Discover a brand new race of Alpha males ready to find their mates in a dangerous warrior planet. Sassy women traveling with Gerri Wilder are in for the journey of a lifetime and a mate that will love them through the galaxy. Are you ready?
Grab the next Galaxan romance between a sexy warrior and his fiery mate.
Attention is something Riley Parks usually shies away from, but when she finds herself on a shifter planet in a distant galaxy, attention is exactly what she's getting. Especially from one smokin' hot hunk of a man. Jag. The man sends her body into heat and her mind to a scramble whenever he's near, but she's not having it. No way. A little taste might not hurt, though, right?
Royal prince, warrior, and womanizer, Jag Kasaval has his sights set on Riley. She turns his world upside down and his inner lion is clawing to claim her. Not used to rejection, he's willing to do anything to get his mate. What he didn't expect was a feisty hellcat waiting to be unleashed beneath her quiet exterior.
Riley and Jag are thrown together to help plan a royal wedding and coronation. She refuses to admit Jag is exactly the man she wants, even if matchmaker Gerri Wilder says it's in the cards. In the midst of palace intrigue, Riley's swept up in scandal and danger that drags her beyond the Galaxa she's come to know. With her life in the balance, Jag will have to find her before it's too late or lose her forever.
Milly Taiden (also writes as April Angel) was born in the prettiest part of the Caribbean (to her) known as the Dominican Republic. Currently, she resides in New York City with her husband, bossy young son and their little dog Speedy.
When she’s not working full-time, texting with her best friend Heidi in England, chastising her son for pulling the dog’s ears, shopping with her sister Jewel or watching scary movies with her husband, she can be found writing on her laptop.
She’s addicted to shoes, chocolate, Dunkin Donuts coffee and JIMMY THOMAS covers!!!
Nope. Hard pass. From the continuity errors (didn't Maddox and Bors die in the last book? when "lifeless" bodies crumple to the ground, I thought so, but apparently not) to the bad chemistry between the H/h, I was impressed at how much I disliked this.
I normally all in for cracky reads, and I'm flexible when it comes to the story, but this was not good. Jag and Riley were all crude innuendo with no connection and that just leads to scuzzy not sexy.
Sad, because I think Ms. Taiden has improved in many ways, but this is not an example of that improvement. I think this series has definitely hit the wall and it's time to retire it.
This isn’t working for me. I can’t force myself to keep reading. I hate both main characters. Can’t stand them.
The h is a spineless walking talking hormone. She’s all ‘I really dig how hot this guy is and I’d let him do unspeakable things to my bod, too bad I hate that he’s a man whore, and has no personality, but maybe I should get it on anyway, because he’s hot, too bad he doesn’t have a good personality, and I hate him.’ Whiplash my friends. Every goddamn paragraph. The first couple of pages the h thinks she found/listened to the H having sex with a castle maid in a closet... stays to listen, then acts embarrassed when she’s caught. But still skulks around after the man like a whipped puppy. (He claimed it wasn’t him in the closet, but also is known for sleeping with all the women in his kingdom. And it was never clarified if it was him or not by the time I quit the book).
The H is a self proclaimed man whore. And he’s unapologetic about it. However, he literally shows the h that he’s only good for his job and skeevy one liners. I saw nothing about him that was attractive. Even when she went all mushy at him taking care of Street kids... I wasn’t all impressed because isn’t it part of his fucking job to know this problem exists in his kingdom, and uh, try to fix that shit?
Even Gerry is weird in the newest books in this series. When did she turn from everyone’s fav grandma match maker to the horny old lady with the awkwardly forward comments? Yeesh.
Milly Taiden did it again with her awesome books, never ceases to amaze me the talent that she puts in her stories and her characters. Born with the Silver Moon part of the already awesome series.
The book just added more awesomeness on top of it was fun it was sassy the characters you just really wanted to like and you just have to love Gerrie, I love I love me some Gerrie. Since the very first paranormal dating book she's awesome. She just knows things and she she makes it work. The fun is the banter, between Jag, Vander and Damon - Ivy, Hen and Riley.
This story is about Jack and Riley - a player player Prince versus the shy type girl; he's not so much he's not so much the player she's not so much of the mouse and that just makes the book worthwhile.
This book is a standalone you can read it without reading the prior books but youd have so much reading the prior books to really get into this world. I voluntarily read and reviewed and enjoyed this book and I recommend it.
What do aliens, humans, and other planets have in common? Why Gerri Wilder of course.
This is by far one of my favorite series in the world. The world's this author creates is phenomenal literally out of this world. You can't help but want to be there. This is Jag and Ryley's story. Ryley comes with Gerri to check in on her friend. She should've known Gerri was up to her matchmaking tricks. This time though Ryley is sure that Gerri has made a mistake. Jag is the playboy of the castle he's a lover and everyone knows it especially Ryley. Ryley can't begin to imagine why Gerri thought she and Jag would good mates, but when these two are thrown together for the wedding ceremony things heat up and stars shine bright. When trouble comes knocking again and Ryley life is put in danger Jag will stop at nothing to prove to her just how much she matters.
I do enjoy this series. And I love this author. ok, with that said, I have mixed feelings about this book. I enjoyed it. But at the same time it didn't hold my interest. I mean, when I would sit down and read I was good, but it would take me a bit more time to pick it back up when I had free time.
I loved that Riley didn't just fall into Jag's arms right away. She made him work for it, but then she wouldn't leave his side. This has the classic part where someone is in trouble and the shifter comes to the rescue. But with Paranormal Romance, it is needed in a sense. And honestly this book wasn't all about Riley and Jag, it does go back to Ivy and Vander often as they are planning the wedding and coronation.
Things are getting hotter and hotter on Galaxa and it is not just the desert.. Riley and Jag have undeniable chemistry but she is definitely not confident in herself to think Jag cab be doing anymore than just flirting he has a reputation of being a playboy and that is not her style.. Jag knows Riiley is his mate his Xeno will not stop reminding him but winning her over is not easy and gaining her trust is even harder.. The problems in Galaxa run deep and Jag has to help his brother the King find the root of the corruption and keep the people of their planet and home safe... Once these two join together nothing can tear them apart and they are a force to be reckoned with.. This book was awesome many twist and turns trying to find the deep rooted unrest and corruption as well as the romantic and hot as hell mating .. But the loyalty to family and mates is what really sucks you in they will do anything to protect eachother...
*WARNING* adult content Our matchmaker, Gerri Wilder, took 3 human woman from Earth to Galaxa. One woman has already mated Vander, the king. This book is the story of Riley and Prince Jag. Galaxa is over run with corruption outside the castle walls AND inside them. This story has action, adventure, and all the feels you anyone can ask for. I like the addition of the nomadic ritual. I also like the addition of the children. A great story! 🏰
Thrilling installment in the paranormal dating series. Riley maybe the quote one. Just don't mess with the ones she loves or you will hear her road. Jag should never judge a book by it cover you may get more than you were expecting.
Riley and her friends know a matchmaker who takes them to another planet to find their mates. They go to Galaxea, one is pregnant and is about to marry the King. Riley is attracted to the King’s brother Jag. Jag is a playboy, a lion shifter and the Prince. Jag and Riley go to the markets to search for food, decorations, and music for the wedding and coronation. They find two kids living on the streets by themselves. They take them back to the palace and then the boy runs away and then is kidnapped. They send out a search team, along with Riley but when they are attacked and Riley is taken, Jag will do anything to get her back. Short but very good story. Shifters, curvy women, and beyond good looking men. Bloody with action and suspense. The sex is out of this world ( 😄😄😄 ). * Voluntarily read and reviewed this for the author *
Another sexy win in the PDA series!!! Gerri is up to her sneaky matchmaking again, this time with Riley Parks. Riley, Henley and Ivy came from Earth together and Ivy was matched first to the King of Galaxa, Vander. Riley and Henley are now given the job of getting ready for their wedding slash coronation. Riley gets paired up with the gorgeous prince Jag, Vander’s brother and all around playboy. She wants him more then she has ever wanted anyone but she can’t and won’t allow herself to become yet another notch in his bedpost. Old betrayals in the kingdom bring them closer together as they work to build love and trust in each other and to right past wrongs. This is a great series and I love the camaraderie between Ivy, Riley and Henley. I loved while Riley was quiet and soft spoken, get her riled and she could be the fiercest thing you have even seen. I also liked how Jag wasn’t an over the top playboy, just a very confident gorgeous man who knew who and what he wanted and did what needed to be done to get what he wanted. I absolutely can not wait until Henley’s story, I love her character and expect her book to be just as amazing as she is.
The playboy and the mouse. Not a good combination for me. Dislike manwhores anyway but just as I was warming up to Jag he ogled another woman whilst out with Riley then became a big head bragging again about his sexual prowess. Riley was a bit annoying with her I want him but don’t want him see sawing. I really understood her attitude but Gerri had said they were mates and she wasn’t honest enough to tell Jag she wanted a proper relationship, she assumed he just wanted another notch on his bedpost. Then all of a sudden they go out on a date and end up with something happening. Not giving a spoiler. Really enjoyed having the others in this book and the continuing background story about the traitorous abuse perpetrated by some people in power. Going to take a while to get things sorted. But I am not sure why Gerri is coming across as more crude in the last few books. I always felt she was a lady with a wicked sense of humour when this first started but now it just feels wrong the way she is talking. This is my honest review of this book.
I'm really enjoying the Galaxa Warriors books so far. Unlike with previous books in the series, these books don't have isolated plot lines (though they could still be read as stand-alones). Starting in book 14 of the Paranormal Dating Agency series (which is also book 1 of the Galaxa Warriors), Kiss My Asteroid: Galaxa Warriors, a sinister plot on Galaxa is revealed, or at least the tip of the ice burg. That plot continues into this book. In the previous book we found that Maddox was poisoning the women in the capitol in an effort to become king himself by causing a mutiny among Vander's warriors due to lack of mates. He was counting on them to then make him king because he would know how to solve the problem of their women dying. He knew that bringing Earth women to Galaxa was a possibility and wanted to prevent that from happening and keep the blood lines pure. Obviously, that plan backfired. He seems to have only expedited the process of getting Gerri, along with Ivy, Riley, and Henley, to the planet. In this book we learn more of this plot and how deep it truly runs.
I appreciate that Riley refused to be seduced for the first part of the book, knowing of his playboy history. She had enough self respect to not become another notch on his bedpost when she truly wanted more than just a hook-up (even if she was telling herself she just didn't want him at all). I liked how she made him work for it, telling him he needed to do it right. She stood her ground despite being nervous around Jag (though she'd never admit that to him).
This book had a couple of incongruities with the previous book (book 14 of the Paranormal Dating Agency series, and book 1 of the Galaxa Warriors books), Kiss My Asteroid: Galaxa Warriors. First off, I thought Maddox was dead. I quote from the previous book: "...and before Maddox could find his feet, Vander grabbed his throat and crushed the life from his body." That seems pretty indicative of death to me. Additionally, it doesn't make sense why Damen was interrogating Maddox to discover his methods of infecting the women. Vander says (in this book) that "We know what Maddox used to poison our women, but we still don't know how." Well, you definitely should. Bors told Ivy how Maddox was making the women sick in the previous book. Specifically, Bors said (in Kiss My Asteroid: Galaxa Warriors): "Maddox wanted a more concealed way to poison the capitol, so he set the worms loose in the women's bath houses and spas."
So this is my first 3* review for this entire series. I have loved this series because they are quick insta-love stories with little to no drama. This book wasn’t terrible, in fact I think it had the best ending to any book so far. It was a perfect HEA ending fit for a princess.
Why I’m giving a lower review is because of 2 reasons. First, I super duper disliked both the heroine & hero. The hero was a massive ‘player’ and the description made him sound like a complete man whore that pretty much slept with every female in the kingdom. There were times that hinted to him sleeping with others even after he met his ‘mate’ Riley (this is not clear but even she thinks she hears him with someone else). Just ewe! This is not how I like my guys to behave in my romances. He talks to her like she is just another hookup for the longest time, even though I think they both knew it was more. Because of this, I never felt a strong connection between these two and didn’t root for them.
Riley doesn’t want to be played and treated like another casual hookup. I agree since that’s not how I like my insta-love stories to go, but I found her resistance very annoying. There was a time near the end of the book where she insisted on accompanying the trackers & warriors in order to chase after a group of human traffickers. Eyeroll. You know what happens. While behaving like a TSTL heroine, she of course, gets taken. Yeah, it was kinda hard to root for her. She was so mean too. Her mate gave her his mark and her response was, ‘if I get sick of you I’ll just get a tattoo over it when I go back to earth’. Ahh..what a sweet romance…
Yeah so I clearly wasn’t into our couple in this story. Perhaps it has something to do with my second issue, which that there way, way, WAY too much going on in this book besides the (almost nonexistent) romance. There’s wedding planning, orphaned children, an unplanned marriage, sabotage against the traitor from the last story, a previous villain we thought was dead has come back to life, human traffickers, culture wars about to break out across the planet and villages being robbed in name of the king. Overall, too much planetary drama and not enough romance. Zero sweetness. Zero time to see the relationship grow. Very few steamy times happening.
I haven’t given up just yet, I hope Henleys story (next in series) is hotter, steamier and more romantic than Riley’s story. I’m figuring it will be since it’s a poly relationship. Fingers crossed…
What a great story. I love Milly Taiden's take on shifters. Her shifters aren't the normal shifters you've read about.
First, Shifter on Earth aren't full blooded shifters. They are human-shifter hybrids. Also, they are smaller and not as powerful as full blooded shifters.
Second, full blooded shifters in this series come from other planets. Two planets have been introduced so far, Nova Aurora and Galaxa. Nova Aurora and Glaxa are both ruled by royal families. The difference between the two planets is that Galaxa is a planet of warrior shifters that don't shift on a regular basis like those on Nova Aurora.
My favorite character of the series and the only character that spans the entire series is Gerri Wilder. Gerri is a feisty older woman who runs a matchmaking buisness angled toward finding mates for shifters. Sometimes those mates are other shifters and sometimes they are humans. Sometimes the pairs reside on Earth and sometimes they are found on either Nova Aurora or Galaxa.
In this story you get to see Riley and Jag find their HEA. Riley is a friend of the current Queen of Galaxa and Jag is the Prince of Galaxa and brother of the king. Their story is fun becasue, while Riley has a feisty side, sheis the quietest of all the females introduced in this serie so far... at least in my opinion she is. It's comical the way Jag likes to get under her skin just to see her flash her firey side at him. Jag is a player. At least he paints himself as one but, ever since her met Riley, he hasn't wanted any female except her. Now the two are paired up to plan the food and entertainment for the Royal Wedding and the Queen's official coronation ceremony, all while trying to help solve the mystery of the corruption running rampent in the kingdom.
I loved reading their story, especially the 'bedouin' ceremony. I can't wait to see what happens with Henley and Damen. Theirs is gonna be fun, I can tell.
Riley Parks is a quiet woman who is more into detail and careful thought before actions, however, when she travels to shifter planet Galaxa, attention is something she is constantly getting - especially from incredibly attractive Jag who sends her body into a hot flush and her mind to scrambled egg whenever he is near. But she is determined to give in to this although she is starting to wonder if a little taste might be ok. Jag Kasaval is a royal prince, warrior and womanizer - but when he sees Riley he sets his sights on her - she has set his world upsidedown and his lion is clawing to claim her - however, when she is so determined to stay away from him, he becomes willing to do anything to get his mate - especially when she turns into a hellcat under her quiet exterior. With a royal wedding and a coronation to plan, Ivy and Jag need to work together plug Ivy is determined not to accept the inevitable. However, when Riley is swept into scandal and then danger that has dragged her away and put her life in the balance, Jag is going to have to find her before it is too late or face the fact that he has lost her forever.
This started off being quite monotonous as we experienced Ivy in denial yet watching Jag all of the time, but it became more interesting as her interest in Jag increased and the danger for her went up many levels. So I really liked her fire and her sass at the end of the book, just not her timidness at the start. Jag was a misunderstood playboy in many ways and it was only when she got to know the mean person that she realised that first impressions are not always correct. Full of drama and danger, I enjoyed the drama near the end of the story and how everything ended up in the end. Well written and easy to feel and understand. There is some sexual content.
Born with a Silver Moon: Galaxa Warriors is the 15th book in Milly Taiden's Paranormal Dating Agency series & the second book to deal with the warrior shifters of Galaxa. In this book we follow the somewhat rocky path that human Riley & Galaxa Prince Jag travel to find their happily ever after.
Riley, along with two of her friends, has joined matchmaker Gerri Wilder on a trip across the galaxies to visit her friend Ivy's pregnant cousin. While there, Gerri takes them to Galaxa when she's called there by the king to help with their shortage of females. Riley doesn't like to be the center of attention & is more than happy to sit back to watch Ivy & King Vander find their way to love. She has no intention of pursuing any kind of relationship with the playboy Prince Jag. But Gerri & Jag have other ideas. With danger & intrigue around every corner, will these two be able to survive long enough for Jag to catch his reluctant mate?
Most of the time, a series will hit a point when it starts to be too repetitive & it loses my interest, usually way before it hits the tenth book much less the 15th. But somehow Ms Taiden keeps finding a way to keep this series fresh & fun. In fact, it's one of my favorite series & I always look forward to the next time Gerri uses her talent to help shifters find their mates. Her characters, both the main ones & supporting cast, are likeable & engaging. The story lines never fail to spark my interest & keep me turning the pages until the book is done. All in all, this is a terrific book for an enjoyable evening & I look forward to reading it again.
I voluntarily read & reviewed this advanced reader's copy.
Great characters, a deep story line, and fun dialogue. The intrigue continues in this piece in the Paranormal Dating Agency series, and the relationships between the characters drive the story. The more you learn about these characters and what's going on around them, the more you want to know. This is a cure steady paced story that will pull you along for the ride. Riley is a little quirky. She seems quiet, but she lives loud on the inside. She has standards and even though you know from the beginning that she has a thing for Jag, she holds him off, not wanting to be another notch on his belt. Jag is smitten but he has to work for Riley's attention, and you don't really consider his flirts seriously real, just because he is such a horn dog. That's Riley's dilemma and you have to admire her fortitude, when you know that she wants to get with him so bad. Their chemistry is written so thickly that you can feel it through the pages with every contact that they have. The threat coming from the traitors in the kings court continues and keeps you wondering who is behind all the evil stuff that's going down in the kingdom. By the time the sexual attraction kicks into gear, so does the nefarious action. It's a heck of a ride and you are going to want to read this to the end in one sitting.
Omg what a phenomenal book! This is an extraordinary story. It is so completely well written and thought through. I could not put it down and read in one setting. Hence writing this review at the crack of dawn. This is the 15th book in the series if you have not read the first 14 books do not worry these books can be read as a standalone. But this review may give away some spoilers as there is a back story in the book. And it mentions others from the first few books. I so cannot wait to read the next book This is Riley and Jag's story. She is Ivy's best friend who is now Queen. As she traveled with Geri to see her friend. But we all know with Geri involved she had plans for them before they even left earth. Sneaky that one is. But Riley is fighting her attraction as she thinks he is nothing but a playboy. Only he wants her and his Xenos dose to, now he just has to show her. But if you read the last book, you know there is treachery in the place and someone is out to take the king down. And if they take out her as well and the kids she saved. Well who will care? Little do they know they are messing with the wrong woman. Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like this book, please consider leaving a review. The Authors really like it when you do; they value your opinions too.
I really liked this book! This is so much better than I expected, especially since the other books felt like they were rushed and the story was rather weak.
Here we have Jag and Riley from book 14. Jag is the prince, brother to King Vander, and Riley came along for the ride with Ivy (Vander's mate). And from the last book, they were eyeing each other already.
So Riley is extremely shy around Jag and can do nothing more than watch him. Jag is hindered by his reputation as a hound so she never takes him seriously. They're thrown together by Gerri and everyone else to do a task for the upcoming event and as a result, find themselves well... best if you read it. Hahaha. They do, however, find out more of what Maddox has done to the planet first hand and together with Vander, take the necessary steps to start correcting the rot left behind.
I guess it's because Jag and Riley discovered the state of the planet when Maddox was in charge and that they brought it to Vander's attention, that makes this story more substantial. And the fact they meet 2 very special characters who give them more purpose. This story, while set in a fantasy world, is more grounded.
I received a copy of the book for my honest review.
Born With A Silver Moon is the fifteenth book in the Paranormal Dating Agency series by Ms. Taiden. Jag is the prince of Galaxa and has a bit of a playboy reputation. Riley has traveled to Galaxa with her two friends, and while she is drawn and attracted to Jag, his reputation keeps her away. With royal wedding planning forcing them together, adding in a matchmaker, two orphans, an accidental marriage, and a plan against the royal family, Jag and Riley need to decide if they want just a one night stand, or if forever could be in their future.
This book was a lot of fun to read! It builds on the previous book (Kiss My Asteroid), but stands alone with the budding romance between Jag and Riley. Riley was sweet, quiet, but also fierce and loyal to those she loves. I loved reading her moments where she just shined. Jag had his reputation, but showed his true colors when he came to the rescue of those he loves and wanting everything with Riley. They both had their hang ups, but had to learn to trust their hearts. I really enjoyed reading this book and this series is a lot of fun! If you’re looking for a solid mix between shifter romance and sci-fi love, this is absolutely the series for you!
Riley is on the shifter planet Galaxa to help her friend Ivy plan her wedding to Vander (King of Galaxa). In the meantime, she and her other friend, Henley are still single (single and ready to mingle) and of course that means matchmaker Gerri Wilder is looking to hook them up with hot shifter men of their own. This is a moot point for Riley though. Because she has her eye on the Jag, who happens to be the Prince (of Galaxa)and Vander's brother. The downside is that Jag has a reputation of being promiscuous and flirty, which totally turns Riley off. Sure this doesn't stop her from eye humping him from across a room, she's still a woman with needs, but when they interact things usually go sideways. Riley doesn't have a whole lot of self-confidence and always mistakes Jag's flirting as him seeing her as an easy conquest, which sparks her anger and makes her push Jag away. Jag means what he says, but Riley is one tough cookie. But, don't ever count out Gerri's matchmaking prowess, she always gets her girls their guy.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book and was not compensated in any way.
Darn hot, playboy prince. She'd come for her friend's wedding to his brother the King. She was attracted to him--oh yeah she was. Yet, she did her best to blend in with the wall. No one night stands for her. Nor did she share--with any other woman, let alone half the realm. What she didn't know is that she was his other half. His lion craved her as much as he did. How was he to get past her feelings about him and make her want him? Easy, partner with her to help plan the rush wedding and coronation. They test each other. Pull to each other. Feel the need to protect each other. Their errands put them in interesting places, see special ceremonies and fight their attraction--are they successful? I loved watching our wallflower pulled from the wall to match wits with the sexy prince. Her transformation and newfound strength are amazing to watch especially with that steamy guy. You'll enjoy another Gerri match battling the problems that keep them apart. I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.
Riley and Henley as well as Karis and Gerri are helping to plan Ivy and Bander's wedding and coranation. Riley is in charge of food and entertainment. Karis enacted Jag to help her. Riley has been trying to avoid him because she has a crush on him but doesn't want a playboy. While Jag and Riley are walking through the market to get samples, a little boy runs toward them while being chased by a stall owner. They save the boy from being beaten for taking two apples. They learn that he is living on the streets with his six year old sister. They take the kids back to the palace with them. The boy named Kess and his sister Lettie, tell them some important information that will help them to find other traitors inside and outside the palace. Read to find out what happens between Jag and Riley, who is betraying the people now and whether Ivy will have her wedding or not. I am liking this spin-off of the PDA series very much. I recommend any books by this author.
This was a sweet story, and about a third into the book it really became a lovely read. But there were things I really didn't like about the H, behavior that spoiled the story for me and I thought they were brushed aside far too quickly. I dislike man-whore's, but like women, people have the right to explore their sexuality as much as they want, so I get it. But I do not like it when the man does his whoring after he's met the lady he's supposed to be attracted to. Once Jag decided to chase Riley chasing other skirts is just bad behavior. But unforgivable would be eyeing another woman while with the woman he's wooing. And that's exactly what Jag does, Riley pins him about it, but IMO what he did was disrespectful to her and yet she accepts it when he disses the other woman for her revealing clothing, another thing I don't like. If a man is with you, his eyes should stay on you no matter how much eye candy walks past and winks. And if the woman he's with is supposed to be his mate, what's he doing ogling other women?
Born with a Silver Moon is the another book in the Galaxa Warriors series by Milly Taiden. It’s Riley and Jag’s turn to tell their story and it’s just an action-packed scorcher. In true PDA style, we have the inimitable Gerry Wilder making matches and running the show behind-the-scenes. Riley is drawn to Jag like she’s been to no other and Jag knows from the moment he sees her that she is his mate. Can she overcome her cautious nature and grab what she wants? Can he overcome his player image and lay claim to the one who completes him? In the midst of this romance, we have kidnapped children, conspiracies close to home, and a royal wedding and coronation in the works. Riley and Jag take us that much closer to finding the conspirators who plot to overthrow the Galaxian throne. If you like sexy shifters and their sassy mates, you definitely owe it to yourself to read Born with a Silver Moon
Riley has a hard time believing Geri when she tells her that Jag, Galaxa's playboy prince is her perfect mate. Though he's the star of her naughty fantasies, he doesn't really notice her after all he calls her "little mouse". Though Jag's xenos has been going crazy for the quiet earth girl, Jag has been holding back. He wants to see the real Riley and gets the opportunity when they pair up while helping to plan the wedding/coronation of Ivy and Vander (Kiss My Asteroid: Galaxa Warriors). The road to HEA is not sooth though, Maddox's treachery is still being felt and consequences are still in the works. Even with a missing child, a kidnapping and, Jags xenos getting to come out and wreck vengeance a happy ending does happen. Though this book is a stand alone, it is definitely enriched if you read Vander and Ivy's story first. You can not go wrong if you pick up a PDA book my Milly Taiden, you just know you've got something good coming.
Ryley ended up going through the looking glass..well wormhole in space..when she wanted to know that her friend was safe. Gerri bloody Wilder had a lot to answer for in her opinion. She's been dumped in the palace with her friends with the ever easy on the eye Jag causing all sorts of overheating in the lady regions! She doesn't want to want him, he is after all the epitome of playboy prince, but her heart and her lust has decided otherwise.
Jag may have previously lived up to his reputation as the playboy but his heart is set on Ryley as his mate. Now he just has to somehow convince her that she is not going to be another notch on his bedpost!
These two are great fun and had a real kind of Hepburn/Tracey feel to them. The romance was of course off the charts hot and even though they outwardly may have little in common, they were really well matched.
Riley Parks usually shies away from spot light, but when she finds herself on a shifter planet in a distant galaxy. Attention is exactly what she’s getting, especially from one smokin’ hot hunk of a man name Jag. She gets super turn on when Jag is around that her mind get foggy and Riley unable speak normally. Riley tries to declined her attraction for Jag and she's afraid of being used by him when she know he is a womanizer. Royal prince, warrior, and womanizer, Jag Kasaval has his sights set on Riley. She turns his world upside down and his inner lion is clawing to claim her. Jag is not used to rejection, but he’s willing to do anything to get his mate. What he didn’t expect was a feisty hellcat beneath her quiet exterior. I like Riley's personality and I love her quote Of never estimate a quiet person. I really enjoyed Riley and Jag adopting Kes and Lettie.
Too much of the story was from Riley's POV. There wasn't enough from Jag so never felt like an actual person. Too much of a selfish, narcissistic playboy. It also felt like everyone was emotionally bullying Riley to just sleep with Jag & get it over with. I can be innapropriate & have dirry mind, but a vast majority of these book was too much even for me. And that's saying A LOT. This just had a way different vibe (negative) than most of the previous books. And then of course you still have the someone's always pregnant ASAP in the underlying story (if its not already the main theme). I actually got to about chapter 11 and had to skip to the epilogue. I'm going to try a few more books but if this keeps up, I'm not likely to finish series.
Another great PDA book! It was hot, it was funny, it had mystery, it had ummmmm... well ok you get the drift. It had everything in it. Riley wants the playboy prince, Jag. She is a quiet mouse. Didn't anyone ever tell her the cat eats the mouse? Jag has his sights set on Riley and is determined to make her his. However, she plays hard to get. Watching these two come together was awesome, it was explosive! Riley's self talk and her interactions with Gerri are beyond funny. There is still a mystery to be solved, and a wedding to plan. Piece of cake!
