This the the story of Dustin Martin and his mother Deborah who had taken a vacation to Serene Bay Villa on the island of the Caribbean in the Dominica island. His mother was born and raised in Dominica and had to leave when she was 15 years old. Dustin was raised born and raised in Miami, Florida where he and his mother live. His father died when he was 15, he was coming home from being with his mistress and was killed by this socialite who was driving under the influence, he was knocked down and died on the spot. So it has just been him and his mother for a while. He built up a real estate company and has The Big Real Estate Podcast on You tube with over two million subscribers. Tiffany the Baker owned TAC, which stands for Tiffany's Artistic Cakes. She is called by Dustin to get her to make him and his mom birthday cakes for December 31 and January 1. Mom was born on December 31 and he was born January 1. She didn't want to commit to baking their cakes but since her best friend Corrine had recommended her as the best baker on the island. So this is where this story begins between the Beautiful Baker and Dustin the Wealthy CEO of real estate. This is a easy reading romance story. I gave this 5 stars because the plot was good and she told it in a short amount of time. Good read.

Tiffany and Dustin

Dustin is on holiday with his mother for their birthdays in his mother's hometown of Serene Bay Villa, Dominica. As soon as they arrive and their hostess Corinne has checked them in. He asks about cakes for both their birthdays. Corinne gives him her bestfriend Tiffany Davis, who just so happens to own Tiffany Artistic Cakes (TAC). When Dustin calls her as soon as he gets to his room, he just has to meet the woman on the other end of the line! Thankfully she feels the same way and even though she knows she will not be able to make his deadline with all the other cake obligations she has, she agrees to meet with him the next day. What happens next surprises both of them! You will need to read this great story by Lynn Jacque to find out how her mother and sister treat her and how Dustin handles them!

Too Sweet but left me with a lot of unanswered questions

Dustin is very determined to get his Beautiful Baker. I really didn't associate Cinderella as being abused until recently. But as Tiffany realized she was being abused. I wish we would have found out how did they get away from the island. Or did they make a home on the island? How did they get her passport? What was her mother's connection with the police force? Did her mom use that connection to prevent Tiffany from leaving? Did her mom and sister interfere with the New York man? Was she still a baker?

I loved it

This book was so sweet and romantic. It was my first time reading a book by this author, but it certainly will not be the last. I loved how determined Dustin was, and how he was willing to stand up to his future mother-in-law.

Terrible editing

The incomplete and mixed up sentences, horrid punctuation & and wrong grammar made this hard to read & unenjoyable. Needs re-editing & republishing!

Distracting editing errors

Needs editing. Commas and quote marks have specific, useful purposes. Okay storyline, but under developed. (Additional words to meet review requirement.)

Pathetic

So badly proof read. Stilted conversation. A list of ideas strung together, but not written about. Shallow characters. Don’t bother
