A new author to me. This book is about a one night stand that turned into second chance years later. The story follows Bonnie and Rowan,. Rowan is in the military and meets Bonnie who’s almost finished college. The have a lovely one night and agreed to meet again the next day but Rowan was instantly redeployed and he stands her up unable to explain. Years pass as they're both unable to.contact each other because they didn’t exchange name or phone numbers. I gave a 3 star rate but I could have gone even lower due to my frustration over the ridiculous length and lack of pages. No where in the title does it suggest this is a couple of chapters calling itself a book. This is something that too many authors are doing and it drives me crazy. 30 pages to actual read, if that, is not long enough to do more than properly introduce a character and set up a story. I don’t understand why authors do it, well, it’s not rocket science, but people will pay an appropriate price for a proper book. What bothers me most is readers are not given any indication nor is it clearly marked in the title to warn us. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve purchased a book at $4-6 and forgotten to check the page length only to find out I have barely 20-30 pages. I bought this book at the .ca store it was 4.00 for barely 30 pages of actual reading. If I was to read the series I’d be paying about 20 bucks for 300 pages of reading. To me, this is crazy and when I am not warned I feel ripped off and let down by the author. For me, I won’t buy anything again.

If you can suspend disbelief and revel in beautiful, fateful coincidences you can really enjoy this story of a beautiful one night stand turned second chance years later. Rowan, our hunky military man, meets a vacationing almost college graduate Bonnie one night in Italy. What they share is a beautiful instant connection that has them both acting out of character. They agreed to meet again the next day but unfortunately Rowan is instantly redeployed and he stands her up unable to explain. Years pass as they're both unable to.contact each other. Word to the wise. Always get last names and phone numbers! I really loved the sweet coincidence that involves their second meeting. It's a great story. Fast paced and short but we are still able to get an idea of who our MCs are.

Bonnie and Rowan met for one night in Italy and shared the start of a romance, but he never returned the next day - his unit shipped out early that morning so he could not contact her. Six years later, he comes home to his grandmother and finds a young boy that she is watching for a neighbor. The mother returns from work and it is Bonnie, realizing that Luca is also his son.

The romance has a roller coaster ride with miscommunications and realizing they still thought about each other a lot. Luca is happy, grandma is happy and after another misunderstanding, they are both happy as well. The characters are terrific, with strength and believability. Intense emotions and feelings make the love they feel so strong and supportive. Loved the ending, two years later.

Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. There were some "oh no" "oh wow" " what the what" moments and add in uncanny mishaps, and shenanigans the good kind that makes you keep turning the pages till last page has been turned. Bonnie is on a trip to Italy with her friends when she meets Rowan on leave from the military and it is the best time /trip of her life thus far until Rowan is shipped out overnight with no way of reaching Bonnie. He fell in love with here that one night yet there is no way to reach the women he loves but that is what second chances are for five years down the line will/can she forgive him for leaving her and can they finally find happiness?

They instantly fall for one another and share one hot and steamy night - then before they can meet up the next day as planned, Rowan is deployed to the Middle East. Five Years later, fate brings them back together - only Bonnie is no longer alone - she has a young son, Luca. Neither Rowan nor Bonnie were ever able to move on - will they take the second chance offered to them or will Rowan's abrupt departure years ago and Bonnie's secrets keep them apart?

Rowan meet Bonnie in Italy while he was waiting on orders, not expecting to be deployed he made plans to met up with her the next day but never came. Several years later fate brought them back together, but with a surprise.

Deployed Overnight is a beautiful second chance story where fate has an amazing hand in bringing the characters back together. Rowan and Bonnie have a great chemistry it is only because of duty and time that are force to be apart, but with time comes growth.

This is a great addition to the series.

Very short fun read with a story line that flows smoothly with easily relatable characters. While on vacation in Italy Bonnie meets military man Roman. They are instantly in lust and love and they have great fun and spend a wonderful and extremely sexy and hot time together before promising to meet the next day but Rowan never show up. 5 years later they meet up unexpectedly and after a tremulous and difficult start of the relationship they do have a HEA. It was a fun sweet read that has you rooting for the characters.

Rowan and Bonnie have a magical night in Italy. Rowan is supposed to meet Bonnie for a date but his team gets called to do a mission leaving Bonnie alone. A few months later, she has morning sickness. A few years later, Rowan returns home to his Gram's house. There is where he meets Luca. Later, he sees Bonnie again. Can Bonnie forgive Rowan? What will happen when Rowan learns that Luca is his? This is a short read.

This is a sweet with a touch of heat quick Insta- lust/love connection story...
A bar in Italy. Military man Rowan sees good girl Bonnie and approaches her they hit it off. Bonnie decides she could be a bad girl for HIM. They decide to meet the next day but he never shows and she doesn't understand why. He is devastated he has no way to contact her. Will their unforgettable connection still be there when they run into each other years later?
This is the first story I have read from Ruby Walters and I will be looking to add her stories to my TBR!

This is my first book from this author and I absolutely liked it alot. Rowan is watching his teammates from the military have a night out but what he didn't expect was to find someone to spend the night with before they shipped out .Bonnie is overseas on vacation when one night of of passion turns into something more with a big surprise. Rowan is back after being gone 4 years but gets a shock of his life can they make their way back to each other or is it to ate?

This is a super short story that takes less than thirty minutes to read so I am not sure that it is worth the asking price of over $4 but after saying that it is a fun read

Rowan and Bonnie are both in Italy when they spend one wonderful night together but Rowan is military and he is called away They have no way to contact one another as they never exchanged more than first names Five years late fate plays a hand and they meet again and Rowan gets the surprise of his life Will they walk away from one another again or is the start of a life together You will have to read to see

I rate this story 3.5 stars.

This was a cute story that really makes you think that fate can happen! Rowan and Bonnie have quite the chemistry together,and is it ever steamy hot! When they meet again, the sparks are still there, and it was so sweet as to the circumstances of how it happened. This novella was sweet, and I thought it was quite up-lifting and entertaining.

The author has given us characters we can care about. While in Italy, Bonnie, college student, and Rowan, military man, meet and immediately have a connection. Then, he disappears and there is no way to find him. When they are given a second chance, they will have to decide if they belong together or not.

After meeting and spending one amazing night together in Italy, Rowan and Bonnie lose touch. They don't know the others last name or how to contact them. In a set of coincidences and serendipity they meet again 5 years later. Rowan is in for some big surprises and major sucking up and apologizing.

This is another love at first sight/meet-cute/second-chance romance novel that was short, sweet, and to the point. The characters, Bonnie and Rowan, are believable as a college student and the military man on leave, and the setting of Italy, ideal. The conflict twist in this plot works well in the story.
