An avid reader with a passion for romances that finally got the chance to write one of her own. The rest is history. Not what anyone thought for someone who has been a nurse and in healthcare management for years.

I sit writing as my two fur babies, my pugs Kujo and Khaos, impatiently wait for me to get done so they can lay on me as their human sofa!

My children are finally considered to be adults, so it's me, the hubby and the dogs.

I'm a iced tea drinking fiend who has insomnia, more ideas than I know what to do with, and a need to write them down.

Not too bad for a girl from rural Ohio in the foothills of Appalachia that grew up in a town of about 4000 people.

This is like a mills n boon version of a biker book

The h, an mc president says shit like 'super' all the time, like super fast and their compound is super secure etc. At one point hes going down on her and exclaims how she tastes 'wonderful'. Seriously how many big tough guys do you know who speak like that much less a biker president?

Secondly I'm all for kick arse h but seriously could Harlow be anymore perfect, its ridiculous: she's a marine sniper, she rides a bike, she's an Arabic interpreter for the marines too cos of course she's bilingual, she has violet eyes, hair down to her bum and an hour glass figure, has naturally long black eyelashes that don't need mascara AND SHE CAN FUCKING COOK N BAKE!

Oh and she can beat anyone throwing knives too!

Oh and she's a virgin! Ffs
...and yes another female author who has no clue where the hymen is located, if you've pushed your way inside you've already passed it cos its at the front of the vagina!!! Seriously you don't get half way in then hit it ffs who taught these women female anatomy?

kill me already.

I give up, it just goes on and on but doesn't get anywhere. Its beyond tame for a biker book. The sex is boring, there's just too much of it and did I mention its boring af?

I keep trying to get through it but I've had enough.

Not a biker book. Not written by anyone who knows anything about bikers or mc culture. Another author jumped on the biker bandwagon. Mediocre, boring and meh

What a shame

3 ⭐⭐⭐ - OK decent reads.
=======================

New author for me.
Book with all elements already known by the reader of stories about MCs.
Brotherhood, threats from rival clubs fighting for territories, club members in danger, violence and danger threatening heroes, club whores causing problems and drama and so on.

She was Bull’s daughter for Christ’s sake! There’s no way he would let a brother tap that and I wasn’t looking for a relationship. Right? So, I guess I should let these thoughts die. But my mind kept thinking those kinds of things.

Demon stared at her and said, “I don’t know how it is here, but in our chapter, whores don’t mouth off to old ladies or our princess. So, I suggest you keep your mouth shut. She’ll hand you your teeth if you keep it up. And you’ll be lucky if that’s all she does.” Just as he finished telling her off, Terror got her attention.

She’ll not tolerate shit from them or them getting up in an old lady’s face. It’s a pet peeve of hers.”

Declan Moran (Terror) is the President of the Dublin Falls Archangels’ Warriors MC. He has never had a desire to settle down with one woman or take an ol’ lady. He’s happy with the way things are and his single status. After meeting the Princess of the Hunter’s Creek branch of the Archangels Warriors MC his thoughts have changed. She may be their princess, but she is far from a girly princess.

Harlow (Harley) is the daughter of Bull, the President of the Hunter’s Creek branch of the Archangels Warriors MC. She’s tall, sexy, strong, and sassy. Harlow was raised by her father and the brothers in the Hunter’s Creek MC, she’s an ex-Marine, and can handle a gun, knife, and herself in a fight. She won’t take any mouth from any of the guys and is not afraid to put them in their place when she sees something she doesn’t like or agree with.

I really enjoyed this story. The characters are great, and the story is full of action, danger, drama, and sexy bikers. The meeting between Harlow and the Dublin Falls Warriors is entertaining and a huge surprise to them. Terror is an Alpha male that has to adjust his thoughts and actions with Harlow if he wants to keep her in his life. He understands that she can take care of herself, but he also wants to protect her and keep her out of danger. When the worst happens to her Terror is beside himself and blames himself for not protecting her. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to reading the next books in the series. Ms. St. James is a new to me author and a fairly new author, and she contacted me to read her books for a review. Thank you for that Ms. St. James, as Terror’s Temptress was a great read and I can only imagine that Savage’s Princess and Steel and Hammer’s Hellcat will be just as entertaining and fun to read as well. If you like your MC to be more along the legal business side, Alpha protectors, and women who melt the hearts of the men that they catch, you will enjoy the Archangels Warriors MC.

I did enjoy this book and it's hot sexy sex scenes that were portrayed by the hero and its heroine. The only criticism I would give this book will be the book cover. I mean when you read the description of the Hero and heroine there is a serious problem! Besides that small issue, I'll say I'm good.

Overall rating:
4* ~ A Good Read

"In all fairness, this type of book just isn't my thing anymore," I realize and say to myself as I end up skipping over the next 30 pages or so to read (disappointingly) the last 4-5.

I'm breaking away from the usual format that I've been using for a few years (that I borrowed and adapted by awesome amazon reviewer, DeeArr1- amazing person & friend, btw), to just speak on why I didn't care for this book... at all.

But first... a quick story... I LOVED the late Bertrice Small. I own ALL of her books. (She) wrote romance novels (mostly historical, but she did also have a fantasy series "Hetar"). In her books, there were kidnappings, r*pes, attempted r*pes, and on the 'non-trigger-side'- REALLY EXPLICIT sex scenes. But there was also a well-laid plot behind almost every book of the 50+ she wrote. The exception being "Bedazzled". THAT BOOK, while yes, plot-full, was also SO FULL of sex scenes that I was skipping pages and pages and pages because I was like, "Oh, they're doing it again?" and then... read some more and then they're at it again? and again? and again? and "DUDE, do they EVER STOP?" Don't get me wrong- I am FAR FROM A PRUDE, very much the opposite, but if I wanted THAT MUCH SEX in a book, I'd get a 20/30 page (or less) Smut novella & get my rocks off that way. I do NOT NEED 6-7 pages of sex scenes with 6-7 pages of "plot" in between another 6-7 pages of explicit sex, again. Seriously.

Also, I AM SO SICK of the "perfect girl" with the "perfect" body that can beat ANY GUY at anything who is also (conveniently) a f***ing virgin turned SUPER FREAK once the "perfect guy" with the "perfect" body (who NEVER in the whole book hits the gym, btw)- deflowers her/claims her. I'm just over this trope.

3 out of 5 stars because I'm nice and can appreciate the fact that the author was able to write a "full-length" story- no matter how very (dirty)cookie cutter and too full of sex and not enough plot it might have been.

*I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I liked everything about the Archangel’s Warriors MC. This is the first time reading a book by Ciara St. James, and it won't be my last. I am now a fan. Terror and Harlow went on an exciting, thrilling, and seductively sensual ride. They had a beautiful intensity between them, they were absolutely perfect for one another. I enjoyed taking this journey with them. Cannot wait to read the next book.

3.5 stars.
This started out with a bang, and then kind of fizzled out at the end for me.
I loved Harlow’s badass vibes at the beginning and I was looking forward to her kicking ass throughout the book, but she seemed to kind of switch to a different person somewhere after she got with Terror.
She had a bike at the beginning that she never mentioned again after. She was a complete badass in the ring with her friends but then didn’t really do all that well in real life danger…it was just weird. I could tell the author really just wanted to make it so that Terror could rescue her and move the plot in the way she wanted, but I really think she underestimated Harlow.
Plus there was a lot of weird word choices that seemed too formal and some grammatical mistakes throughout the book. Nothing too offensive but it did make me think about it while reading, which I hate.

🤷🏻‍♀️ It was still a pretty good book.
But it ended up being kind of shallow, no deep conversations really, and I didn’t like how the plot went as much as I thought I would.

Declan (Terror) Moran is the President of the Dublin Falls Archangels Warriors MC, they run a clean business and have no interest in going into the seedier side their rival club wants them too. They call on a branch of their club led by President Bull, but what Terror does not expect is for his daughter Harlow (Harley) to have a hand in the meeting. Harley is a woman who can hold her own in more ways then one and having been raised in a MC she has no interest in being talked down too or becoming an Ol' Lady. Terror though realizes she is going to his and now he needs to convince Harley she is needed to be right by his side. Danger lurks though and together they will be a force to be reckoned with.

If you are looking for new MC series to try out, this is the one to pick up. I thought the introduction between Terror and Harley was fantastic. The chemistry is off the charts from the very beginning. Definitely going to keep my eye out for the next book, terrific read.

10/11/2020 Excerpt from Terror's Temptress

I felt the anger burning through my body. Goddamn sexist Neanderthal! What century did he think we’re living in? Same damn shit I had to listen to in the Corps from most of the guys. I noticed not one of those assholes had even bothered to thank me for covering their asses tonight. I was just so tired of this kind of shit. I’d been home for three months and felt lost. Even though I loved the club, it didn’t feel like I fit into it. When I was younger, I’d always felt I had a place and I was comfortable with it. Now, I just felt out of synch.

When I mustered out of the Corps, I thought I’d be able to just step into my old life with a few adjustments. But being back at the club, I felt I had no true place or purpose. Yes, I was the princess for the Hunter’s Creek chapter, since my father was its president and a founding member. But all that got me was a bunch of smothering, alpha males trying to babysit me. I hadn’t needed a babysitter since I was ten years old. Before going to the Marines, I’d been used to my father not allowing me to go anywhere without at least a prospect following me. I’d understood the need to watch over their families. I even understood it now, especially with this Bastard thing going on. But the other women and children were the ones who needed that protection. I was more than able to take care of myself and he kept doing the same thing to me. I’d survived in the Marines without a babysitter. Though to be honest, if he had been able to get away with sending one with me, he most likely would’ve.

Overprotective was my dad to a T. He hadn’t wanted me to go into the service, but it was his fault I did. Him and the guys had sparked that desire in me when I was just a kid. My mom died when I was five, so I had been raised by a bunch of men. They sure didn’t do tea parties, play with dolls or do dress up. They had treated me like a boy, and that consisted of shooting, self-defense training and knife handling to name a few, and it had thrilled me. Also, I saw how patriotic they were and wanted to serve like so many of them had. In the end, he hadn’t been able to talk me out of it……..

Find out how Harlow (Harley) and Terror go from this first meeting to having a HEA. With bumps, steamy moments, danger, suspense, and some vigilante justice along the way. Terror never wanted forever with any woman, until he meets the feisty daughter of his fellow MC president, Bull. Now, he’ll do everything in his power to win her. But he’ll find he’ll have to fight to keep her from his enemy as well as hers. But they don’t call him Terror for nothing. He’s determined to keep his Temptress for the long ride- life.

I think what made this one so much fun was how Harlow was able to strike dumb Terror and his brothers in the club. From their first meeting when Terror and others learned how Harlow had their back, to how Terror instantly started to forget about other women. Terror did have his work cut out for him to win Harlow over, but he went about it smart.

I liked seeing Harlow settle into the Dublin Falls club, to meet those brothers and for them all to under estimate her. Time and time again she was able to show them that she wasn't your normal biker babe.

I did hate how trouble followed Harlow and despite learning of it, they all weren't able to stop Harlow from getting hurt. I did think the way that the bad guys were taken care of was apt, along with the people that lead the punishment.

I look forward to reading more in this series.

This is my first book by this author and she knocked my socks off. I was just going to read a chapter at bedtime next thing I know it one A.M. and my alarm goes off at five. Love at first sight wasn't something on Terror's plate. He thought love was over ratted until Harlow, a princess in the Hunter's Creek chapter, walked in. Terror has to deal with a lot of obstacles because of this Temptress, but will love prevail over two who doesn't want to find love?

I know, it's the year of the "insta-love, way to many pages of sex scenes that I skip, and someone or someone's getting beat up and murdered" by the end of the book. Not them... nope they do the murdering. Where are the cops?? What cops??

I have been listening and reading other things in between but for OTT brainless fluff.... these'll do.

This is first book of Ciara St. James that I have read. It will not be the last. Harlow is a strong woman raised by her father and brothers of Hunter’s Creek MC. She does not take any crap from any men or women. She has seen a lot since she is an ex-marine and being raised in MC family. She is sassy and sexy and basically knocks Terror (Declan Moran) off his feet after a dangerous mission. Terror is president of Archangel’s Warriors MC in Dublin Falls. Terror has some of his crew at the Hunter’s Creek MC compound due to rival enemy The Bastards for both MC Clubs. After meeting Harlow, Terror must figure out a way to make her his and not die at the hands of Bull. Bull is president of Hunter’s Creek MC and Harlow’s father. Terror learns quick that he will do anything to have Harlow and keep her as his no matter what. Even when he finds out she has an enemy of her own after her from her past that brings more trouble to his club steps. Harlow is a little embarrassed of an incident that happen during her time in field while serving in the Marines. She tries to keep it hidden and a secret until it comes back to haunt her, and she must let the clubs know what happen and someone may decide to come for her. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series how women can bring these big bad bikers to their knees and would die for them.

Firebrand

Terror is President of the MC. While Harley is the Presidents daughter of the National chapter. Harley a total badazz Marine sniper. When these two meet holy smokes Batman what a fire is born. This book has it all action, romance, intrigue, and suprises. I loved this book and can't wait for more. But I want to say it's a well developed characters and story for a first book. I know I'll be one clicking all others books by Ms. St. James.

Hello Terror !!!!!

Good read, first time reading this author first heard of this author was in a reference in another story I read "Remember Me" by E. R. Whyte, Ghost the prm one of the brothers in this story was featured so I decided to check her out and I'm so glad I did. I really enjoyed the read great characters both main and supporting the plot is great hook you from beginning and hold you till the very end awesome, I'm a lover of the MC Biker genre and have read a plenty and this one did not disappoint strong alpha men and the women who captures their heart also let's not leave out the sweet butts or club girls what's a good MC story without them 😇😇. Anyway this is a good read and I'm so glad it's a series because all these characters were great as were the Hunters Creek chapter I would love Bull, Demon, and Cannon story, so again this is a very good read so on to Savage story.

Terror's Temptress

I was asked if I would be willing to review this book for a newer author. I was glad that I took the chance on her. This book has so much to offer. Love, family, mystery, suspense and a whole lot of smoking hot scenes. Harlow never pictured herself with a biker. Growing up in a club, she knew their ways. Until she meet Declan. These two were made for each other. I really enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading the next in this series.

Ciara St James is a brand new author. I was drawn to her first book because of the unique cover and its MC, my absolute fav. Harlow, the female lead is the type of woman that I don't see a ton of in MC romances. She is a former Marine, a sniper in fact. She was in combat and has no problem taking care of herself. She grew up in the Hunter's Creek chapter and came back there after leaving the service. When she meets Terror, president of the Dublin Falls' chapter, he is shocked at the attraction he feels. This is a typical scenario in MC but where it surprised me was Harlow's reaction. She was attracted to him and that was a first for her. But she didn't want to act on it and she didn't see any reason to change her mind. He had to work for her, show her he meant everything he said. I will say, Harlow is a little too perfect in how she is good at everything but it isn't unrealistic. She is strong and capable and shows it. Terror likes to be in control, it makes him a good President. But he acknowledges and supports Harlow's abilities. I loved that! This was a great start to the series and I can't wait to see what Ms St James cooks up next!

Terror’s Temptress catches your imagination right from the start. I could not put it down to save my life. It has a smoking hot leading lady, (Harlow / Harley), that does not take crap off of anyone, especially the alpha male, (Terror), who has declared her his. The action scenes are exciting, and the intimacy scenes will get you hot, and if they do not, then you need to see a doctor about it.
Of course, this a romance book is where the guy chases the girl, which for whatever reason she has a past that catches up to her. The alpha male is going to protect her, but in this case, she is more than capable of protecting herself. Still, the bad guy gets the upper hand and needs to be taken care of. It is going to take Harley, Terror, and the rest of the alpha males in the MC to save Harley and take care of the bad guy, permanently!
Ciara St. James’ first writing is hit on my score card, and I cannot wait to read the rest of the series! I have the next two books, plus I am waiting for book four to come out too. I have no doubt after just reading the first book, the rest of the series will be exciting, passionate, and thrilling to read! Her plot line in this book reads easily and you get to know all the characters, not just the leading two. Ciara brings you into the book making you feel like you are there in the MC, as a member or hopefully an old lady of one of the other hunky muscle-bound alpha males, as everything unfolds along with making you wish you had friends, or as they become, family like them.
Ms. St. James picked a great area of Tennessee to place her imaginary town where the MC is located too. If you have not been to the southeastern part of Tennessee, you are definitely missing out. The scenery is breath taking with all the trees and greenery in the spring, and summer and the fall colors are a gift from God as He is the only One who can create such beauty. The local people are friendly and welcoming too. For those of you who actually ride, it is well worth visiting the area for a ride you will not regret, or ever forget.
Ms. St. James could charge more for this book easily, and after reading it, actually twice now, she could charge more, and I would pay it. So, what are you waiting for after reading my review? Click on the buy button for a book that will absorb your mind and imagination!!!

A badass biker - especially an MC president - should totally have a badass woman and in this book, that’s totally what Terror gets! Harley isn’t a pampered MC princess, she can kick just about anyone’s butt so it’s appropriate that the man she falls for is a tough, OTT alpha. I loved this first Archangel’s Warriors MC book and can’t wait to read the next one.

I loved this introduction to Ciara St, James' MC world! The story opened with a well-plotted, believable sequence between MC rivals, and moved seamlessly into a surprisingly sweet romance between Harlow and Declan, aka Terror. I loved Terror's possessive strength and Harlow's general badassery. Plenty of sexy scenes and action.

I enjoyed this boo from page one. It caught my attention and held it all the way Thur.
Terror and Harley, have a strained beginning, they both are attracted to each other but are trying to ignore it, at least Harley is.
Terror is trying to prepared for a war and protect Harley-at the same time, but he didn’t take into account that she would do what she wanted when she wanted to. This leads to some interesting time between them.
Eventually they figure it out and realize they were fighting their love for each other.
