2.0 ⭐️ At the outset, let me say that I absolutely loved the first two books in this series. They were thrilling, sexy and full of action. This third book bored me. I didn’t find it to be dynamic at all. In this installment, the story centers on Deana, a school teacher, and Ash, the SWAT team’s hostage negotiator. I liked these two as individuals, and maybe as a couple. I can’t say for sure: yes, their sexual escapades were smoking hot, and yes, this story, as a whole, is very sexy. However, there isn’t sufficient information here to get a real feel for the chemistry between Ash and Deana, and beyond.
In addition, I found some of the actions in the book to be questionable, and I didn’t find them to be particularly adventuresome or exciting. Several things really bugged me. For instance, the women in the book often were referred to as girls. Ok, maybe that's a thing. Additionally, I just can’t see a grown-ass black woman giggling, as Deana did often. That just got on my nerves. Further, the book tells us how strong the bond is between the SWAT team members. I found their commitment to and their comradeship toward each other very admirable. BUT, the book hits the reader over the head with this fact in myriad ways, over and over and over ad nauseam. The constant repetitiveness was tedious. Last, there were quite a few editing issues.
Since my dislikes outweigh the elements of the story that I like, I can’t rate this book any higher. I hope the next book fares much better because the first two books were fantastic.

Naughty for teacher
Ashton is SWAT and the DARE officer at the local elementary school. Deanna is a teach at the school. They've been eyeing each other but neither made a move. When a wink and kickball game gone wrong put them in close quarters, things go from zero to sixty in no time. If you've read the prior books you won't be surprised or disappointed by the action in and out of the bedroom. Each book is a stand alone featuring a new couple who all make appearances in the subsequent books. Things continue to heat up between SWAT and the local gang, a continuing storyline in the books.

It Grabbed My attention and focus so strong I could not put it down. A word of advice when you get your copy. Grab a snack, a comfy seat, kick back and relax. You will not be moving until you finish this bad boy here. Remarkable job. Thanks for sharing.

Pretty Good series
I liked this story. Although, Ash got caught a lot (with his pants down so to speak) unaware to be SWAT. And aren't police officers supposed to care arms at all times? Why then did he never have a gun on him????? A little more research for believability would be great in the next one

Dirty Operations: Special Weapons & Tactics 3 by Peyton Banks is amazing! I need to start by saying that I truly enjoy the author’s writing (she is one of my faves) and think that the Special Weapons & Tactics series is one of the best. The series is the perfect combination of hot, alpha male and strong, motivated women. Although this is a series, you don’t have to read all/in order but if you have KU they are all available and honestly, worth the one-click price.
In book three of the series, we meet Officer Ashton Fraser. He is the DARE officer at a local elementary school (adorable!) as well as a member of Mac & Declan’s SWAT team (from books 1 & 2). Ash has a huge crush on the 5th grade teacher, Deanna Dawson. Deanna is reserved and when her friend suggested that she let Ash know that she is interested in him, she has a slight (inner) moment of panic. However, being that she is interested in Ash, and is frustrated that he hasn’t made a move, she decides to take (subtle) action.
Part of Ash’s visit to the elementary school includes his participation in the 5th grade kickball game at recess. It’s when the students, and Ash, challenge Deanna to join the game (one that she can’t refuse) that the sparks between the two begin to fly. Add in Ash seeing Deanna at a bar with another man and the heat really kicks up!! The two have such a sweet and genuine affection for one another that you cannot help but root for their happily ever after. Ash, generally the funny guy in the series, finds that he is getting very serious, very fast.
I loved that this book showed the friendships formed by the members of the SWAT team. They were so funny and supportive of one another that it truly engages the reader. I laughed out loud when the guys, out at the bar, realized that they had made a huge invite error! The special guest appearances from happy couples Mac & Sarena and Declan & Aspen lead to the depiction of the guys not as just members of the SWAT team but as a family is so super heartwarming.
This book is the type that makes my heart happy and gives me all of the feels! I received an ARC in exchange for a voluntary review of this book via Booksprout. I look forward to the next Peyton Banks release and you will, too!

The sexy SWAT officer has had a little "hot for teacher" thing going on for awhile but doesn't know if she truly returns his feelings, despite their adorable flirting. When a night out with the boys turns into something more, she leaves no doubt!
Deana thinks the DARE officer about hung the moon but she's not sure why he hasn't made a move, especially with all their flirting. She's beginning to think she might need to take matters in her own hands. It's easy to forget how dangerous his other job is because he's so easy going at the school and so great with the kids but someone, or a gang of someones, sets out to remind them that nothing is easy. Will Deana stick it out or will she succumb to the danger.
These two are an adorable couple with great chemistry, cute banter and sweet sexy times. I also loved catching up with the rest of the SWAT team, especially Mac and Declan and their new loves. They're such a tight knit group and I really love their relationships. Can't wait for more from this series!

Officer Ashton Fraser is part the SWAT team in the city of Columbia, as he lived for the danger of taking the bad guys off the street, but he also LOVED going to the inner city schools so he became a DARE officer as well. This is where he came face to face with Deana Dawson, a teacher that he was determined to make his, though it took him forever to make his move. Deana was very attracted to Ashton, but she's a southern girl who won't make the first move, so she kept those thoughts to herself, until finally one night, when she found herself is a bit of a spot, Ashton helped her get out of it, and finally claimed her for himself. Their chemistry was off the charts, though it did take a cool minute for them to set those sheets on fire, as criminals don't have a set 9-5 schedule. Man, this story was great, and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough! I LOVE this series, as Peyton Banks blends romance, sexiness, and the great suspense factor perfectly together the keep me on the edge of my seat. The twists were crazy intense, and I got to drop plenty of f-bombs, while the cast of secondaries, mainly made up Ashton's team, added in a humor factor to keep me laughing. I CANNOT WAIT for more as this series is very addictive, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Ash is one of only three SWAT team members who were not in the military before joining. The team is very tightly bound together with a bunch of very alpha males doing their best to keep things good in Columbia.
A bar fight ends with a familiar foe back on tour the hunt against SWAT- and the team is ready to go to war against them again. An impulsive response from Deana ends with Captain Spooky dialed in and ready to lend resources to the efforts.
Some scary and some super steamy stuff is interspersed with team bonding and gal pal bonding.

The third book in the Special Weapons & Tactics series, and I would recommend reading the previous two books as there is a running story line. When Ash isn't busy with SWAT, he also goes to a school as a DARE officer. He has had his eye on a certain school teacher, Deana, for a bit now, he just isn't sure if she would be receptive to his advances. When a night out with the guys turns into a brawl, all for Deana's honor, Ash gets his answer on if Deana is interested or not. When the gang that the guys thought they shut down comes back and makes their presence known, will Ash change his mind about pursuing a relationship with Deana? Or will Deana make it known that she is in for the long haul?
This was a good addition to this series. This did feel a bit too fast paced for me, I wanted just a tad bit more from Deana and Ash. This was actually low on drama and high on the danger side, with some added nice naughty bits. I give this 4 stars.

I’m a fan of these low key gentle romantic suspense stories from this author’s SWAT series and I’m a little disappointed that I’ve run out of releases in this series. Hopefully, she comes out with Book 4 in this series soon. Dirty Operations features Ash, a career cop and member of the SWAT team who is the DARE officer for southern belle, Deanna’s 5th grade class. The two have been doing the two-step around each other for a year when Ash is finally prompted to pull the finger out. Unfortunately, his actions land him in danger.
These aren’t the most suspenseful romances in history but I like them the way they are. Once again this book returns with a blatant disregard for safe sex so if that’s a hard line for you, you may not like this. But if you’re in the market for a sweet but sexy, easy going, not too tense romantic suspense, this series will be your jam. Can’t wait for book 4.

Absolutely Fantastic
WOW! This is a love song to the most of awesome romances—the excitement and magic of falling in love. This story is told with the main couple, Deanna and Ashton. This story is talking to us readers, which I found refreshingly mysterious and entertaining. Ash and Deanna relationship has the usual types of problems but two are insanely in love. Ash is a member of the SWAT team and WOW their passion in this book is beautiful and there is so much excitement and romance with lots of drama. I'm happy that I enjoyed reading this series. It's intriguing and enjoyable it will keep you turning pages until the end. I enjoy every moment of the couple's journey their's is the kind that I can't put my reader down until I finished the story if you are like myself you will enjoy it because this is definitely a pleasurable experience!!. This is the kind of story that has you cheering for good guys. I wanted more.

Dirty Operations was the 3rd installation to the Special Weapons & Tactics series. Ashton had been crushing on Deana for a while since he was an officer who volunteered at her school. The attraction was mutual but they never played on it until Deana ended on in some trouble while on a not so much a date, date. I really liked the book. I falls along the lines of the other books. Men who are working in a dangerous field, giving their heart to their woman. I feel like my only gripe about this book was I felt it was a little slow moving and then everything just happened a bit quickly in the end. Other than that, I was not disappointed. I really enjoyed the book. I love seeing women of color in the main heroine position, finding love so it can not get any better than that.

The story is definitely fun, sweet, fast and sexy. Fifth grade teacher Deana Dawson and the S.W.A.T member initially meet when he participates in the schools D.A.R.E program. The kids look forward to Officer Ash Fraser's visits and so does Deana, who has harboured a crush on him far almost a year. Alas what's a well brought up Southern lady to do? Throw a sassy wink and a sensual strut his way and see it he takes the hint of course. Ash has definitely noticed Deana but has yet to make his move. On a night out their paths cross and Ash intervenes when Deana's evening takes a definite turn for the worse. Their relationship goes full steam ahead with some hurdles along the way. The two are perfect for each other.

Officer Fraser, a SWAT member and DARE officer has a lustful crush on Deana, the school teacher. What happens when officer fate Frasier comes to a rescue and a bar one night? A lot of fist flying when no one comes to her rescue followed by weak knees from a kiss or three. From there it is a roller coaster ride of love, adventure to catch bad guys, complete state school testing and trying to find a way to see if their feelings are more to something long lasting. No cliff hangers but part of a series. HEA? Definitely.

If you've never read a Peyton Banks book, definitely read this one! Ash is drop dead gorgeous. Deana can bring a man to his knees by her curvy grace. Together, this couple is smoking in all the right ways. Ash is packing hard steel in more ways than one and his eye is set on keeping his girl and himself safe while they build on that thing called Chemistry that has every page aflame with so much heat, you need some water when you read this story! I have to say I have loved reading all the SWAT stories, but this one right here is hands down Caliente!

I love this series and this the third book is just as good if not better than the previous books do yourself a favour read them all

I absolutely love this series! This is book 3 and tells the story of Ashton - a SWAT team member and Deana - a school teacher, who finally act on their long simmering attraction. I loved these two together! They were perfect for each other and like the other books Ashton showed that he would do whatever it took to take care of and protect his woman. The action in this book kept me turning the pages and of course I loved seeing the interactions with the other SWAT team members. I can't wait to see whose story is next! Definitely recommend reading this!

Deana is a school teacher and Ashton is an officer in the SWAT team, he goes to the school's to talk to the children. Ashton was at a school talking to the classroom when he saw Deana, the chemistry between these two are off the charts, he just kept watching her. Ashton was hesitant to ask Deana out because of the job. When you read make sure you have a fan,it is hot and steamy.

Dirty Operations was a fantastic well written, thrilling story. Ash is a SWAT officer who does volunteer work at a local school for their DARE program. Deana is a teacher who has been crushing on Ash. The chemistry between Ash and Deana was off the charts and when they both decide to throw caution to the wind, the passion is justas hot. Dirty Operations was a captivating read with danger, passion, romance, humor, sassy wit, laughter, and love all mixed together. Readers won't want to put this new book in the Special Weapons & Tactics series down.

Favorite Series Ever
It’s 3:05 in the morning I could not stop reading Deana & Ash story was that good, yes I said it. This was thrilling, & funny as well as hot, makes me want a man in SWAT I want a ride or die man, because that’s what he is receiving when it comes to me. I have the kindle app, but trust me I already have purchased some of this series and next week I will get the remaining stories, so I can read them over and over at my leisure. But the next I read them I hope I have a man to read it with, that way when it gets to the good parts, I can really help him to join in.

Ash has had feelings for Deana for sometime but has been slow to act on it due to the nature of his work. As Ash and Deana work together in her school environment- Ash is her class DARE officer the attraction grows. Ash and Deana skirt around a possible date until a night out separately but at the same location leads to Ash rescuing Deana from a blind date gone wrong. Their romance begins but not without the difficulty of Ash's work and some serious choices to be made.

Dirty Operations is the third book in the series Special Weapons and Tactics. The romance between Deana a school teacher and Ash a member of the police force SWAT team was both genuine and sexy. I felt like unlike the previous books this one was full of action but not as much suspense. I found myself questioning a few of Ash's decisions that put him in danger. I am looking forward to the next installment, but this one was just not my favorite.

Deana is a teacher at a school, that just so happens to be where Ash is part of the D.A.R.E. program and comes to talk to the children. The attraction between the two is palpable and their romance genuine. This story had an amazing storyline, the characters were engaging and relatable, there was action, suspense, and lots of sexy chemistry. A wonderful addition to the series and a must read!

This is a quick read and another good addition to the series. Once again there is plenty of action and the SWAT men and the women, who love them, are terrific. My only issue is with Ash. I loved how he was with Deana and the kids at the school being a DARE officer. However, as a SWAT member, he seemed too full of himself. He also let the bad guys get the drop on him too easily for someone so highly tuned to danger he knows about a drive by before it happens.

Good Stuff
When I chose this story it was kinda out of order of the series, but it didn't matter because the writer you up to speed rather quickly. This was not only a action packed story but this story also read like funny, sexy Rom-Com. The main characters Ashton and Deanna were just delightful and fun. This was a well written story with moments of sexiness that burned the pages. There were also some sigh worthy moments.This was just a really fun read and it was good. I so look forward to the other team members getting their stories, especially Myles.

This is a new author and series to me and I am loving it! The characters and storyline are fantastic. Ash and Deana have this chemistry that explodes from the pages but he is hesitant to take it to the next level because of his line of work. That leaves it to Deana to make the first move after a year of skirting around each other but it not quite how Deana plans it. Will Ash make the difficult choices when it comes to his work? I can’t wait for the next installment of this series!

This is the 3rd book in this thrilling series, and is Ashton’s and Deana’s story. Deana is a teacher at a school where Ash, a Swat Officer, comes to talk to the children as part of the D.A.R.E. project. The chemistry between these two is explosive, but Ash is hesitant because of the nature of his job to get involved, but will they be able to deny the sparks between them. This is a beautifully written story which is a perfect addition to this amazing series. I recommend for all readers.

The third book in the series brings Deana and Ashton's story. Sparks fly every time they meet but neither will make the first move. The author does a great job building their relationship and giving them a fiery chemistry. She moves the story fluidly and gives an entertaining story I enjoyed reading.
