the fact that i have already read 479k words and they are still not together is actually killing me. i thought i was going have a heart attack because of how stressed i was during the last chapters. i think i will take my time with the last 3 books...

If Draco had seen the Mirror of Erised in the blue line's first year, he probably would have seen Potter in it back then as well.

Best one in the series so far ⭐️
Pulled an all-nighter to finish it so I am writing this review with only 27 minutes of sleep
Had a small mental breakdown while reading the graveyard scenes and had to call my best friend to yell about it but it was ALL GOOD in the end
Starting the next one after posting this, sleep is for the weak
Edit: Also the rope scene definitely the rope scene

It had taken more than three years since Draco awoke from a nightmare of a mirror he could not break, but finally, Lucius Malfoy had seemed to come to the realization his son might be powerful. Or at least that there was something unspeakably wrong with him.
In a previous book Draco has accepted that he cannot be a passive observer and now is actively trying to stop the Dark Lord rising & save Cedric.
At the same time there is an another major factor in this time line that wasn't in Draco’s past life. His wand. A wand that could be slowly twisting Draco as it have done with his Aunt Bellatrix. Plus Draco has PTSD from his first life that impacts his decision making and behaviour.
Not sure what to think about Drarry. Harry is in love with Draco. Draco is/was obsessed with Potter from his first life, and has been keeping distance from this Harry but hasn't managed not to fall in love with Harry. Which wouldn't be a problem but Harry is 15 and while Draco looks 15, and is occupying his 15 year old body he is 7 years older.

This series continues to be brilliant and entertaining.
It's the fourth year at Hogwarts and Draco Malfoy's groundhog life continues. He knows Voldemort will return from the dead. He knows it will happen because of a portkey at the Triwizard Tournament. And he's decided to stop it.
I adore the dynamics between characters here - Draco's family might be terrible, but he's slowly acquiring more of it. His relationship with Luna is a delight, and his friendship with Hermione, likewise, as well as his unlikely camaraderie with Ron.
As time goes by, he's moderately less self-accusing, but I have to admit I spent too much of this book wondering if his newfound confidence wouldn't end up hurting the people he likes - and Harry in particular (something about brewing a dark potion and feeding it to him with the best intentions got me quite anxious; but... it turned out alright?).
Great series. Deeply enjoying it.

This is really good writing. I was wondering why it was called Hecate and then it all just came together. For one brief moment, I actually thought that Draco had done it. He had saved Harry. But obv the plot won out and Voldermort lives again. Even worse, Draco breaks up with Harry. It still makes no sense to me. He chose the light and is even staying with Sirius now. Why'd he do it? Why does he still think himself unworthy?! At first I got it because of the whole trauma and stuff. But this is now, when he's proven himself and even talked to Luna about working on himself. I am so angry at that heartbreaking ending with Harry! Book five better make up for this!

La oscuridad que lo rodea es atrayente
Toda la trama del libro es increíble, nunca aburre, y explica el sistema de magia de sangre de forma estupenda.
Los primos favoritos uniendo fuerzas para salvar a Harry llenaron mi corazón.

LAS BENDITAS SESIONES DE PRACTICA DRARRY y su tensión sexual como que no.

Pero no todo fueron lágrimas de alegría; ¿Podemos hablar del desprecio de Draco hacia si mismo? ¿El cómo se atormentó con la profecía? Y piensa que está bien que en cualquier momento pueda morir, toda la oscuridad que emana su varita, y el MALDITO BARTY JR, lo odio con la pasión de mil soles.
Los 3 últimos capítulos simplemente me rompieron.

Los anteriores fics de esta saga son buenos, ¡este es increíble! Creo que aquí la trama comienza a ponerse realmente buena y se puede ver las verdaderas intenciones de la autora.
Me gusta la caracterización de los personajes, pero Draco no es Draco. Sigue su esencia, sobretodo en los primeros libros, pero a partir de cierto punto ya no lo siento igual. Es realista, teniendo en cuenta todo por lo que pasó.
Realmente bueno.

This is so so so goooooooood!! The slow burn is almost not an issue until these two get really close to actually end it and then play with all of our hearts but also because everything not related to the pairing is GOLD. Absolute gold.
Anxiously awaiting to see if Draco will change things by making big choices or just by altering tiny details even as we end year 4 and everything takes on big repercussions is amazing.
As the stakes are getting bigger, the writer’s ability to write a time travel Fic that is both a realistic and faithful rewrite of the same events & story while simultaneously being a fix-it fic AND a completely different tale with the same protagonists is mind blowing.
OOTP is my least favorite book because of how disheartening it is to see everything go so wrong and having to witness it through Harry’s eyes while he’s being thoroughly manipulated and kept in the dark from Dumbledore and Tom Riddle. So I’m really eager to read this new version. Many things that went terribly wrong here could still happen and having to read about both Bellatrix & Dolores again will be painful but I’m super excited to see how Draco will defy them all, ministry, death eaters & Order of the Phoenix members alike. And most of all, I’m hoping Draco being who he is here will help Harry to gain more agency & not allow himself to be anyone’s puppet any longer.

No quiero irme a dormir con estos sentimientos, me siento totalmente destrozada 😭.
Estos dos últimos capítulos me mantuvieron muy preocupada, estresada, triste y ansiosa. Y realmente no me puedo ir con esa despedida de Harry y Draco, es que no puedoooo. Me sienta muy mal que Draco no pudo ser sincero con sus sentimientos ya que él no se siente merecedor de Harry. Me sienta mal que Harry sufra de esa manera por Draco... No sé que pasará en el siguiente libro, pero necesito que arreglen su relación, así yo podré ser feliz y descansar tranquila :).
Dejando mi desastibilidad emocional que estoy teniendo. Cada libro supera al otro, este libro se ha vuelto mi favorito en momentos drarry, y es que hay el triple que en los anteriores, y fui de verdad muy feliz disfrutandolos. También estuvieron los momentos en que Draco se da cuenta de los sentimientos que tiene Harry por él. Cuando Harry le declara su amor. Cuando se besan ❤.
Fui muy feliz, aunque ahora estoy destrozada.

So much pain! Too much! But finally, FINALLY, some actual Drarry intimacy. I’ve never waited so long for two guys to kiss before. I swore if it didn’t happen in this book, I wouldn’t finish the series! And when it finally DID happen, I just thought, “Oh my gosh! This is truly a catastrophe. This writer likes us to suffer.”
Ugh!!!! After all that rotten teasing by Draco in the first four books, this just seemed CRUEL! 3/5 stars ⭐️ for causing poor Harry so much pain! This is Draco self consciousness and self coming to awareness central.
"Close your eyes," Draco ordered, and once again, Harry did. With no idea if it would work, Draco leaned forward and pressed his lips against Harry Potter's for the very first time. They were very soft, and sweaty and nervous, stiff beneath Draco's. And then Harry sighed, parted his lips, and let Draco press a full kiss to them with all the sweetness in the world, as the Portkey spun them around as they kissed and turned the world inside out and took them to the graveyard.”

Dioses, tuve fe, mucha fe, y al final todo se fue al carajo. Sin embargo, creo que, al menos con Draco viviendo con mis papis Wolfstar, va a estar a salvo. Ojalá puedan llevar a Harry luego y lo saquen de la casa de los Dursley, se lo merece. Lo de cómo volvió Voldemort... FUE TERRIBLE, LLORÉ MUCHO, NO SOPORTÉ. Y encima de todo, Draco y Harry quedaron en nada con sus sentimientos, es que esto es demasiado para mi pobre corazón. Lo que sí me alegra es que Cedric no muriera, hace que, al menos en Hogwarts, las cosas no se vean tan oscuras. Creo que ya lo dije, pero lo diré de nuevo, me encanta esta saga, a pesar de los altibajos emocionales que me genera.

I knew I was going to give it 5 stars right after reading the Charlie episode during the Cup!
It only proved the rating being fairly earned with the rest of the book.
I am always in love with Hogwarts drarry, the rewrite of early years. And this one is such a good example

oh this one quite literally broke my heart. i don't even know what to say. i have nothing in my mind besides every single word in this fic... there are still a few things that bother me with this series but unlike most, the good outweighs the bad in a way that makes me forget there even are things i dislike about it. this and the house of black are for sure my favourites out of this saga (so far at least)
i might take a break from drarry fics now after reading 3 of these. might try something lighter to make me relax a bit and not have my heart in my mouth constantly

peak fan fiction. what can I say🤷♀️ no but this had no right to be this good, the whole work has no right to be this good. this ff made me cry... like what??!! but anyway this was a good read and I can't wait to start the next one although it's even longer than this but ehh whatever. I fear that after I finish this ff I will not appreciate a real book as much, perhaps I need to finish atyd or maybe babel will do me good. also the fact that they're still not together is mind-boggling, but ah-well onto the next.

Anyway. This was talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before.
I loved it sooo much. Draco and harry’s chemistry was through the roof!!! Harry asking him to the yule ball and draco being oblivious as hell… The nafragium ritual, the lake triwizard task, their secret dueling lessons, and god… the graveyard scene…… crying.
