USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR BELLA JEWEL DELIVERS THE FINAL BOOK IN HER BRAND NEW MC ROMANCE SERIES!!!
Crazy eyes. You know the ones. The empty, soulless eyes of a person who has nothing left inside. Nothing but a bottomless pit of insanity and desperation. Their eyes lose the sparkle, the very thing that makes them who they are. In their place, you’ll find nothing more than bitterness. I have those eyes. That same broken soul. The only problem is, I can’t escape it. I died. At least, that’s what they thought. I changed my life. I started anew. But she found me. Now the lies I’ve kept wound deeply in my chest, are unravelling. The truth has been set free. The person they thought I was…is no longer. The person she thought I was…has disappeared. Time is running out for me to get her back. The clock is nearing its end. I thought I had to fight before. Now, I’m about to learn the true meaning of fight. And they’re about to learn the very darkest parts of me. They had better strap in. It’s going to be a wild ride.
Enjoyed this one, but not as much as some of the others. I understand that the heroine went through a great deal of horror, but still... she was a bit too meek for me. I like my heroines a bit more feisty and sassy.
I also didn't like how she went all judgemental when some of Bodhi's past was revealed. They weren't even together at that point and she was upset that he hadn't told her all his darkest innermost didn't share everything right away... Bit dense if you ask me.
3,5 stars from me... I liked it but I wasn't blown away. That's okay though because overall I really enjoyed this series and I hope we will get a new one from this author soon because she really rocks the MC world.
I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for this book. It’s only been a few months but you understand. Bohdi! Bohdi! Bohdi! I got to say I did not connect with the characters as much as I was hoping to. I am kind of upset about that. I was so looking forward to this book and it’s not what I was expecting. I will say it wasn’t predictable. There’s definitely something to say about being catch you off guard. I find it more intriguing. I don’t know if Merleigh was the one that made it hard for me or Bodhi. I will say this. It definitely gave you that physical pit in your stomach when Bodhi was deciding what he should do. I did feel for Merleigh. I just was not a fan of them like I was with the other characters. I found myself dreading reading Bohdis chapters. Let me explain why. The book kept going back-and-forth from present to past. And I usually don’t mind that. That doesn’t mean I enjoy it though. I prefer progression through time or present with flashbacks but that’s just me. I understand how it built the story though. It wasn’t a bad book by any means. I think I was just expecting more seeing as the last book ended with such a dramatic flair. However this was the last book and they did need to wrap it up. Give it a chance. You may think differently. I will say it did not have the sex scenes that most of the other books in the series have had. Of course their characters did not require those so I understand. And that’s not really a requirement for me. It’s just something I noticed. So again try it for yourself. And let’s just say I’m excited to see what Bella Jewel has in store for us next year.
I was really looking forward to this to the last book in this series. I found both of the protagonist so interesting in their books, but they lacked so much in this one. Nothing felt right. It was boring at times and the characters were flat. I didn't feel the connection in regards to the romance and I was left hanging for me. Sadly this was the weakest book in the series and not the best way to end the series. I so wanted to love it, but it just wasn't for me.
This is the final book of the series. If you have been reading along, you know that the previous book ended with a surprise from Bohdi's past. This book launches right after the last one and lets us take a peek at where Bohdi came from and why he is the way he is.
I found myself wanting to cheer for Merleigh through most of the book. She has been through hell and then between Bohdi's indecision and her own scare, she is lucky she didn't crack. Tough lady right there. There is no denying that these two mean a lot to each other. It was hard to watch Bohdi keep breaking her heart until he got his act together.
I though for a last book of a series, it wrapped up pretty well. Carson was the only hanging story that would have been nice to see with an HEA. Not my favorite of the 6 books but still a good read.

After the massive cliffhanger of the previous book, we find out the truth in the prologue. But Merleigh is devastated. Bohdi has kept a lot of secrets all this time. This is the last book in this series. And it's probably the one I enjoyed most. I love both characters. But too many things happen to poor Merleigh. I have read a lot of Bella Jewel's book. If you like this series, read any of her MC Series. Some of them are epic.
This for me was the most interesting book in this series. Maybe because all of the selling off women was done. I love a series that the characters are all present throughout the series but I can't say I like the fact that the same story line took FOREVER to be resolved. Bohdi was so secretive and no one had a clue what he was hiding in his past. Which comes back to bite him on the ass. Merleigh was falling for Bohdi and for his wife to show up causes her to runaway. I did find it a bit strange that someone who had been sold had no thought whatsoever as to what she was getting into when she accepts a ride from a complete stranger. At times Merleigh just accepted what was going on around her and other times she fought for what she wanted. The one thing about this series that was disappointing what issues that were brought up and made to seem important and yet never get any resolution on. What was the deal with Mykel's parents? Why have this series having him hunting for them and mention progress in other books in this series and then nothing. No answers and what was up with introducing a new character to the MC and we get nothing about him. I would rather stuff not be mentioned if we aren't going to get answers.
If you read the last book in this series you know that it ends with Bohdi getting a visit from his past. So this little jewel picks right up where we left off. Bohdi gets a surprise and Merleigh decides to start over somewhere else. Not being able to be around Bohdi without her heart breaking she knows she needs to leave. Y’all these two...... both so damaged. Both needing each other, both not knowing what to do. I love these two together. And Bohdi is every girls dream. I have totally fallen in love with each of these amazing characters and each book in this series. I highly recommend it.
I’ve just finished the final book of the series with tears rolling down my face. I hate that Samson was leaving and he doesn’t get a book of his own. He’s been through so much that he needs his own story HEA love story as well as seeing the trials of having a 17 year old daughter who has been trough so much.
I’ve loved the series. There were a few grammatical errors and mess ups in the book - for instance - when they were having their fire on the beach with everyone - it said Cova and Bohdi got there. Then a few pages later Zariah went to get Cova and she was gone. Things like that happened throughout the whole series but nothing that couldn’t be over looked. Not sure if you have someone read the books before releasing them - if you do they should have been caught. Minor spelling mishaps a missing letter here and there but again easily overlooked. You still get 5 stars because the stories were good and they made me cry.
One review I read said Carson needed his own story and I’d have to agree.
There was so much about this concept that I was sure to love. Sadly, it didn’t quite hit the mark. Brevity was the main culprit, as we didn’t get enough time to build nuanced and emotional depth with so few pages. There were so many plot holes and inconsistencies, too, which led for a really disjointed reading experience. However the most egregious issue (a niche pet peeve for me), is the use of ‘own’ kid/child in reference when talking about biology. Families form many ways and if you raised, loved, cared, protected, etc… a child (from any stage of life) that does not negate their relevance because they are not biologically linked to you. It leaves bitter and disappointed taste in my mouth and I wish more authors would understand how triggering those words can be.
Bohdi and Merleigh endured so much and it was lovely seeing the family they found in the club and each other. I loved the strength they took from their found family but it sadly wasn’t enough to cover for what I stated above.
Bohdi and merleigh have been getting close and she might be in love with him. But trouble is about to come into their lives. That’s when his wife show up with two little boys. This is hurting her to much to stay around so she decides to move away but then trouble still comes around and this time she not going to take it she is going to fight back. You would think thing would get better but they still have to get worse. So enjoy the read and see how much these two have to live through to find their HEA !!
This book was better than i anticipated. I knew Bodhi's sorry would be good, but this was even more! I loved that it kept everyone involved while staying centered on him and Merleigh. It showed how they get individually and as a couple. Learning about Carson was a real surprise. Hopefully there will be more about him in another series. This was a great ending. Another jewel for Bella.
Wow, this book was so anticipated after ending of last book. We finally find out Bohdis past. I couldn't put book down.
I loved Bohdi and Merleigh together, they have to overcome a lot of bumps in road to finally find each other. They really care for each other and have true feelings. I loved it when they finally give in to each other.
Wow! Just wow! Didn’t think it could get any better and she did it again!
Wow! Just wow! Didn’t think it could get any better and she did it again! This is amazing books! Def worth the read! Had me on the edge of my seat the whole time! I def will be reading more of hers! She’s such a great author! Omg! Love love love her! And these books!
I absolutely loved Bohdi’s story. My heart broke for him, but by the end I was so glad he got his HEA. I had been anticipating this story since I first read about Bohdi in the series, and Bella didn’t disappoint at all.
What a brilliant series it's such a shame it has come to an end, Bohdi and Merleigh finally got it together and and finally worked through the horror of their past . I'm glad to.see everyone got their happy endings .😍😍😍
Best book of the year. Merleigh is trying her best to stay strong and just survive. Bohdi’s entire work blew up in his face and now he has to come clean and make things right. The past of both of these characters broke my heart. Excellent writing.
I liked reading this book, wasn't one of my favorites from her, but did like it and it kept my attention. Give it a read, you may enjoy!! My likes and dislikes are not everyone else's.
Last book in the series and wrapped up all the loose ends into a neat little bow. It was ok. Lots of coincidences which was a little disappointing. I quite liked the main characters. And I am glad merleigh got her happy ending.
I like this book but I think it was too much of everything and everyone... It should be one more book but the author said this one is the last one... so sad... Samson should has his own book of this series! Not an extra something (maybe)... in the future
