Love is bound to be a wild ride in this sexy romance from New York Times bestselling author Jaci Burton.
Valerie and her two sisters are reunited at their family's Oklahoma ranch for the first time in two years. When Valerie left for the big city to become a doctor years ago, she kissed her foreman husband goodbye--along with the best sex she’d ever had. Now, seeing him brings back sizzling memories. As Valerie gets back in touch with her ranching roots, she starts to question why she left the ranch in the first place, and struggles to resist the walking temptation that is her ex-husband. As the citizens of her hometown beg her to become the town doctor, Valerie must choose between big-city life and country life—and the man she left behind.
Jaci Burton is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling, award-winning author of over 85 books. She lives in Oklahoma and when she isn’t on deadline (which is often), she can usually be found wrestling with her uncooperative garden, wrangling her dogs, watching an unhealthy amount of television, or completely losing track of time reading a great book. She’s a total romantic and longs for the happily ever after in every story, which you’ll find in all her books.. Visit her website at www.jaciburton.com for excerpts, book information and contests.
Valerie must go back to the ranch where she grew up and left over 2 years ago...of course who does she see when she arrives back home but her ex husband- hot cowboy Mason. These two always had the best chemistry between the sheets but she could not stay as she felt trapped. Mason will show her how much he and the community and her sisters need her!
I love Jaci Burton! She does small town sexy very well! This book as no exception! Mason & Valerie had chemistry from the gate and lived up to it. My only criticism was Valerie could be a little frustrating! But I loved this book and can’t wait for Brea’s book!
I love Jaci, but I have to admit novellas are a bit tough for me. If I read these as the original anthology it probably wouldn’t feel as abrupt because I would see the characters again. I’m eager to see all these happy endings though and looking forward to the next part of these.
