Buddhism for Healing
A true feeling of peace is achievable—let Buddhism for Healing show you the way.
A reference book rather than a cover-to-cover read; useful beyond its "For Healing," title - would recommend it to anyone looking to incorporate Buddhist-based practices into daily life.
In our world today, we come to take old things and try to make them fit into what is popular for the time. This book is OK, but New Age surrounds it just like New Age took over Native American, belief and religion, Buddhism will be as well. The Buddha’s teachings by themselves are worth reading, learning, living. Nothing needs to be or should be added.
Much like The Middle Path of Buddhism, this book walks in the middle of New Age self-help and traditional Dharmic practices. I found that throughout the book, the New Age spiritual practices blended well with the Dharma and were not aggressively modern enough to take away from tradition.
