Great read on the dangers of the New Age

It's a remarkable redemptive portrait of how God led her out of these New Age practices. I'm learning, much like the author did how ingrained these practices are in many facets of society and a majority of alternative treatments. I was a born again Christian in my 20s when I became easily influenced to take Yoga at a local recreational center. And over the years, received various massages, reflexology, muscle testing, energy healing, and I got sicker and sicker. Praise God as I'm realizing the serious issues with these modalities. I'm cleaning house at the moment to anything that is detestable. For additional resources look into Be In Health, New Age To Jesus testimonials on Youtube. Steven Bancarz has an excellent testimony. Thank you, Julie for sharing your wisdom. May you and your husband's ministry be blessed!

Ms Mellor’s testimony from atheist to Christianity is a good story. However I found the information presented regarding the New Age judgemental and opinionated. I have also read the book she recommended and relied on and felt it was biased towards Western medicine, lacked in depth research and opinionated. Ms Mellor has no medical experience and she relies on the so called research of Western medical doctors writing about alternative therapies. Be discerning when reading this book.
