“I’ve had enough knocks and dips to count for three lifetimes.”
This is my favorite Jenna Gunn book yet! I’m head over heels in love with Brandon and honestly I don’t want to wake up!
Anya and Brandon, what a beautiful couple and what an amazing love story.
“Yeah, you saved me from suffocating in your manly pecs”
Anya is a strong, loving, witty heroine.
Anya’s life hasn’t been easy at all. She’s the daughter of two former stars that ended up falling from grace and being addicts. The problem with addiction? It destroys families and you don’t think of much besides your next dose.
Anya has had to be the grown up since she was 16, with a younger brother that needed nurturing and parents that would disappear for long periods of time, her childhood was cut short and so was her peace.
When she was 17 her parents lost all, left their kids and Anya had to come up with a way to rent a house a fend for her and her brother.
If you thought that was all... sadly no... her brother also ends up being addict to drugs and she has spent her life literally digging him out of holes, paying for his bills and rehabs that never work.
She has been so strong for so long and has taken care of everything and everyone but herself that when someone wants to e éter her life and help, her walls are way high and strong to let that happen.

Brandon is Bryce twin. They might look similar on the outside, but that’s where similarities end. Inside, their core is as different as it can be.
Brandon is broken, has trouble believing is worth and is so sweet and caring you’d think he’s the male version of a teddy bear.
What I love most about Brandon? He knows, from the moment he sees Anya, that she’s his other half. It’s clear as day to him. Does he think he deserves her? That she’ll want him? Well that’s another story, Brandon is too broken to believe at first that he deserves happiness, specially with someone as bright and perfect as Anya (at least that’s how he sees her).
This book is a love story, but it’s also about overcoming your fears, your insecurities, about letting someone in and trusting them to be there for you and being able to rely on them to put your happiness first.

I received an ARC for an honest review of this book. Why has it taken me so long to read Jenna Gunn? Why had I not discovered the fabulous Archer brothers before? The story between Anya and Brandon had me captivated from the start. Jenna has a way of unraveling the story and situations in such a unique way. It makes you contemplate everything from a new angle and/or perspective. It makes you ask yourself: Why didn't I think of that??? Anya's life is definitely not simple or go-lucky. Having had to fend for herself and her younger brother Cameron from an early age, has never allowed her to enjoy the simple things or what any other 27 yr old woman should be basking in. Why??? Because her responsibilities always come first...

I loved Brandon and Anya! Both are strong, determined and resilient people that have had to deal with family issues that have brought them great pain. Brandon has always thought of himself as the big disappointment in his family because of a severe learning disability. Anya has had to deal with neglectful parents who abandoned her and her brother as teenagers. She has had to bail her addict brother out of plenty of trouble in the past and now he has brought trouble to their door again. Brandon has never wanted to step on his brother Bishop’s toes when it comes to his best friend, Anya, but a chance meeting at a bar, a very flirty conversation and then having to protect from a thug makes it clear to Brandon that he is ready to takes a chance with her. Anya is fiercely independent, but also really scared right now, more so for her brother than for herself. She is also aware that what she feels for Brandon, a fierce attraction, is very different than what she feels for Bishop which is just friendship. She accepts Brandon’s need to protect to her and allows him stay with her, which leads to some very hot and very passionate intimacies. Secrets are revealed, threats escalate and their soul-deep connection deepens. But everything between them is threatened when her brothers ‘s trouble and Brandon’s duty intersect. Read this fast-paced, intriguing and very engaging book to discover how Brandon and Anya’s story develops.

I received a free ARC copy in exchange for my honest review. This is my own opinion and was not influenced by anyone.
Anya has lived all her life for her family. She took care of her parents until then took off and now she's taking care of her brother, Cameron. Going as far as paying everything she has for his debts and rehab. Now Cameron owes a scary loan shark and he is leaving threats on her front door.
Brandon is one of the Archer brothers and Bryce's twin. He has struggled all of his life with dyslexia and feels he is a disappointment to his family, especially his father.
Brandon sees Anya at a party and sees his chance to talk. He has watched her giving surfing lessons on the beach but has steered clear because she has some sort of relationship with his brother, Bishop.
Brandon instantly feels very protective of Anya, saving her the very first night from a collector from the loan shark. His actions very alpha but sweet. Anya's loyalty to her brother is admirable to a point but I really wanted her to stand up and put herself and Brandon first.
It is a very sweet standalone romance with characters that just connect. Broken Rules is book 3 in the Archer Brothers Series. I love the relationship that we see between the brothers and with their father. They are a wonderful, supportive family. Brandon is my new favorite brother and I recommend Broken Rules.

Anya and Brandon both work on the water. He is a lifeguard and part of a large family who are strong members of the local community. She is on her own living in a dilapidated house, once owned by her parents, working as a surf instructor and trying to keep her brother Cameron out of trouble. That isn't going real well as Cam constantly gets into more and more trouble. Brandon becomes Anya's anchor and even though circumstances threaten to pull them apart he is there through thick and thin. They run through some really rough patches and Anya is constantly face with having to find money to get Cam out of trouble and the latest stint could get them both killed.
The story is full of emotion as Anya struggles to let Brandon become a bigger part of her life when she has always been independent. But Brandon isn't going to be put off and when circumstances dictate that he put Cam in jail he doesn't hesitate. although the fallout with Anya nearly destroys both of them. This story has it all and I thoroughly recommend it. It is easy to read, the plot is realistic and the characters could live next door.

This story is about Anya, best friend and neighbor of his brother Bishop and Brandon Tucker is a splendid story in this series. Anya gets a threating letter about her brother owing lots of money as she's going out to her friend Mave's twenty first birthday. Feeling out of place in the nightclub Anya finds her friend along with her co-workers sitting at a table. Brandon standing behind her offers to buy her a drink which she accepts as they walk to the bar. As they set at the bar they talk and the attraction blooms as they decide to go outside. Brandon then asks Anya for a date and then kisses her. Anya and Brandon go inside to tell her friend goodbye and then walks her to her car when a man approaches Anya warning about owing Carlos. Brandon interferes and a fight ensues which puts him in jail. When Brandon is freed, Anya who is waiting at the jail drives them home and Brandon asks her what's going on. Does Anya trusts Brandon? Can Brandon help her and protect her and what will his brother say about them seeing each other? This story was enjoyable to read with likable characters and it was a engaging well written story I volunteer to review via Booksprout. ARC

This book brings us Anya, Cameron, Bryce and Brandon. Anya has taken care of people her whole life, and that includes her drug addict brother Cameron. She is also friends with Bryce who is Brandon's brother. Cameron has gotten himself into trouble and his whereabout are unknown, so Anya is getting threatened for the money that Cameron owes. And, she doesn't have it. She meets Brandon at a bar, and they hit it off, but after he leaves, she gets herself in some trouble, and finds herself in jail. The only person she can think to call is Brandon, and he bails her out. She doesn't want to get anyone else involved with her life and Cameron's, but Brandon won't abandon her, and she finally tells him. Brandon is a nice guy, and the more time they spend together, he knows he is falling in love with her. However, he is jealous of her relationship with his brother Bryce, and feelings get hurt. They must learn to trust each other. This is a great read and I highly recommend it. I did receive an arc for an honest review.

Oh I am really loving this series about the Archer brothers. In this book Brandon comes to the rescue of a friend of his brother. He ends up in jail and suspended for his troubles. Anya comes and bails him out. She is so attracted to Brandon. She is reluctant to start any thing because she has to find her brother before the loan shark he owes money to does. This does not stop Brandon and Anya from getting closer and closer. Brandon helps her locate her brother who is waiting for Anya to bail him out of his troubles. Anya just doesn't have the money to help him. She tries for a second job which leads to a huge misunderstanding with Brandon. Brandon also has hurdles to overcome because of his learning disability. Brandon is kind and caring. He and Anya both deserved to be loved by each other. There are plenty of steamy scenes but the budding romance and personal confidence both gain makes this a great read. I can't wait to read about the next Archer brother.

I really enjoyed reading Broken Rules: A Rescuer Romance by Jenna Gunn because it was such a great story about Brandon and Anya. They met at a party at a bar and sparks flew between the two of them. Anya has always been taking care of her younger brother who lately seems to always be in trouble. There are people threatening Anya as a result of it. Brandon has this need and want to always take care of Anya. They are so perfect for each other. There is a lot of drama involving Cameron, Anya's brother and that seems to cause friction in Brandon's and Anya's relationship. I loved reading this story and I hoped that things would work out for Cameron and that he would finally get his act together. I also hoped that Brandon and Anya would work out their differences as well. I would highly recommend reading this story. It was so good!!!

My favorite Brandon quote: “And if I read her right, she’s about to get me naked, and scale me like I’m a jungle gym.” That visual just makes me smile.
My second favorite Brandon quote: “She arches into me. God… I still can’t believe that I get to have this.” I love that line because it sums up who Brandon is.
Brandon is a dedicated, stable, hardworking, life guard, with the looks to match. Yet, he is self-deprecating and humble. He falls for Anya, a sweet, but very broken, surf instructor who has the bad habit of enabling her younger brother’s bad behavior. All kinds of deep-down Lifetime movie worthy shenanigans take place before Brandon and Anya get their HEA. But they do get there. Brandon was a great book-boyfriend. Anya deserves a spanking.

Anya has been taking care of other people all her life. Her parent were absent parent. She raised her littler brother. Now her brother struggles with addiction and has gotten into trouble. Anya is use to taking care is her brother and this is no different. This time it may well break her. Brandon lives someone the road and it the brother of Anya’s best friend. He and Anya find themselves at the same bar and take the time to get to know each other better. Brandon want to get to know and take care of Anya but will she let him?
A good story about love, responsibility, family, and getting by. Both Anya and Caden have to work through their own insecurities in order to move forward. Definitely worth the read.

Brandon is the broken hero, Anya is his brother Bishops friend. Anya has taken care of everyone her whole life. With absent, drug using musician parents & a younger brother also lost in addiction, she struggles to make ends meet. Now her brother owes lots of money, the sharks are circling & they have their eyes on Anya. Brandon has felt like he's let people down his entire life. Suffering from a debilitating learning disorder, he struggles to read the simplest of things. She needs protection, he feels the need to prove himself. This story has a slightly lost hero, a heroine trying to save what's left of her family & a drop dead sexy couple trying to make this work. It is steamy(you may just want a fan handy), sexy, swoony & all around awesome! It is my top story in the series so far, it will be tough to beat! Enjoy!

Gosh! Brandon really does it for me! The Archer brothers are definitely my new favorite series! So lovely, strong, compassionate and honestly out of world perfect men! The little imperfections Mrs Gunn lets them have are just a nice something to love more. Anya has the big chance to gather Brandon , one of the twins and a real nice guy. She has a lot going on in her life and doesn’t need anything more on her plate so when things get even uglier she decides to not to pursue her relationship with Brandon any longer but to concentrate her feelings and force on her brother. Is this really a good decision? You’ll love this. I did!!

I voluntarily read an arc of this book for an honest review. This book had all the feels. I think Brandon is my very favorite Archer brother so far! I loved that he goes after Anya right away. You’re never in doubt to his intentions and he’s so sexy and yet sweet and vulnerable. Anya is super awesome too. She’s holding it all together, her home, her brother, her life...barely. But, she’s still doing it. When these two get together, it’s magic! I loved this book! The depth of the characters, their chemistry, the problems they deal with. There was nothing about this book I didn’t like. Buy this book and read it as fast as you can!

Anya and Brandon are both explosive characters. They fit well together from the start. Anya is the ultra responsible one who has taken care of her little brother since she was a teenager. Her parents were musicians and druggies so she took care of the house and finances too. Now she's met Brandon who wants to take care of her for a change. Can she let go and depend on someone else? They both have baggage and seemingly self sabatoge. Can they work things out? The sex is phenomenal but is that enough? Wonderful addition to the series.

Broken Rules is yet another example of Jenna Gunn’s amazing writing. I have read all of the books in this series, and I especially love this one. Brandon is an amazing character with strengths and vulnerability. Anya is sweet and loyal, and together they are an amazing couple.
The chemistry between Brandon and Anya is smoldering and heartwarming. I don’t like giving a synopsis of the book, but I will tell you that this was an amazing book because of the depth of the characters and the steamy scenes. It is filled with a bit of suspense, angst, and romance. It has everything you could ask for in a romance book!

And the series just keeps getting better.
Brandon is my favorite brother and Anya is a cutie. I love how loyal Brandon is and how sure he is of his feelings, no matter how much Anya tries to push him away to save him from her problems.
These two are true soulmates.

An Unexpected Love Connection -
The story has great characters and a truly amazing dialogue, that is easy to follow and captivate you, right from the beginning, until the end. This book has a little of everything to entertain different tastes. This is the third book in the in the Archer Brothers Series and is Brandon's story. Although this is part of the series it can be read as a standalone. This love story is set in the seaside town of Lynn's Cove, California. It won't take you long to fall in love with Anya and Brandon. They are so great together and their banter is hilarious at times. Their chemistry is strong and he loves being the protector. The book is well written and has likable characters. These Archer men are ferocious when it comes to their woman and what they will do to keep them safe.
What Brandon and Anya go through is enough to put a halt to anyones relationship.
Besides Bishop being her best friend, Brandon just can not catch a break at all; throw her brother Cam into the mix and you might as well thrown in the towel too.
This book is fantastic and I can not wait to read the next one.

Anya meets Brandon at a bar and there is instant chemistry between them. Brandon quickly learns Anya is getting threats because of her brother. He wants to protect her, but she wants to help her brother more. They both have trust issues and must overcome things from their pasts. Third book in the Archer brothers series. Brandon is such a great guy. Rule follower, kind, generous, yet he feels so unworthy of female attention. Anya just truly needs help! Her brother Cameron is in trouble with a loan shark and they are visiting their home and threatening her. Brandon is the perfect protector. Their attraction is sizzling! This is my favorite Archer brothers so far because Brandon is so amazing and Anya is so deserving! LOVE this couple!

I loved the dialogue as well as the sweet and sexy romance. It's an entertaining read that had me hooked from start to finish. It's well written ,moves fluidly and is a great read.

This is the third book in the Archer Brothers Series. This is the story of Brandon and Anya and takes place in Lynn’s Cove. Anya works as a surfing instructor and Brandon works as a lifeguard for Ocean Rescue. This is a great love story that is full of drama, suspense, trauma and secrets that could destroy the strong chemistry between Brandon and Anya.

I love the Archer brothers. This is Brandon and Anya’s story. Anya doesn’t have it easy, she’s always been the one to take care of everybody else. And now her brothers debt is another thing she has to worry about. Brandon has know her as an acquaintance. And comes to her rescue one night. He decides that he wants to be there for her. This was a good story and I can’t wait to read about the next brother.

Anya and Bishop are a great couple. Anya grew up way before her time and became a Mom to her brother Cameron. Flash forward Anya is always bailing Cam out of all trouble he gets in to. This time he went to far and she needs 15k to help him. Brandon and Anya start their relationship with eyes wide open. Their love grows despite the turmoil they end up in. In the end they are just the best couple and know that their love is special . I loved this book.

Jenna Gunn has done it again. A book just as good as the previous 2. I really love the character. They are strong but yet vulnerable. I have truly enjoyed reading Brandon and Anya's story. The things that they are facing on their own and then together as one would be tough for anyone. It is so moving I did not want to put it down, or for it to end. I highly recommend reading this book.

Walking thru the parking lot to Anya’s car, a heavily muscled thug threateningly approaches and gives Anya a warning. Wow, this is a fantastic book three in The Archer Brothers series! It is well written, engaging, fast pace, and entertaining with drama, suspense, supportive family, misunderstandings, and ups and downs! The characters are amazing, great together and have mazing chemistry. Definitely recommended!
