This is such a beautiful and compelling story. As a former student I had heard bits and pieces of Señora’s story over the 2 years I had her but to be able to read this and see how Juana and her faith in God shaped her life was amazing. I am not an easy crier when it comes to reading and I think I cried 3 times while reading this. What a beautiful testament to her faith and her family. Gracias por la oportunidad de leer esta precioso historia (sorry if I translated that wrong, it’s been a while since I’ve used Spanish)

This story was so sweet and heartwarming and a wonderful reminder in God’s love for everyone. Learning the life story from a teacher at my high school through her own book felt special, even though I never had her. I still remember her as always being positive and friendly in the halls.

This woman was my Spanish Teacher. I’d heard this story in her classrooms. She always taught us girls how beautiful and how hard life as a woman is. This book made me cry because her goal in education was achieved in me.

Fun, quick read. I enjoyed being transported back in time to relive some high school memories with my former classmate. There were so many things going on in her life I didn’t know about and I enjoyed reading her story.
