clan·des·tine /klanˈdestən,ˈklandesˌtīn/ adjective 1. kept secret or done secretively, especially because illicit.
Lucas has a secret in his past. One he’d thought he’d left there. But one phone call and he knows he has to return to the dark fantasy world of Clandestine Inc.
Nathan has a secret in his present. One that haunts him every day. He saw that website on his roommate’s computer. The one with the hot as sin man doing filthy things to another man. He can’t shake it. He can’t shake that he wants it.
Neither man can speak about their forbidden secrets but at Clandestine Inc. actions—tempting, tormenting actions—speak far louder than words.
Faith Ryan is a mother to three, yes three, teenagers. She lives in a small town in Ohio and is a weirdo to the max. She is in love with love of all kinds, especially the dark, dirty, and forbidden. Faith's writing almost always includes an element of the LGBT+, typically in the form of MM romance. If you like your stories a bit unconventional, you're looking in the right place.
Unconventional love stories because love doesn’t discriminate.
This is not your usual romance story, but even with the weird circumstances in which these two discover their love for one another, I really enjoyed this. The characters are very well developed and very likable. I loved that even in a short format the love between the two didn't seem like insta-love. You could feel it develop from attraction to lust to love. Both characters have their own story and then when they come together there is enough steam to keep things interesting. Look forward to reading more from Faith Ryan.
Nathan & Lucas have been friends and roommates for years. While Lucas has been in love with Nathan he keeps it to himself because Nathan is straight and he doesn't want to ruin their friendship.
Because it's only barely a half hour read to say anymore would be considered definite spoilers. Needless to say both MC's are loveable and it was a sweet story. My only wish is that it was longer.
Well done short story. Nathan and Luke appear to be a good match, and while I'd enjoy a longer story about them, I'm not sure I want the angst required after reading this short.
Roommates have a large shift in their relationship when Nathan accidently sees Lucas' computer screen. Nathan can't forget what he sees and he is interested in exploring his new feelings.
