Most of this book begins with a look at some fairly unique projects, using different techniques. It is an interesting twist on traditional fabric arts for those looking to expand their work into a new area. The projects are not the typical flat quiltwork, and incorporate a blend of innovative ideas from designing, inspiration and methods. A short section at the end of the book includes basic quilting methods, but this feels incongruous to the rest of the book, which is trying for something more artistic.
