— I should have left when I had the chance after reading TWs. Gosh, why do I do this to myself all the time? 😭
— I thought that this book would be okay, like dark-dark but not that dark, right? BUT IT WAS SO FUCKING DARK, PLEASE. I'm not traumatized because, duh, but everything was so dramatic and fast-paced. Like, everything was written like: he slapped me, but I am happy that I'm leaving? Where are the after-slap emotions, dear? 💀 Nvm.
WHAT YOU CAN FIND IN THIS BOOK:
🩸 Catalina simping on Marcello.
🩸 Super gross, super dark, twisted, depraved things that you've never read about.
🩸 More plot twists than an Indian soap opera.
🩸A serial killer, aka chimera storyline, that I did not understand.
🩸 Marcello constantly punishing himself, how he's a monster and sinner and he's guilty.
🩸 Marcello being a sweetie and saying please sorry more than 100 times which had me shocked.
🩸 over-dramatic bitches named as parents!
🩸A lot of backstory and detailed graphic scenes
🩸 the super dramatic and boring epilogue
🩸 Marcello doesn't like being touched but touching Catalina after some chapters!
🩸 more gore 🩸🩸🩸🩸
🩸Vlad and Assisi crumbs (I swear I read this whole book because I WANNA FUCKING START THEIRS).
— Okay, Imma be completely honest now. I seriously had zero interest in reading this, but the author suggested we do because it's not standalone! I SWEAR IT WAS THE MOST SICKENING BOOK I'VE EVER READ! You know, like, okay, you showed character depth by giving wayyyy too many graphic scenes, but why? And personally, I did not really like that super fast-paced writing much! It was like 395 pages long and with less good material!
— I swear, so much pain, torture, and abuse inflicted on each character was just too much! It doesn't (AND I'M TELLING YOU THIS IS NOT AFFECTING MY RATING). The male leads lacked chemistry.
— I'd probably leave so many spoilers because there are more than 200+ confusing twists, but well, Catalina and Marcello barely had chemistry! He supported her, and she liked him, and they kissed, had sex, and the SEX?? The most boring shit ever! 🙃 Please, I prefer enemies to lovers in these books and whatnot, but what they had was super boring. No sexual tension nothing ew!
— At the end, I was so frustrated I skipped all the torture and sex scenes, lmao, and focused on the plot, which was not shocking and boring as fuck? 🙂
— About Allegra and Enzo! Tbh, I loved Enzo. He was nice to her sister, and I love him for that! Enzo and Allegra's book is most hated, lmao, from what I've seen in the reviews, and tbh they did not make a good impression on this book either! I don't give a fuck if they have a HEA and all, but what Allegra did in this book was horrible, and once again, I DON'T GIVE A FUCK IF SHE'S MENTALLY ILL. I'll probably skip their books for my mental and physical happiness! 💁🏻♀️
— Assisi was a cutie! Vlad was cute too, tbh, but I'm super scared to read their book. Still, they were the only reason I finished this book, and while I did not like the author's writing style a lot, I'm gonna read their book too! It's like 700 pages long. 😭😭😭😭😭😭 Ok
— About Raffaelo and Michele (from them I knew about this author hehe). So what Michele did was awful, but I'm waiting for his story. I don't know how he'll redeem himself! hehe
— Tbh this book had every fucking twisted thing I hated, and what Marcello did to Catalina when his father forced him was to an extreme the author could write! Like, why would you add that? 🤧💀
— I wanna remove this book from my mind. I did not like it! The relationship was boring, the abuse scenes were too much and parents sucked obv? and most of all IT WAS CONFUSINSGSGGSGS! ☹️
PLS DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU EASILY GET AFFECTED BY DETAILED SCENES OF RAPE, (Ow and Heroine got raped and it's told in detail). Also child abuse is full on told in this book and every torture and the imagery is full on detail.
