Having read Volume 1 of Sitting on Death Row, I decided I should read Volume 2.
Only a couple of the stories were familiar, Karla Faye Tucker and Darlie Routier. It takes an especially heinous crime to merit the death penalty, and the crimes committed by these Death Row inmates are atrocious.
The author notes that criminals who receive the death penalty are, in general, incapable of being reformed or rehabilitated. Some continue to kill even while in prison.
I like how Jack gives you an overview of each case and update at the end of each. I have read a few of his books and always find them to be very well researched and I was pleasantly surprised when he emailed an update to me on one of his other books so I didn’t have to buy the book again for the additional information
I've read this authors book before and this book didn't disappoint. I did recognize some of the stories but some were new to me which was great. I look forward to reading more.
