This series only becomes more interesting and intricate as it goes on - an alternate universe that's slowly diverging from the original, eerily similar in points, but also different enough that you never quite know what to expect.
While I find myself a bit uncomfortable with the romance side of things (Draco has spent such a long time pining from a distance and rejecting the object of his affections that the chemistry between the two feels off), and I'm not so sure that grand scenes of public trials and teary weddings are really my thing, the plot and unfolding events are brilliant.
I also find that relationships are a definite strong point: found families that work together so well, blood families that don't, friendships that develop on bases different than in the original (and perhaps they're truer, for that), and enmities that run deep.

Draco/Harry, Remus/Sirius, past Draco/Theo(in different time and not with this Theo)

AU Time travel
Some part of him had doubted it would work. But she shrieked and held onto her wrist with more agony than he could have dreamed, as the talon shape reignited as if it was the first time.
It was beautiful, really, the line and sharp twist of it seeming to hover in the air above the scorching flesh. Like a musical note, at the point where a piece's most striking leitmotif twisted into a minor key for the very first time. He remembered Harry's scar from her in the blue loop, I must not tell lies written forever into that hallowed skin, and it was all he could do not to laugh at the sounds she made.
Some part of him had doubted, even if it did work, whether he would actually be able to make himself go through with it, given his old damnable squeamishness. He'd hated causing pain, when it came to being forced to use Cruciatus by the Dark Lord. He would have thought anything close to torture would have once again made his skin crawl and breath seize up. Instead, he simply felt a condescending amusement.
And stronger. He felt that too.
Slowly the wand is twisting Draco & I really want to know what's going on.

Wow, that was SO much better than I thought it was going to be. I had expectations and the author just completely blew my mind. OMG!
Okay okay, I'll try listing out every amazing thing I can remember.
1. Draco and Harry FINALLY said I love you to each other. Lol it's small in the overall list but this was the pinnacle for me. Draco finally getting over his shit and saying I love you back🥳🥳🥳🥳
2. Draco absolutely dominating Umbridge in school! He basically made her a non-issue.
3. The Sirius trial! That deserved it own chapter and made me so happy!
4. Draco becoming slytherin's captain and winning them the house cup!
5. Draco's power. Naufragiam, Sordespiro ritual with the moonstone dagger, He is singlehandedly responsible for the Sirius being alive. He killed Nott and Peter. Also, the dark magic saving their ass in the ministry. The blood magic getting rid of Voldermort. He defeated Bellatrix Lestrange in a duel! He is able to stand up and protect himself as well as those he loves. It was also just really nice watching him flourish like this. (If he doesn't get all 12 OWLS I WILL BE PISSED!!!)
6. Hermione, Luna and Draco being the best trio. I mean, they're all really smart on their own, but they come together and it's magic.
7. Sirius and Remus getting married. Then starting the process to adopt Draco. Helped him change his name. (It's awful that he got disowned by his mom. Who is way more active as a death eater in this AU) Draco Lupin Black is one hell of name tho. Also better legacy!
8. The family tree. Watching them remove the death eaters and restore the good ones🤎🤎
9. Harry's occlumency being taught by Draco in this AU was the best decision! Not only does he actually learn it but it was useful to avoid the trap that happened in canon.
I definitely need to re-read this series again and again to get every single amazing thing that happened. I officially declare this series the Slytherin AU.

Cada parte se vuelve muchísimo más buena que la anterior y esta no es la especion.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐❤
En esta parte podemos ver un gran avance en la relación de Harry y Draco, en la que puedes disfrutar de muchos momentos Drarry en las que de verdad se quieren devorar jajajaja, pero tristemente siempre los interrumpen 🥲. Claro que este no se salva de las peleas de celos o de rivalidad jajajaja porque las tuvieron pero bueno, ellos con besos todo arreglan xD.
"Te amamos y queremos que seas parte de nuestra familia. Lo que sea que tengamos que hacer para probarlo, lo haremos" continuó Sirius, sacudiéndolo de nuevo, la campanilla de su anillo presionada contra el hombro de Draco. "¡Así que deja de pensar eso, deja de darte lástima y deja de pretender que no le importas a nadie! ¡Nos importas! Haríamos cualquier cosa por tí, Draco y no es condicional. Somos tu familia-"
Y es que el último capítulo es una caricia al alma, realmente te hace olvidar de todo el martirio que ha pasado y el que se viene.
Y que forma tan maravillosa de terminar con un capítulo que Draco siendo adoptado pasando a llamarse Draco Lupin Black y modificando el tapiz donde pasa a ser el hijo adoptivo de Sirius y Remus 😭❤.
Es que se lo merece, Draco se merece una familia que lo ame y lo protega y Sirius y Remus se lo podrán dar 😭😭❤.

Me gusta sobre todo por como es el wolfstar aquí pero en serio me caga y mucho como Draco trato a Harry en este libro. Lo trató fatal y me sigo preguntando porque Harry simplemente no lo dejó por su salud mental porque no, hay demasiadas cosas mal en esto. Es muy tóxico en varias cosas y Draco se victimiza bastante, en fin.

Adoro como se desenvolvió por fin la relación de Harry y Draco, este libro sin duda es el mejor de la saga. La boda de Sirius y Remus fue de llorar, aunque tengo que mencionar que no solo lloré con este libro, hice berrinche, reí, me dió cólera, y me alegré. Los Kingsnakes es ciertamente lo mejor de este libro, aunque a Draco ya se le había advertido que era por órdenes de sus padres, se desarrolló muy bien su trabajo en equipo y sin duda los episodios dónde los mencionaban eras mis preferidos, recuerdo cuánto lloré cuando Harry atrapó la snitch en ese primer partido. Theo Nott es un personaje que sin duda deja que hablar, a mí parecer, es uno de los mejores de esta saga, mejor que Harry o incluso Sirius y Remus, está tan bien escrito que no sabes si amarlo u odiarlo, tanto que estuvo en los peores momentos de Draco( nueva línea) y le hizo daño (en la pasada, y prox en esta), es completamente entendible su personaje, aunque muchos aspectos pudieron solucionarse como le mencionó múltiples veces Draco a Theo. El vacío y trauma emocional que dejó Theo en Draco fue lo que hizo que la mayor parte del tiempo Draco se alejara de Harry (hirriendolo) además de los temas de manipular por protección hacía Potter, cosa que muchos aún no entienden y se enojan con Draco. La pelea en los vestidores de los Kingsnakes fue más que todo por la falta de comunicación por parte de los personajes y por Draco, que al ver que Harry siempre, en todas las líneas de tiempo le ganaba en todo, volvió a sentir la envidia y odio que le tenía a Harry en su primer vida.
Deteste lo que sucedió con Cissy, aunque es bastante crudo y real, siento que se pudo haber solucionado si Draco hubiese tenido una mejor relación con su madre en esa línea del tiempo, Narcissa entendería lo que pasaba y pasaría en el mundo mágico por la guerra y probablemente se uniría a la orden. Aunque eso no justifica el daño que le hizo ella a Draco tras nunca ayudarlo en los castigos "sangre pura" de Lucius.
Sin duda es un 5 estrellas, pero solo pensaría releer ciertos caps en un futuro.

It took me so long to read this only because I don't want to finish the whole saga yet 😭
After the other books, this one was just amazing, IT HAD EVERYTHING. It's definitely my favorite.

5th year done.
Sirius didn’t die and Draco is no longer a Malfoy.
One thing I really like about this series is the attention to details. When Arthur was hurt by Nagini, all the kids were sent to Dumbledore’s office in the middle of the night. The Weasleys were all in pjs but when Severus went to wake up Draco he made him put on clothes. At the end, only Draco was dressed up.
Tell me if that is not art. The way of making a point while not saying anything.

no le doy las 5 estrellas por que es un fanfic PERO QUE PASADA DE LIBRO NO PUEDO CREERLO, todo, la manera en la que está reescrito, y está formulando su propia trama, no dependiendo para nada de la original, me peso que no conociéramos al medio hermano de hagrid, y la misma lejanía a este que he sentido desde el libro 3… me siguen dando cringe algunas escenas PERO VENIMOS POR EL DRARRY Y ES INCREÍBLE, AMO TODO COMPLETAMENTE

Ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, or have more things at stake. This was just absolutely brilliant, and I’d like to be buried with a paper copy of this, please. The ending killed me. I know I still have two more books to go, but I could tell from book one that this was going to reach the legendary All The Young Dudes status of “epic”. And it has.

A MASTERPIECE! This was my favourite one from the saga until now. It had me on edge all the time, but also made me smile and laugh. It was worth al the slow burn of the previous books. The writing is just majestic. The author really knows so much about the HP world and has incredible character writing skills. I'm so happy I decided to start this saga although they are 7 books again. :)

So much snogging. Harry leaves love bites nearly everyday on Draco’s neck, and I’m here for it because this series is DARK. Clearly headed full steam toward a tragic ending, I’m convinced. So we needed the snogs. Enjoyed this one (book 5/7) a great deal. 4.2/5 stars ⭐️

Things were picking up for sure in this one. It felt tough at times to read. Harry is still a little cry baby at times. Finally getting to the part where the relationships are blooming. Sometimes I like Draco, sometimes I don’t. I’m committed to reading the rest of the series at this point lol.
