•Sarge
Being a member of the Rugged Skulls MC, women were never an issue. They would fall at my feet to spend the night with me, but none of them seemed to fill the void in me from that one woman years ago. After a Dear John letter that destroyed me, I kept all women at arm’s length, until one-day. She walked back into my life and it looks like she is here to stay. They say there’s a fine line between love and hate, and if I fall on the wrong side, it may just be my undoing. Only time will tell.

•Estelle
Starting over in a new place is stressful enough, but add in a pregnancy that’s left me flying solo and those stress levels go sky high. Dating has always been hard for me, after the love of my life was killed in action, but I did my best to move on and look where that got me. One day a ghost stops me in my tracks and my world tilts on its axis. Will he let me explain or will he hate me until the end of time? Only time will tell.

I have to state from the get go that I did not care for Sarge. He is a jerk and he is very hateful. Now Estelle...hmm weak, very weak. I get where this story had to get to but seriously he’s the sergeant at arms and he was blindsided...yeah just no! I gave this three stars based on other characters and the writing is good. Storyline not so much.

Ok

Ok first off I'll say that I really should have given it 2 stars but the story was good. However, it got old how she was weak saying one thing & then having a total turn around in the next second! I mean come on he asked her to marry him & she's sitting there thinking how she hopes they can have a forever?! Then he spouts some stuff about not needing her to answer & next thing you know she's all happy that she found her forever?! Does this chick have bipolar disorder? Plus she somehow magically figures out what her parents did?! I mean I figured they would talk about what happened & piece it together but she just gets the idea that they lied to her?! All these reasons plus the typos are why this book deserves 2 stars but what this book started out as is why I gave it 3. Not sure I'd recommend it to anyone.

Epic

I was so curious about Sarge and his past. The way he and Estelle fight not only their past but each other is both frustrating and amazing. I loved their fierce intensity! one again, Amy pulled many emotions out of me. Its a beautiful story that is well written and heartfelt.

3 ehh stars. Once the hero learns the truth tbey reconcile very fast....I'm not sure why the h believed her parents. That was an unbelievable story and they didn't have any real proof. Plus out of all the people why would the armed forces call her parents if somthing happened???🤦‍♀️

Absolutely Brilliant

I was pulled into story from the beginning, staying there until I had read every single word that was written. I even had my mini movie playing along in my head, which for me personally makes the story even better.
Twists, turns and surprises await you throughout this story. Some of the surprises are large, while others are small. Some you may see coming while others you won't. Some will pull on your heart strings and others may hit you hard. Each and everyone of the surprises hold equal importance within the story making it a truly fantastic story.
The emotions that the characters go through can be felt, each and everyone. I did find myself getting frustrated at the main male character a time or two, but he redeemed himself. I went through each emotions that the characters went through, I don't mind admitting I cried a few times, so if your anything like me, you might want to have the tissues handy.
Any Davis has done again a story not to be missed. If you haven't read anything by this author you are missing out on an awesome experience.
I wish we could give it more than 5 stars because me it is worth more.
Loved the story from a truly amazing author.

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
Sarge is the fourth book in the ‘’rugged skulls MC’’ series. I devoured this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline action packed. Sarge and Estelle were once college sweethearts until Estelle’s parents got involved. Years later and Sarge hates Estelle, he refuses to hear her side and realise that she isn’t the guilty party.
Now a single parent, Estelle tries to get on with her life but she still loves the man that hates her. Will Sarge and Estelle ever get a second chance together?
The chemistry between Sarge and Estelle is clear to see and I liked them together. I liked the build up to them getting back together.
I really liked Seb.
I hated Estelle’s parents and Grant!
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

actually closer to 3 1/2 stars

I really wished I’d have known it was 5th or 6th in a series before I started it but unfortunately it wasn’t marked that way on Amazon when I got it for free. I like getting freebies when it comes to a brand new author because you never know what you’re going to get.

I liked the characters and the storyline was ok, but I felt like I was missing a huge chunk of it since I hadn’t read the books before this one. It felt so out of place, probably because it was. LoL Hopefully the author was able to fix this on Amazon and please know not to read this one first.

Not sure if I’ll read the others or not yet. It’ll depend on price.

There was some editing issues, but not too bad. Some parts seemed to drag on forever to the point I started skimming through them. It didn’t take long to finish but it was kind of hard to get into it.

Can’t really recommend because I’m not sure if I’ll read more from her. But I highly recommend that you start with book 1, if you’re interested in this author.

When Sarge saw Estelle again he was furious, the woman who was supposed to be his future while he enrolled in the military broke it off with a Dear John letter. He derailed for awhile but his MC brothers helped him break through the hurt she caused. Years later she is back, pregnant with another mans baby. Even though she is divorced and a single mom he wants nothing to do with her which is very difficult since she is close friends with the women in his MC.

Estelle just wants to move on, she has been betrayed in more ways than one and when Sarge lashes out she has had enough. Secrets are revealed and she finds herself being threatened, she needs one man to help her and that is Sarge but will he be willing to help her and her baby?

I liked this a lot but Sarge is so obstinate in the beginning it was a bit more angsty than I thought. This was one I had not planned to read because I thought Estelle was who Sarge insisted she was but I was so wrong. I really enjoyed this one quite a bit and Zeb, can't wait for his book.

Sarge was an emotional, action filled, fast-paced ride I could not put down!! I was curious about Sarge and Estelle's story after reading about them in previous books and now that I finally got their story I can most definitely say it was what I had hoped for and more.
Lies and Miscommunication tore these two apart years ago and left them both heartbroken and Sarge beyond angry. Now back in each others lives Will Sarge be able to let his anger go especially when the truth is revealed? Is their relationship repairable? And will Sarge be there to protect Estelle and her daughter when trouble comes a knocking?
Their journey in this story was riddled with suspense, action, heartbreak, humour, steam, swoon-worthy moments, and some push and pull. It had me laughing, frustrated, gasping, swooning, smiling, and on the edge of my seat with anticipation.
Love this MC Series and I can't wait to see who call 'DIBS' next!!!

So good i loved Sarge

Wow what a fab story, Sarge really is a burley birker, but i loved his character . He has Ptsd, which is not a thing to be laughed at and now finally after a time he is settling down. Then along comes a women he hasnt seen for a while, he thought she ditched him, however he couldnt of been completetely from the truth.
Estelle, thought the love of her life died while in the Army, but the truth couldnt be even farther away. There he was before her eyes, however he was spitting mad at her, even though he didnt know the whole story.
Things at the club are heating up, drugs are out on the streets and it seems that Estelle is been targeted and the only person she knows she can turn to is Sarge.
Will he finally give her the time to explain what happened on her end, or will he continue his meaness to her?

This book was such a wonderful story, i just loved all this series so far.

So i am reading these in all sorts of different orders.. Well i started with book 4.. I am going to go back to book 1 and read them in order now.. LOL..

I just LOVED Sarge and Telle (Estelle).. Sarge started out as a complete dousch nozzel.. but I understand where he was coming from.. just wish he would have listened the first time Estelle wanted to talk.. but nope.. he being a C U Next Tuesday.. and being pig headed.. he didn't want to hear it.. but he totally redeemed himself. and Estelle.. I loved her.. but I hate that her Ex reversed everything she was when she was with Sarge (Clint when they were young) but you see that feisty woman when Sarge pushes her...

And can we talk about ZEB!!! OMG. I totally 1 clicked his book.. along with all of the others in the Rugged Skulls MC..

Good boredom buster

Obviously I'm an idiot, I started the Rugged Skulls with Sarge's book. I only slightly felt like I had missed the lead into how Sarge ends up with Zeb and a teeny bit of the conflict introduced between Sarge and Estelle. It didn't take away from enjoying the book though. This isn't my usual read as I generally find them pretty quick to finish and lacking in any real depth to the story. Doesn't make a it a bad book, though. It held my attention for the time it took me to read it. I enjoyed the characters, Zeb is a hoot and I'll be interested to see where Amy takes his story.
I absolutely could have done with out the c word being tossed around like air, but whatever the author feels builds her characters personalities is what they should write.

At some point I will go back and start at the beginning of the series.

Once Sarge saw Estelle thing Happen. No I am not going tell you what a lot them. You need the surprise of them. I will tell you. Sarge would do anything to. Protect Estelle’s daughter and his new found son with everything. Of course loved catching up with all the couples and brother. I could not put it down. An amazing MC not to be missed.

This is a new series to me but I will read more. The club members and ole ladies are each amazing characters on their own and are around a lot in the book which I love in the Mc books I read.

First time around Sarge and Estelle were young and in love. He joined the military and received a Dear John while he was deployed. Now they meet again she with a new baby, him with a teenage son he just found out about. Zeb and Hazel add their own bit of amazing to the story.

Can they get past their past for a future family? There are secrets, and unbelievable enemies, but through it all there is the family of the club to help them find a way--if they live long enough.

Step together...ride together

Clint "Sarge" Burkes is a complicated man...his personal war within himself thanks to the Army and a certain lady who he thought, for years, smashed his heart to pieces all those years ago made him how he is now.
Estelle is a vivacious and strong single parent, who craves to be back with Sarge, but because of massive lies was stopped from having what she wished for.
Throw in a beautiful baby,a talented teenage boy and you have all the love and solidarity of the Rugged Skulls yet again!
Sarge and Estelle are stronger together than ever before!
No one stands alone...

-Sarge and Estelle-

I had no clue Sarge was so kinky!! I mean DAMN 💦🤤
But besides the sex, this book mostly centered around family. Sarge finds out something he didn’t know about for 15 years, and Estelle finally had her daughter, Hazel. Estelle and Sarge have a pretty nasty past. She thought he died in action and he thought she broke up with him in a dear john letter. Because of these 2 things, they have to walk through the lies to find out the truth.
There is a bit of danger in this book with people threatening Estelle and Hazel. Not to mention Sarge goes missing for a few hours…
This book gave me all the feels!!!
Onto Rookies story!

I was a bit disappointed with this one. The whole story behind their separation just didn't work for me. I was willing to overlook it until I got to the part where we found out she used to talk to Sarge's sister all the time but just stopped when she was told he was killed. It made no sense to me that she wouldn't have called his sister to cry and mourn together. Then she would have known the truth of what was really going on, and the sister would have been able to let Sarge know. Just didn't make sense.

Emotional Rollercoaster

In the series this is one of my favorites. Finally getting to Estelle and Sarge's story I just wanted a happy ending right away. But I'm glad that's not the way it happened. Amy Davies was able to capture the true pain and anger of the characters while also getting emotions out of the reader as well. One minute in angry at Sarge and then the next I'm feeling sorry for him. Another job well done!

Sarge & Estelle

I expected angsty from this couple. Based on how the other couples in this MC are, I even expected some of the sweetness. I wasn’t really expecting the BDSM and the Dom/Sub relationship. And I loved it. I love their relationship. I love the way they love each other’s children. I love their forgiveness. They had a hard story and they survived and made it back to each other. I love a happy ending. ❤️

Love hate

Sarge and Estelle were young lovers when circumstances split them up. Years past and the day comes when they see each other again. Their hate and longing for each other can't be contained.

It's a captivating emotional story. You get emotional lost with these two. Add a baby, a teenager and a MC family. Then throw in some really bad people and you have a great read.

Sarge's truth

Sarge and Estelle are on a rough road to reconciliation. They are at the center of some conniving people trying to tear them apart. When they meet up after many years they're both floored. Now they must fight to discover the truth and renew their love for each other.

This was an awesome read!

Sarge

I loved seeing Sarge pull his head out of his butt and claim the women he keeps calling dibs on. To say I was shocked in the beginning is an understatement, but to see him interact with his son and Hazel brought me to my knees. I'm so happy the truth came out and he and Tells got the happily ever after they both deserved.

Really enjoyed

This was a really good read. Once Sarge pulled his head out of where the sun don’t shine, watching the second change at true love was beautiful. Zeb was a great addition to the story and the club, look forward to him growing up. As always great humour, action scenes and steamy scenes.

Sarge was so good!! I’ve been waiting for his & Estelle’s story for so long and it was so worth the wait. You definitely feel the pain these two have from the shadiness that was pulled on them. But karma is on their side and she cones back with a vengeance!
