My god I just finished it on Webtoon’s app and - I’m speechless… it was so incredible with stunning graphics and the characters are all more endearing than each other !!! White blood/Unholy blood is full of action, fight, blood, mystery, vampires [of course], plot twist and a piece of truly love ❤️
Definitely one of my favorites Webtoon, I hope it will be edited soooo that it can join my bookshelf.
I recommend it so much 🙌🤌🏻

WHEW so i've finally finished this gem and I'd say this was such an incredible read that made me feel such a wide range of emotions. i could connect with the characters well and after knowing the back stories of many of them and understanding why they turned out the way they are now i couldn't really hate any of them so ye it was a really amazing story i'd say ♡

This is my favorite graphic novel/comic story of all time and I’m so glad it’s out in paperback. I cannot wait to absolutely devour the rest of this series for a second time—it’s absolute peak storytelling. I would not recommend reading it unless you have a VERY strong stomach for violence, gore, and messed up behavior. However: good vs evil and good wins!!!!!

For a change there's nothing to nag about. Sure I could find a slight niggle here or there but I don't want to spoil the good feeling I got after finishing this webtoon. It had everything you'd expect of an almost vampire apocalypse without being completely predictable. So there is a lot of action, of over the top challenges with the right amount of horror but also sweet and incredibly funny moments and because at its base it's a tale of longing there are also tear-jerking panels, revenge-inducing harm and a shy slow-burn.
It's full color and I liked that the artist also cared about the background, no generic architecture or rushed-over NPCs and all the main characters are K-Pop-Idol-beautiful until the memory of their past trauma rushes in.

Solid start to this series. Great art and scene transitions. Even though this is rated Teen it very much so has the depth to be read and enjoyed by more mature readers. Definitely interested to keep reading and see where the plot goes with the fmc and the detective.

I'd tried read this before on webtoon but never really liked the art style. Its not really my type lol. But I enjoyed the story and hope to continue!

This was insane
The illustration work contains some of the most stunning details and action sequences I've ever seen and I just KNOW this work would translate so flawlessly into an animated format. It's just so gorgeous and uniquely stylized.
In this dystopian reality that has adapted over the course of a decade to the growing population vampires within their society, we follow a young pureblood vampire as she journeys her path of revenge after years of being raised by a vampire-hunting priest. Although we watch her encounter (and violently defeat) many vampiric foes on this mission to eradicate her own species to protect the human race, her biggest concern is the head vampire running everything named God.
The biblical imagery and connection to this action-packed story was everything to me and I fell immediately in love with our protagonist and this story.
I have beef with a few choices made in the opening chapters that seem to only really be confined to the beginning and that's
1. the questionable construction for the backstory of the priest that enters the realm of weird military propaganda (low-key) in it's vague "overseas" war-torn location with brown people and pinning the blame on the murder of a young local boy on that country's "terrorists" despite the priest's military comrades being the one to shoot him down
2. The character design choice with those two random (non-Black) vampire thugs having dreadlocks ? It was weird and distracting
Fingers crossed that decisions in this realm storytelling begin and end here

Hace bastante tiempo quería leer este webtoon y me pregunto porque tarde tanto en comenzarlo!
Acá nos presenta a una protagonista fuerte, que aún tenemos mucho por descubrir, un trasfondo interesante y que al igual que con los protagonistas nos depararán muchos misterios.

4.5 (the whole story; not just this book lol)
I read this on Webtoon and I was obsessed - this was SO good. I absolutely devoured it in 2 days. I loved the artstyle, characters and story overall. Everything felt incredibly real and unique, you really felt connected to all the characters. If you ever want to read a Webtoon novel (physical or not) make it this one.
This how you combine amazing action scenes, sincere romance, humour and artistic scenes all in one story. 🍒
The only reason it isn't a 5/5 is 'cause of some of the action scenes could've been a little better (also story wise) but the art is so incredible I can't rate this any lower.

J'ai littéralement fondu en larmes en relisant ce webtoon qui est aujourd'hui un roman graphique... Ça m'a rappelé tellement de souvenirs de mes années collège où j'ai passé des heures à lire ce webtoon sur mon petit téléphone avec ma meilleure amie qui a très vite partagé ma passion pour la saga White Blood ❤️🩹
Ça a remué tellement de choses en moi, c'était profond !
En bref, j'ai adoré retrouver Hayan et le Père Michael, c'est là que je me rends compte qu'ils m'ont tellement manqués et que cette histoire a pris fin depuis un petit moment déjà car je termine actuellement mon lycée et ça fait bizzard 🥲
Je me rends aussi compte que j'en ai fait du chemin depuis que j'ai terminé un des premiers webtoon que j'ai lu sur l'application ! (Instant nostalgie)
Je suis si heureuse d'avoir pu renouer avec cette univers incroyable qui est si cher à mon cœur et qui possèdera toujours une place particulière dans ma bibliothèque et mon esprit 🫶🏻
Les dessins sont bien évidemment à couper le souffle comme dans mes souvenirs, l'histoire m'a transporter dans le passé le temps de quelques instants et c'était du bonheur à l'état pur !

En este webtoon encontramos el combo perfecto de acción y romance, además de elementos sobrenaturales ya que la protagonista es vampiro.
Tanto la historia como los dibujos son increíbles. ❣️ Te engancha desde los primeros capítulos y la autora consigue crear a los personajes de forma que empaticemos con cada uno de ellos. Profundiza en las historias individuales de cada uno para poder conocerlos más profundamente y así poder entender mejor sus acciones.
Además, ocurren muchos sucesos a lo largo de la historia y hay varios giros en la trama que han hecho que no pudiese dejar de leer.
Este webtoon nos hace experimentar sensaciones como la alegría, la admiración y el amor, pero también la desesperación y la compasión. No tengo palabras para describir lo mucho que me ha gustado. 🥰

This series was amazing. The art? Chef's kiss. The plot? Exciting.

Sérieux, c'est pas long à lire, à peine 40 minutes, mais c'est excellent. L'histoire est rapide, haletante et addictive.

Ce premier tome est fabuleux, les dessins sont vraiment somptueux et l'histoire est très prenante. J'ai hâte de continuer cette saga vampirique et de retrouver Hayan

I really enjoyed the story and characters of this book. It feels like a 90s vampire movie but with a female protagonist (I'm thinking Blade specifically, but heck, The Crow works as a comparison, as do many others). The worldbuilding and vampire lore we're given in this volume is a little cheesy - but in the best way. The setting feels nostalgic and familiar, even if I've never been to South Korea. You've got crime-fighting Catholic priests; scrappy college kids who tackle the mysteries on their own; that one obnoxious punk kid who dies first; rogue detectives with a devil-may-care charm; Russian gangsters whose primary purpose is to be vampire fodder....the gang's all here!
Also, the evil vampires hang out in a nightclub, which is so perfectly on-genre. I love it.
But a graphic novel is more than just its nostalgic framework, so let me quickly say that I enjoyed both the art and story beats - some moments were truly emotional and intense.
My only real complaint with this volume is that the pacing is a bit off. We jump around from timeline to timeline, from place to place, without any indication that we're now in a flashback or across town or whatever. Some kind of simple "5 years ago" or "the past" or "5 days later" or *something* would help the story from feeling so jumpy and sporadic.
Overall, I really enjoyed this volume and am adding #2 to my TBR.

Absolute must-read for fans of supernatural fiction, manga enthusiasts, and anyone who appreciates a well-crafted tale. Lina Im has created a masterpiece that combines gripping storytelling with stunning visuals, leaving readers eagerly anticipating the next installment. This volume marks the beginning of what promises to be an unforgettable series, and I cannot wait to see where the story takes us next.

this manhwa wasn’t corny and was actually amazing at the beginning, but it got hella repetitive and I was like blah blah blah same old same old and also that plot line about the circus dude and his vampire tiger went on for way too long to be coherent

I originally bought it for my boyfriend and I wanted to read it before giving it to him to see if I'd made a mistake. But wow. Incredible first tome, I really enjoyed it. If he doesn't like them, I'll buy them for myself!
Can't wait to find out more. Plus, I saw that there was a touch of romance and I hope it will develop between two characters I already have my eye on.

I didn't expect this to make me as emotional as it did, but the ending was heartbreaking. There are quite a few mysteries I'm eager to solve, along with a potential romance that intrigues me. Definitely looking forward to more.

I absolutely adored this book. I'm very judgmental when it comes to action webtoons, but this was perfect. I wouldn't be able to find a single flaw even if someone held a gun to my head. loved this. Would totally recommend.
