Good introduction to how archaeology is studied, traditionally and in the "future" (aka techniques that we use now), as well as a synopsis of world prehistory. However, the language struck me as bland and it was easy to tune out the beginning (traditional techniques) and ending (future of archaeology). The middle about prehistory was the intriguing part.
