception. I love all of the Kings Harlot series crowd. They are like old friends your going to be around for the rest of your life and I'm so happy that I can feel better about Brogan and Coby now
I was given a copy of this book by the author for an honest review.
I've not read the King Harlots series by J.M. Walker. If you're in this same boat you should be ok reading this novella and not be totally lost.
We have Coby and Brogan who are a couple struggling to find their footing in their relationship. I take it there was something horrible that happened to them but they're working through it in this novella. One of the best parts in this book is the appearance of Matteo from Beautiful Pain. He's one of my favorite characters and his no nonsense approach to his clients cracks me up.
So Matteo is helping Coby and Brogan through their ordeal in counseling. He suggests to Coby that he make his feelings for Brogan known. Coby takes this advice and in a big way.
It's the glue that's going to help repair what went wrong with their relationship and catapult them to the next level. I enjoyed reading about these characters. I wasn't lost not reading the other books in the series. It was fun and quick to read. Of course the author included some characters from the Corps Security series by Harper Sloan. Which was neat to see and read their interaction with Coby.
Never in my life have I wanted to read every single book involved in A Kindle Worlds!!! I love the concept behind Kindle worlds because it introduces readers to new authors and book series they might not have had the chance to get to know... Ahhhhh Onto Coby and Brogan!!! This story couldn't have been more perfect... Coby and Brogan has been through so much in their lives, separate AND together it's a surprise they have the strength to battle the day to day, but..... they have each other and that seems to make everything livable at the moment... Misunderstandings and secrets can tear them apart unless they learn to open up and actual communicate their wants and needs. J.M Walker knocks it out of the park with For You!!! I laughed, swooned, cursed, cried and needed a cold shower while reading the steamy scenes!!!! Whooo boy Coby!!!!! #CP for life baby!!!
I haven't read anything from JM Walker before but I now have her King's Harlots series on my kindle to read!
From the sounds of it Coby and Brogan have obviously been through so much, something so traumatic that they are floundering, stuck in limbo not really living or healing. After a trip to Hope Town to look at a new security firm Corps Security Coby may find something in Hope Town that may give him some Hope.
Love this novella, this is such a beautifully HEA for Coby and Brogan
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review from the author and Inkslinger PR
I liked that Coby could admit his issues, “I know, baby,” he smiled down at me. “That’s one of the many things I love about you but I’m a possessive man, Brogan. I want everyone to know that you’re taken.” When it comes to his woman Coby is easily distracted, “eff it. We can leave in an hour.” In two steps, Coby was on me. With his hands on my *** and his mouth against mine, he pulled me hard against him." Coby had a big heart and would do anything for his girl.
5 TOUCHING STARS!! This was a perfect novella with lots of sexy times, drama, fantastic characters and a touching storyline. Coby and Brogan's story was so touching, that I fell in love with both of them. This author is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors.
Finally, Coby and Brogan get their HEA. I loved them in Rude but this was the perfect ending for their story. J.M. did an incredible job of bringing the Hope Town world and the King's Harlots series together in this novella.
This book was not good in my opinion. This book is a crossover from another series by J. M. Walker. This story was very hard to follow without having read that series. I don't think this book should be read as a standalone. It has a couple, Brogan and Cody, who have already been in a relationship, but have recently undergone tragedy. There is very little back story and it is hard to read between the lines, but it seems like Cody was kidnapped and held captive by a crazy women who chained him up, sexually tortured him and forced him to be submissive to her. This book takes place after that as the couple tries to heal and see if they can still be together.
I felt very little connection to the couple because I hardly knew them. Their relationship did not seem stable as both of them were keeping major secrets from each other. Cody was out every night late and not telling Brogran why. The supposed answer to that was that Cody decided to pursue an adoption of an abused ten year old boy from child protective services after reading an article about him. He doesn't tell Brogran anything until one day he surprises her by taking her with him to bring the boy home. So unrealistic! And being out late every night is not something that leads to adoption. Those services are not open late at night. Just very strange and lots of plot holes.
There was other dramariffic things going on too. Fast forward to Cody and Brogran's wedding. Up pops the plot twist of the stepbrother. He was her first love and first everything so he gave her away at the wedding. He was obviously still in love with her and she said she'd always have feelings for him. Maybe that would have made sense if I had read the other books in the series, but it was an unwelcome, strange addition in this book.
All in all, this book was about a Dom hero, who was kidnapped, chained and sexually abused until he was "broken". He decided the best way to heal himself was to adopt a sexually abused kid and bring him into his rocky relationship, where he became the "glue" to hold their family together. It was too unbelievable.I just did not enjoy it at all.

I'm slightly obsessed with Harper Sloan's world's, from Corps Security to Hope Town. I've been a fan of hers since her beginning and boy does she write with so much heart so when Harper announced her kindle world... I was ecstatic and then that author list was dropped and boom! My heart burst with so much happiness... I knew I had to devour all the words.
Now we are back in her world with our favorites and brand new characters. I knew it would be good...I knew it would be special..I just didn't expect...THIS.
In J.M. Walker's For You, she delivers a powerful and unforgettable romance that will tug at your heart and soul hard. This book and this journey was perfectly penned... addicting, intense, emotional, and a beautiful second chance at a forever that was always meant to be.
Love can heal all, even in its toughest battle yet.
Demons, fears, and their crippling past are tearing them apart, together and individually, but Hope Town might be the chance at their redemption. Brogan and Coby are going to find everything there and then some... These two completely ripped me apart when they started then surely put my back together even better than before by the time they were done.
Gosh I haven't read JM Walker in such a long time but man she's does she kill it with her words. This book is a definite must read in this kindle world.

Coby Porter. That man....... I can't get enough of him. I first fell in love with Coby in Rude which is a part of the King's Harlots Series by J.M. Walker.....And now I love that guy even more.
This novella ventures into the life of both Coby and Brogan. It delves into the aftermath of the destruction they both faced. Both damaged and broken from their pasts, this is their story about moving on. This is their story about the struggles they both face, the fear they both feel, the doubt they both still continue to suffer from. It's their story about finding not only themselves, but each other. It's their story about the monsters that still lurk in their minds. It's their story about healing and overcoming the nightmares that still infest their memories. And it's their story that is off the charts dirty and all things sinfully delicious. Again J.M. Walker has yet again given us perfection with For You. Raw, gritty, heartbreaking and breathtaking, everything you could ask for in a novella. A highly emotional read that will just leave you breathless.
Coby and Brogan, I will miss you guys dearly, but you will both remain in my heart always.
I admit this is the first book of JM Walker’s that I have read, but I also admit it won’t be the last. Even though the full story behind these characters are in her Kings Harlots series, I still feel as though I didn’t miss out. Coby and Brogan are both extremely strong characters that have been hurt deeply and are broken, but trying desperately to put their lives back together. Coby is searching for a new security company to oversee his properties and comes across Corp Security in Hope Town, an hour drive away. Something about this company calls to him and he needs to meet them. After meeting with Axel, Coby decides a weekend getaway in Hope Town is what he and Brogan need. And he couldn’t have been more right. Finding their way back to themselves and each other is definitely what they need...along with a visit to Dirty Dog ;)
JM Walker does a fabulous job interweaving these two worlds and I enjoyed this story so much that I’m going to have to go back and read her series now. I need to know the whole story behind Coby and Brogan. One thing for sure is I love Coby and his deliciously dirty mouth and I need more!

I received a copy of this book for a honest review.
Coby Porter and Brogan are back for a great novella incorporating Harper Sloan's Corp Security in Hope Town, GA.
Coby and Brogan are still working through everything they have endured. a little push from the one and only Dr. Santo's has Coby on a mission. One he is keeping from Brogan who as every woman miss construes things a bit when he is gone and wont tell her everything. Coby is trying to work on him and Brogan to get them back. What he is doing is so heart warming and fives me the feel goods. I never would have expected Coby to do what he is doing but WOW makes my heart flutter.
Watching the interaction between Coby and the Corps Security family is fascinating. I loved seeing the connection Coby has with Hope Town and the military guys. TO see that Brogan was able to sit in the one and only Sway's chair and get a scalp massage was high pitch squeal worthy.
J.M. Walker did a great job of melting her King's Harlot series and Harper Sloan's Corp Security together for this Kindle Worlds. She had my emotions all over the place for a novella she tapped into every emotion and hit them hard. Makes me want more of both series.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader’s Copy of this book OMG!!! I love that we get another glimpse into Coby and Brogan’s relationship. I knew that coming back from what they’d been through was going to be rough, but I really didn't know just how rough. You can tell how much that these two love each other just by what they are willing to do to move on from the past. Seeing Coby mingling with the guys from Corps Security is awesome, it’s almost as if he belongs. I am absolutely amazed at what it is that really pulls Coby back from the abyss, yes Brogan loves him and yes she does everything in her power it get him there, but this one thing is what really does it and makes the two of them whole again. I swear I was crying. Damn you Walker, Novellas are suppose to make you cry!!! Once again I will say how wonderful Walker did writing her characters into Harper Sloan’s Corps Security World!!
For You by JM Walker is part of her Kings Harlots Series and Harper Sloans Corps Security Kindle Worlds. You can read this book as standalone, but I strongly recommend to read the books in order. This is Coby and Brogan´s story. Like in previous books mentioned, Coby Carter and Brogan Trapp were abducted and tortured by a mad woman. And now they have to live with the consequences, like nightmares and some form of PTSD. Both struggle and to keep them safe, Coby wants to hire a security company, Corps Security from Hope Town. He drives into town and something pulls him into this city. Brogan doesn´t understand his actions and they grew apart, so it seems. But Hope Town helps them to heal. I loved this novelola very much. I love the characters and how they struggle, how they fight and how they win. I give 5 stars, thank you, JM Walker.
Coby Porter has had a rough life. An event in his childhood has caused him to build walls, and turn from a man, to a robot in essence. But one person has the power to break down Coby’s walls, and prove that love wins no matter what the circumstance.
Enter Brogan Tapp. Brogan and Coby’s relationship is not made of fairytales. There’s rough times, there’s times when Brogan gives up her control to Coby, and lets him lead her, and there’s times when these two just melt your heart.
This was my first book by this author. There’s a bit of kink in the book, but nothing too drastic. We also get some of our favorite Hope Town men reintroduced in this book, which of course, makes me very happy.
I was pulled right into this story. The story has pain, suspense, and heartbreak.
This is Brogan and Coby’s story. Brogan is having a hard time with her fear and guilt that her man will not be the same again and will always be haunted. Cody is trying to keep the demons in his mind at bay. He knows that Brogan is worried and he is determined to save their future. When he plans a trip to hope town he is hoping to save both their futures. But will it save them or end up breaking them? With the demons in his mind and the nightmare that are out to get them will they every truly be able to have a future together?
I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
Zach and Brogan have been through some very rough times. Both of them are trying to deal with the past but yet stay again and move on. Zach does his hardest to deal with everything and not lose Brogan. They are working on their relationship when they are given the suggestion to go away for the weekend. Zach goes to Hope Town looking for a security company. He finds so much more there then he expected. Finding all this is it going to bring him and Brogan back to where they were?
I enjoyed reading this story. It was a little rough at the beginning until I understood what was going on with these two. By the end I absolutely loved reading it. Very well written.
The Hope Town series is back in Kindle Worlds and each story has their unique story that stays with you. We have J.M. Walker`s, For You and boy Coby and Brogan got me to the heart. I loved that seeing her man teared down the way he is Brogan is determined to stay by him. It is her strength that gets this strong man back to what he thought was lost. This is more than just a couple by J.M. Walker getting two people together but a bond that doesn`t break definitely one to read from this series. Loved it.
"I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own."
All I can say is this book gave me so many emotions, but what these two went through says it all. I can relate to some of what Brogan and Coby are going through, but that they never gave up on each other, even when it got tough for the both of them. Love is such a special thing and will get you through anything even the tough times. I’m so glad we get to see these two overcome the obstacles in there way and to finally have the happiness they both deserve. I cried when they have the family that they always wanted, but couldn’t have tilled now. I love J.M. Walker books and I can’t wait to see what does next.
This is Cody & Brogan's novella & should be read after Rude book four in the King Harlots MC series as you will get a better understanding of the meaning behind the story. I love Cody & Brogan and was thrilled they were getting their own novella to complete their story. I absolutely loved For You. It was the perfect ending to Cody & Brogan's story. It will have you laughing & crying while reading it. This novella is sweet & extra spicy sexy. Smokin hot scenes that you need a popsicle to cool down. These two will always be ingrated in my heart. I highly recommend reading this novella & the entire King Harlots MC series as it's fabulous & decadently delicious. I volunteerily reviewed an advanced reading copy of this novella.
If you've read any of the King's Harlots series your already half in love with Coby Porter and are familiar with his past. Seeing him struggle and work to overcome his issues in this novella was a little heart breaking, I cried. (the author has a knack for either making me curse or cry) The evolution of Coby and Brogan in this quick read is just what I wanted, no needed, to see for them. Filthy dirty, rough an sexy, this is a novella you don't want to miss! An the fact that there's a little crossover action with a few of the guys from Corps Security was the icing on the cake!
Once again, another amazing story by JM Walker. Although this can be read as a standalone, I suggest not. This novella made me fall more in love with Coby Porter and Coby and Brogan as a couple. The guilt they have felt and overcome after everything they have gone through so is heartbreaking and yet so inspirational! The way Coby finally defeats his demons by helping someone just like him shows how big his heart is and that he will do anything to help his girl. Hope Town definitely brought more than hope into his and Brogan's life! (less)
I was totally rooting for these two! I felt bad for Brogan and Coby who have lost their way through no fault of their own. The passion was still there but they were missing something.
When Brogan goes to Hope Town to check out Corps Security, he found more than he knew that he was even looking for. When Coby takes Brogan to Hope Town for a romantic weekend it was a huge turning point for them.
Coby and Brogan have been through a lot in the last 6 months, they are struggling to cope with the aftermath.
They both love each other so much but trying to make things work is hard, so Coby decides they need to get away for the weekend and they head to Hope Town.
Can these two make things work and get the happily ever after they deserve?
Coby and Brogan are back for this much needed sneak peek into their forever. This novella was everything I could have hoped for in reading these two! My heart ached at their struggle to communicate and overcome and it soared with the certainty that they belong to only each other. In the end they are drawn to the other piece of the puzzle needed to solve their struggle and in turn solve another's puzzle altogether. I cried and I cringed and I swooned. Loved it!
What can I say? I LOVED Coby in Rude, and I love him even more now! Coby and Brogan are struggling to move past something horrible. Their relationship is struggling to survive. Coby goes to Hope Town, Georgia to look into a security company. Instead, he finds a beautiful town to have a romantic getaway, and also manages to find the glue that he and Brogan need to reconnect and move on from what happened.
