Was expecting something ridiculously silly, ended up almost crying over 😆😆😆 That's not to say there isn't some goof in this story, but it is all coming from the main character, Dahlia. The world and the other characters are all broken to some degree and the story is really setting up Dahlia to be in serious danger in later volumes. At this point I wouldn't consider it particularly dark, though.
Manhwa version is on Tapas as The World's Strongest are Obsessed with Me.
While it tells a lot more than it shows and can be repetitive, there are some interesting ideas at play in this Korean isekai adventure. The transcendentals are forced hero figures needed by their empire and used. Meanwhile the general populous fears them and they become more and more unstable as they use their powers increasing the self-harm and devastation. The entry point for readers is our protagonist who recalls how this was the world of an dark themed otome game in her previous life, but she is confused as her character Dahlia never existed there. While she tries to plan a survival route and confirm if any changes can be made to plot points, she discovers (much like a Guideverse) she has the power to calm mana in the awakened.
