Harrison Briggs has no idea just how his life is about to change when a beautiful stranger falls into his arms while he’s strolling through his late grandfather’s apple orchard.
I really wanted to like Falling for You but, this book just didn't do it for me. It was very vanilla and, when I say vanilla, I mean white. This book read like it was written by a white author. Other than Birthday Sex and Midnight Stroke, a lot of Té Russ' books tend to read that way. Every few chapters, Harrison would say something to remind you he's black but, other than that, there was very little blackness in this book. I was pretty bored reading it. In the beginning, I didn't feel any chemistry at all between Fallon and Harrison but, it finally picked up towards the end. Falling for You is going to be my least favorite Té Russ book.
I am a sucker for sappy love stories. That's why I chose this book. The synopsis sounded very "sappy and boy meets girl and they fall in love and leave happily ever after". But most of the book focused a lot on the farm instead of Harrison and Fallon. Besides their little run-in in the beginning, It seems like there were no chemistry between them. I expected romance but all I got was apples, ciders and farm talk. I skimmed through a lot of it. But it was a HEA. I just wanted more of Fallon and Harrison.
I downloaded this book from the Brae event and I read other book by this author. I really enjoyed this book and it was a perfect book for the fall. I really enjoyed this book and I will read other books by this author.
Fallon fell for her boss's grandson when he came for his g-father's funeral. She met his grandfather under extenuating circumstances that would prove to be part of the appeal. The story was cute and sensual altogether. It was also an enjoyable read.
I love me a good Te' Russ story, and this one is no exception. Harrison and Fallon were a pleasure to read about. I especially loved the different relationships they both had with Harrison's late grandfather, Mitchell, and my heart went out to both of them. Ms. Russ really knows how to capture romance and emotion and pack in as much as she can in a story without it being too much. And that is exactly how I would describe this story--"just right." A "just right" cute-meet, "just right" spark and chemistry, "just right" backstory, "just right" get-to-know each other and falling in love, a "just right" conflict with the skank (LOL), and a "just right" happily ever after. And now that it's over, I have an overwhelming desire to try some of our heroine's variety of apple concoctions! They all sound like they might taste refreshing and delicious!😋😂
Impactful, purposeful, determined and fulfilled promises. Mitchell's loss brought forth new beginnings not just in business but love for Fallon and Harrison.
Go on the journey of Fallon and Harrison, where you get to see how family connection and love brings forth fruit. In this story you smile at the simplicity of the back drop being an apple 🍎 orchard. But you realize that it is more to it and the community in which it serves.
Where's the nearest orchard because I'm trying to fall in love too! This was a sweet story. I love that Fallon was out in the orchard getting dirty and running things and Harrison wasn't intimidated by that. There was the right amount of conflict and it didnt last the whole book. It had an epilogue, which I am a sucker for. Great story and I will definitely be reading again.
Harrison AKA Apple Bae was everything Fallon needed. I loved both of their back stories and how the death of his grandfather helped to put things in perspective for both of them. I enjoyed the progression of them falling for each other without any drama standing in the way. This was a great one and makes me want to visit an apple orchard once Covid makes it a possibility
This was such a sweet romance. It didn’t inundate us with extensive backstories. The characters were well written. They seemed real and the storyline was something that could actually happen in real life. There wasn’t some outrageous and overly dramatic things happening in the book - nothing unbelievably overtop. The way that their relationship builds throughout the book was so cute.
It was unfortunate the circumstances that Harrison and Fallon meet, but it felt destined. Almost like Mitchell was planting a seed to get these two together. They were really sweet together. Made me want to take a trip to the country to experience a bit of that wonder of the orchard. Good job! 👍👍👍
Harrison and Fallon were definitely made for each other and although a tragic event brought them together initially that love kept them together. I truly enjoyed the love they found and developed into their forever love. It seems what was destined finally came to the forefront a sweet and beautiful love story! Beautiful characters Ms. Russ
So this was surprisingly tame and vanilla for me. It was a nice story; just not a whole lot going on. I only marginally felt the connection between Harrison and Fallon, and Lindsay almost seemed forced in as conflict, as she had nothing to do with anything. So not bad... just not my favorite from this author.
Harrison doesn't know what to expect when he arrives at his grandfather's orchard but what he finds captivates him at first glance. Fallon has her guard up with Harrison but he is determined to break the wall down and show her how he feels
Harrison and Fallon are such a lovely couple. This feel good fall book is the perfect quick, love at first fall. I truly enjoyed reading this book. Great job once again by an amazing writer.
Loved it! This was so good I loved the chemistry between #AppleBae and Fallon. This book had all the perfect fall elements that had me wanting to move to a farm lol. I’m definitely gonna reread this one again. Enjoyed it.
This author never disappoints. I loved this sweet romance, with family relationships and sexy Harrison. Harrison and Fallon are perfect for each other. The relationship is so refreshing. Grab your favorite beverage and enjoy the love.
Mitchell Briggs knew what he was doing when he left his farm to Harrison and Fallon. I love how they met. Fallon showed Harrison how wonderful it was to stay and help run the farm. It was also good watching them to fall in love with each other. Very good book.
I like how the two met, it was pretty funny about her hand. I enjoyed the story and the setting of the farm. They made a great couple and glad Lindsey got hers.
This was a very sweet love story. Fallon and Harrison gave falling in love new meaning when she fell out of the tree into his arms. Te'Russ hit it out of the park or out of the orchard with this story. Smash hit with Fallon and Harrison.
I absolutely love Fallon and Harrison journey to love. The best recipe to love is friendship! Grandfather gave Harrison a wonderful gift when he departed... his destiny and a new beginning! Thanks for penning Fallon and Harrison journey to HEA!
Now it takes a great writer to have me want to throw hands at a fictional character. But here I am. That Lindsay. Like, can we just edit her out...? Le sigh...Guess not. Outside of her, loved the story development. These are the things that make Té one of my top 15.
This was a beautiful story about apples and the start of a friendship blooming into a steaming romance. I enjoyed Harrison coming into town to learn about the farm. He supported Fallon in her love on the farm. Beautiful love story!
I liked the image of the apples at the beginning of each chapter. The first time Fallon and Harrison met was by far my favorite part of the story. Good story.
