Katee Robert is my go to when it comes to erotica. Her Touch of Taboo series is good and My Dad’s Best Friend is a fabulous addition. I enjoyed the heck out of Blake and Jonas. How they played out their kinky and dirty fantasies. It’s deliciously erotic and smutty. Just like I want it.
It’s a quick read and the emotion and chemistry between the two of them is sizzling and teasing.
I hope Katee Robert continues with this series cause once in awhile I’ll need something dirty and I know she always delivers.

I think this whole series is just people, in a unconventional relationship, having role-playing kinks.
Like, kinda the main theme here.
However, I wish for something else than role plays. I get that it's what made it exhilarating, but after a few scenes, I'm bored. 😅
Plus, the confrontation with the father didn't even happen here. It's practically pure smut-covered in glitter that is lackadaisical taboo-ish plot. Nothing wrong with it if that's what you're into at the moment, but I like a little bit more plot... and an epilogue.

She is sooo good!
In her touch of taboo series, she has taken these ideas of forbidden romances and breathed life into them! It was a very quick read and I enjoyed Blake and Jonas so much! The emotional connect and the chemistry between these two is off the charts! 😍 Nothing is off the table between them but they can have each other only for the weekend because they're stranded in Jonas' house because of the storm outside. But man! They don't fall short of creating a storm inside 👀🙈
I'm really looking to forward to what more she has for us in this series.

The smut was great overall (with stormed/snowed in and clothes sharing tropes!!!) but there were some aspects I wasn't really into. And this has the grumpy/sunshine ship but tbh Blake didn't give me any sunshine vibes. Jonas definitely fit the grumpy type, so that's something.
And I read/finished this in one day! Go me \o/

Kinky. Hot. This trope is very common but Katee Robert makes it steamy and just holy-shit-this-is-sinful-but-I-love-it. The chemistry between the characters are great and the sex scenes are intense. It's not my favorite in the series but it's still good and smutty. I recommend the audiobook because it's more atmospheric and fast paced.

I really loved the first few chapters of this book but it wasn't the same for the remaining chapters. The steam was there but I couldn't connect to the characters. The pace was alright but i just can't seem to feel any emotions between Blake and Jonas 😅so i guess it's why their 'reunion' towards the end felt rather abrupt to me. That being said, those who enjoy daddy kink will LOVE this for sure 😉super hot.
