Warning: This story is intended for mature audiences with its foul language, sexual scenes, and graphic violence. This twisted fairytale Cinderella retelling isn’t for the faint of heart. Be advised this is a reverse harem where the main character ends up with more than one mate at the end of this story. And while this story can be read as a standalone and comes with it’s own HEA, each story in the series will intertwine with the others in the series.
USA Today bestselling author, D.E. Chapman is a fantasy novel addict that reads them as much as she writes them, often pretending to be her characters. After all, life is infinitely more exciting with magic and dragons. She hopes to one day write a book so fantastical that it creates a portal to another world. But beware, not all she writes is sunshine and happy endings. There are darker stories hiding within the depths of her mind, filled with mature content and twisted themes, so tread with caution!
Sullied Cinders is a darker more adult version of Cinderella. Wolf Princess - Cin goes through a lot of heartache and violence when she is rejected by her fated mate. After being kidnapped she ends up in a place where she is beaten, abused and put through mental torture. Its hard reading in parts but it does seem to strengthen Cin for what occurs later in the book. With the help of her guys - Styr, Griffin and Nikos. Although i felt their dynamic developed pretty quickly as did the story in general. Not a bad read but it seemed a quick one too
The writing and editing of the ARC version of the manuscript was pretty clean, with occasional typos that will hopefully be fixed in the retail version. The world building was competent, though I wish we had gotten more detail on the politics and cultures of the different supernatural races. The characterization was okay. The heroine was sympathetic, but the heroes were kind of vaguely differentiated to my mind. The development of the romantic relationship was okay. It was not especially romantic. The heat level in this novel was four chili peppers. The plot was tight and exciting, and as a consequence the pacing was very quick. There was a good amount of well justified angst and high stakes throughout in this novel, which tends to be one of my preferred narrative structures for a romance novel. This novel used the Rejected Mate trope and the Mating Bond trope. The world building was three stars. The plot and pacing were both four stars. The characterization and development of the romantic relationship were three stars. I therefore gave this novel a combined rating of three stars. This novel ended on a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger ending, so that was a big plus. I recommend this novel to readers who enjoy dark reverse harem elements in their omegaverse romances. I do not think I will read the next book in this series when it releases. I will not buy myself a keeper copy of the novel.

I LOVED it! She’s a princess. They are part of her quad but she doesn’t know it. There is the mystery; why her father was killed that she wants to solve. Her evil stepmother, no evil stepsisters, and Cinder’s fated mate want her gone, so she sells her. The male characters are all so different they only make the story better. If you want the hot and heavy details of this off chart book, you are going to have to read it. There is a lot of rough sex and multiple partners, so if you have triggers this is for you. I loved it Danielle! I how there are more books like this rattling around in your brain.
This is a reverse harem romance based on Cinderella where she's the princess of a shifter pack but is rejected by her true mate, then kidnapped and sold as a servant. This book has some graphic violence so trigger warnings for that. I feel like the relationships between Cinderella and her men were a bit underdeveloped and would've loved to see more of them together but otherwise this was a really enjoyable, quick read. There were a few steamy scenes, some of which included MM scenes which I love in reverse harems. I look forward to reading more of the series when they're published.

I thoroughly enjoyed this twisted version of Cinderella. There were similarities but for the most part it was it's own story. I'm getting excited to read the rest of the series because I want to know what's going to happen with the quads and how they're all going to work together. There's a lot of abuse in this one, so it's not for everyone. The bad guys get took care of so that makes it that much better. Prince Charming is a real piece of work but he fits the villain party perfectly. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved the book the story was written well a Fairy Tale with a twist for the adults to read. Cinderella is Princess of the pack and lives in darkness after been sold she has been used and abused. Her father was murdered so she believes the pack should become hers, she needed to go to the becoming of age she is hoping she will find her fated mate but one wants her gone. It was so hot with the rough sex, so much more heat trying to find their mate or mates. Reverse Harem story was great.

This was a fairly good book, it was written well and the plot was decent, with lots of dark scenes, it just didn't stand out. The story felt a little rushed and lacked the detail that you sometimes need in Paranormal! Everything seemed to be glazed over with little explanation. Cinder was quite a weak character that i just didn't really like. The MMC's i did like however, but just would have wanted more back story on them all.

Give me shifters and other fantastic paranormal men! I devoured this book and wished it was longer to add more to these phenomenal characters. This wasn't what I was expecting, and yes Red and her men made a semi quick appearance. I just was left for wanting so much more. Which makes this book amazing. I think I would have liked to see more character story of her men and maybe more smut...but I am selfish like that. I can't wait to read more and see where this goes!
This twisted and unique spin on Cinderella was a steamy treat. I enjoyed how each of Cin's mates were each so different yet together they were quite the interesting quad. I would have liked a bit more of them all together but perhaps that's just my greedy reverse harem loving nature. The touch of mystery and rejected mate trope added an intriguing layer to this story and left me a bit curious to how all the stories will connect later on.
Really wasn't expecting this when I first heard about it. I mean, I knew which direction the author was going but still...got my feelings going everywhere throughout the book. Cin mentally and physically is put through the wringer. The author didn't spare her at all. But she gave Cin the best revenge in the end. However, I felt something was missing. Will have to think on that, LOL. Otherwise, really good second book in this series.
★ A crying Cin - darkly twisted and unconventional retelling ★
—>>> In this darkly twisted and unconventional retelling, Cin is but a mere pawn, her ensuing treatment vastly unexpected from that of a pack princess or Luna, a position as follow-on leader to her father’s shifter wolves. Her birthright now tossed into the wind, Cin nevertheless manages to overcome all to collect a harem of mates from amongst the supernatural and immortal community.
Cin is ok as an fmc, she was not what I would have expected from an alpha wolf, at least in the beginning. Really liked Griffon and Nikos, had some issues with Styr, didn’t really get enough time with him to be invested in him as an mmc.

This is the second book in the series but it can be read as a standalone. In this dark retelling of Cinderella, which includes a reverse harem. Cin goes through so much and is still strong. This is a fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Sizzling scenes with her hot male mates and plenty of twists and turns. I liked it.
3 1/2 Stars..........A twisted, dark version of Cinderella, complete with wicked stepmother. But in this book, Cin is a wolf-shifter princess with 3 mates and a lot of folks after her....one way or another. Second of the Twisted Tales series and both books can be read for FREE with KU. Solid Read

D.E. Chapman could give the Grimm brothers a run for their money, writing wise. I truly loved reading Cinderella her way. As for a moral, maybe it's in there. You won't regret reading this, because this story won't keep you wanting, unless it's wanting more!
This is such a good re-telling. You get so absorbed in the story you forget that's what it is till it smacks you in the face and you laugh at yourself for forgetting. It is gritty, flaming hot and yet gentle in wonderful ways. I'm now hooked on this author.
This is the story following Red. Cin was briefly introduced in the prior story, giving us the hope for more.
This is not a story for those looking for a twist on an old tale. This is a much darker story; one that includes human trafficking and abuse, violence and vengeance. It will give you a delicious hope for all while giving you a desire for more. I'm excited for these dark retelling and look forward to what is to come in this series.
