I spent my life pretending to be just a normal witch, on the run from the Black Guard. But I’m a seer. My ability is to see the future.
So why don’t I see a way out of this mess?
Bane, the bounty hunter, Ambrose, the alpha shifter, and Christian, the king vampire, and I are trapped together in a dying prison. The warden is determined not just to make sure we never escape, but that we never see the light of day again--and he’s ready to burn down the prison and kill everyone to make sure we never tell anyone about his corrupt dealings.
But with these powerful males by my side, we might just be able to save not just ourselves, but all the supes, in and out of Nightstone.

PNR, RH, Mates, and steamy Book 2 ended in a tense situation, Book 3 picks right back up. Nas our FMC is getting a hold of her power. She has Bane, Ambrose, and Christian by her side as well as all over her when they get time alone 🔥 lucky Nas, I had to remind myself not to be jealous of a book character! Again! Fast pace, lots of heat, and ends in HEA 4.4 stars
Picking up right in the middle of the action, Curses and Convicts holds nothing back from the word "go". I knew I would love this series when I saw the fantastic duo of authors, but I truly didn't know I would like it quite this much. The prison genre feels a bit overdone in recent months, with plots falling dry behind the bars - but this talented partnership revitalizes the trope, bringing life to the RH theme and galvanizing the story in a high-octane fashion.
Not just a witch, Nas, and her mixed trio of powerhouse gents are on a mission too long in the making - save those in Nightstone, and hopefully, those beyond the walls. It's a high ask, but with a Seer, a bounty hunter, vampire king, and an alpha shifter.... well, what CAN'T they accomplish?
A well-done and heated Reverse Harem that ups the ante and keeps it moving.
I have no words for this finale other than it was a knockout ending!! I literally couldnt put it down i was that glued to it that much. Nasima (FMC) and the guys - Bane, Christian and Ambrose have their work cut out for them when things get heated and dangerous at Nightstone prison. Nasima's visions are becoming more frequent and are prophetic. Curses and Convicts was a cracking read and i loved reading it. A great read
This book is the continuation of Nas and her 3 strong completely different men as they attempt to save the lives of the supernatural prisoners that have been stuck in Nightstone for different amounts of time. Will they find a way to work together? Shifters, vampires, and witches? It is worth the time to find out! This book does not disappoint!
This series is really coming together!! I am loving it.
Book three picks right up where book two leaves off, with non stop action still happening. As with most things when you think things are slowing down or going back to normal, something always comes up. Just be prepared to not want to do anything while reading Curses and Convicts because you will need to keep up withAmbrose, Bane, Christian and Nasima.
So keep in mind lots of things happening here. There is relationships forming, reconnecting and lots of angst. Buckle up and enjoy the ride. I would recommend reading the series in order.
This is book three of the Prisoners of Blackstone series and sees Nas (Masima), a witch but also a seer, and her three mates, human bounty hunter Bane, alpha wolf shifter Ambrose and alpha vampire Christian stuck in the worst part of Nightstone Prison for Supernaturals. Their food is tainted to ensure their natural powers are reduced and their magic is being drawn out from them, to feed the elite’s desire for a drug that can give them temporary supernatural powers, called Karma. On their side of the prison, under Christian and Ambrose's control, the vampire and shifter factions have agreed to a sort of peace with the witches. The warden was about to kill them all, but Bane and Nas managed to stop him. Nas had another vision just as Christian, Ambrose and some of their people came out armed to the teeth with whatever they could find, so she sent some to lock up the warden and guard up in some cells. She had to go with Bane according to her vision, before the kill switch could be triggered by the warden somehow, killing all the inmates and any of the Black Guard who hadn’t left yet. Nas tells Ambrose and Christian to get everyone to the open yard, where they will be safe from the kill switch, but not from any attacks from the air. The warden had been eager to keep the secret of the prison’s production of Karma and it’s other secret experiments, and willing to kill all of them to ensure they didn’t tell anyone about what was happening in Nightstone. Most of the supes (supernaturals) in the prison had been forced into the prison on trumped up charges and even without, never to gain their freedom ever again.
Now Nas and her three mates must try to rescue as many of the prisoners as possible on their side, having no way to communicate with the more relaxed side of the prison, whilst also finding a way to turn off the kill switch and avoid any dangerous parts of the prison. Bane used to be one of the Black Guard, before becoming a bounty hunter and Nas was his hardest opponent to catch. When he got her placed in the prison, he also ended up there and they made peace at long last, as he became one of her mates. Now he has to use what knowledge he has of the prison, the guards and the systems, to find a way to keep them safe and discover what secrets are held within. An old computer terminal in the poisoned zone allows them to discover some of the secrets about what was going on, but also about supes everywhere. It is not just the prisoners that were experimented upon, it was the guards as well. The majority died under the experience, but those in charge kept on going. Her visions keep on happening in rapid succession, some of them giving her multiple versions about what might occur next. Most of the visions show danger and more attacks to follow, some with her losing one of more of her mates, which is completely unacceptable. Some of the prisoners are intent in finding a way out of the prison before any helicopters and Black Guards come for them.
There are numerous attacks made on the prisoners, from inside and out, leaving a number of dead and wounded. One injures the only healer they have and so Nas and her mates try to get through the magical doorway, the head witch and healer from the other part of the prison used to come through. What they find on the other side is definitely not a welcome, but instead a clash of two covens of witches, fighting for supremacy. Nas tries to call for peace and any healer they may have, after hearing the woman they came for didn’t make it through the kill switch surge. Bane has been affected by a substance they found near the poison zone and those who tried to escape are dying from the prolonged exposure to the poison. Bane has the idea of speaking to one of his outside contacts if he can, to get some cameras to film what is happening in the prison. Hopefully, if they can show the truth about supes and what has been happening to all those in the prison. If they can reveal the truth, then hopefully they will no longer be in danger and they can all live in peace. They all have a hard battle ahead, but peace is possible if her seer abilities are showing her the correct vision. Lots of massive secrets and new abilities revealed, danger and death all around, but also hope for the future both inside and outside of Nightstone Prison! I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
I read book two and book three back-to-back, which made for a very tensely, exhilarating, nerve wracking night. Book three didn’t miss a beat with dropping you right back in the action with Nasima, Bane, Christian & Ambrose. Everything has hit the fan and it’s going to take all of them working together to save themselves and their packs.
Betrayals abound, new alliances are formed, romances rekindled, inner strength is found and mysteries are solved. There is a lot happening in this story, at times it seems a bit too much and it starts bordering on cartoonish.
We already had the tension with Nasima being with Christian the vampire alpha and Ambrose the wolf alpha, then rekindling with Bane add that to the many twists and turns and it was borderline overload.
What kept it from totally disintegrating into needless angst was how attuned the characters were with each other and how easily and willingly they trusted each other. We were able to focus on them and the chaos became a bit muted thanks to their teamwork.
The ending got a little cheesy…but it was a nice wrap up to the nonstop danger they had all been living with.

Curses and Convicts picks up from the end of book two and pulls you right in to the continuing scene with Bane and Nasima in imminent danger. I loved that the starting chapter did not miss a beat and immediately draws you back into the story. I was glued to the pages until I finished it!
Death, danger, fighting for survival, unraveling Nasima’s visions in quick succession while trying to stay ahead of the Black Guard, keep everyone safe, and finally gain their freedom are the obstacles these Alpha’s and Seer have to face in book three. As soon as one problem is solved and crisis averted Nas and her guys are immediately pulled into the next. It’s a never-ending rush that keeps the story moving at a fast pace from start to finish. I loved how they all worked together to solve the problems, trusting each other without question. It made for seamless transitions from one situation to the next without all the bickering and unnecessary nonsense to stay on task and get the job done.
This book is a whirlwind of twists and turns, action, and a few great surprises along with steamy scenes, laughs, and snarky banter. A great ending to the series.
Book three drops us straight back into the action with Nasima and her mates, Bane, Ambrose, and Christian. Even though it feels like forever ago when I read book two, the way book three starts just dragged me straight back into the story as soon as I read the first page. Once I started I didn't want to put it down and ended up reading it in just one sitting.
I admit I'm sad that the story has concluded as there is so much action for these characters, it's never-ending. When they solve one problem, another one arises and they have to do what they can to solve it. But I think I'm okay with the ending, for me, it was a somewhat plot twist ending, I didn't know how Nasima and her guys were gonna get out of Nightstone but it was definitely an intriguing way to do it.
Overall, it was a great conclusion for a series that has been one hell of a rollercoaster ride from the beginning.
Our heroine and heroes are in a tough fix with no perceptible way out. But perhaps together they can change that. They better, or it will be their last act.
This is book three of the series and the conclusion. I do not recommend starting here.
This is an urban fantasy story with a reverse harem thing. The story is well written and easy to read with a well developed (if rather creepy) setting. The characters are also well done and have definitely had time to come into their own by this book. The plot is fast paced and rapidly builds to the ultimate showdown for our team. Can they triumph? It would be pretty depressing if they didn't, but I will leave it as an exercise for the reader to figure that one out. Overall, a highly enjoyable series and a fitting conclusion.
Highly recommended.

Book Blurb Quote: “I spent my life pretending to be just a normal witch, on the run from the Black Guard. But I’m a seer. My ability is to see the future.
So why don’t I see a way out of this mess?”
Picking up right where the last book left off, Curses and Convicts holds nothing back from the start it is action, action, action! I really have no words for this finale other than WHAT AN ENDING!!
I couldn’t put this book down once I started; I was that glued to the vivid "movie" that played out in my head as I read the book. Nasima (FMC) and the guys - Bane, Christian and Ambrose have their work cut out for them when things get dangerous and heated at Nightstone prison. Will they find a way to work together? Shifters, vampires, and witches?
It is worth the time to find out! This book does not disappoint!
I voluntarily teviewed a copy of "CURSES AND CONVICTS". What an excellent conclusion to this phenominal series it grabs you from start to finish, fill of chaos, danger, action, betrayals, fighting to survive this has it all. Nasima is a seer locked up in prison with Bane a bounty hunter, Ambrose ALPHA shifter, Christian the King Vampire all trapped together the warden is determined they'll never escape to tell all about his corrupt dealings. I definitely recommend to get this amazing epic conclusion will Nasima, Bane, Ambrose & Christian survive the Black Guard free themselves & the others before its late you gave to get this book to see how it all ends it won't disappoint Sooooo addicting well worth the read it's a must have for sure.
What a finale!! Book 3 brought this series to close with a BANG!! Picking right up where book 2 ended with Bane and Nasima's in imminent danger. Death, danger, fighting, for survival, unravel in Nasima's visions in quick succession while she try to keep ahead of the Black Guard, and keep everyone safe, so they can finally gain their freedom. Let me tell you your in for a helluva ride with all the action, betrayal, and of course steamy encounters to keep you hooked from beginning to end. Overall a great ending for this series. I received a free copy via Booksprout and as always my review is totally voluntarily no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are my own.
There were some mix ups with names, also seen in book 2, which made it harder to concentrate on the story. Trying to figure out who the name should belong to so the story makes sense was kind of a mood killer.
Also, the story seems rushed. Like there are a bunch of big ideas and all the little connector bits were left out. I didn't feel like the FMC did enough to earn the blind trust the guys gave her or that the story showed enough of her evolution to make me believe her power was so unmatched.
I try not to be a hardass because I know how hard the authors work but this entire series fell just a little short of being enjoyable because of the hiccups that could've been avoided with a quick reread and a few extra pages.
I didn't like this one as much as the first two. Nas finally grew a backbone and didn't need one of her knight in shining armor to safe her 🍑 yay!! Thank god for small mercies 😒 All throughout the first book I just wanted to smash her head into a wall 🤫 "oh no I have to run, pooor me but hey there's this bounty hunter looking for me let me bang his brains out and run some more " like girl just get to the point🤦🏻♀️ But here we are .. we made it to the end, which could've been better tbh. I enjoyed the banter more than the "plot" It felt like something was missing and too much was going on at once.. The spice was good but I sometimes want a little plot to go along with the 🌽
I'm glad I'm done, but I don't think that I would recommend this series. Maybe if it had been condensed down to a single book, yeah but three books of this story doesn't feel worth it. There's a massive battle between the outside forces while Nasima and the prisoners fight for their lives. So why is there so much sex in this book when their all so close to being killed? Pick your moments guys. This book is written over a very short period of time as they rush to survive the attack on the prison. I prefer a tougher female main character in these kind of books, but I could handle her being a bit more submissive due to her powers. But she's reactive to everything that's going on but she's a seer?
Oh my goodness! This an outstanding series and third book. It has so much action throughout it. It kept me glued to the edge of my seat with anticipation. I couldn’t put it down. I had to know how it finished. The characters are magnificently developed with stunning personalities. They have such fantastic chemistry that is felt throughout every interaction in the story. It is extremely well written and blends so beautifully that it does not feel like two different authors coming together but, one cohesive unit. This is an absolute must read that will not disappoint.

Ultimately, I'm glad this series is over. I'm incredibly disappointed with the quality of the book. The sheer number of typos is ridiculous. The inconsistencies are abundant and frequent. The storyline was so rushed that it was impossible to really get sucked in. The narrative was choppy and stilted. I like some of the characters but most of them came across as cardboard cutouts because the story was so rushed they never got a chance to develop. I still don't think Bane deserved to be forgiven. I like these two authors separately but I doubt I'll ever read a co-write from them again.
OMG a dream team May & Helen. I absolutely love this series of books, the action starts straight away, and the characters are well defined early on and blossom throughout the series, you can feel the tension building between the main characters and each book always leaves you wanting more. The sub plots plus twists and turns keep you surprised and intrigued. Be warned though once you start reading this series you won’t be able to put the books down so be prepared for some binge reading. I just loved Nasima and her 3 men ( Bane being my fav) and the way things turned out – such an epic storey!
This book was the perfect ending to the Prisoners of Nightstone series. Nas and her men pulled out all the stops to stop everyone getting killed. Their teamwork and trust that they managed to keep for Nas and for each other made the difference between death and staying alive. Bane, Ambrose and Christian both put their life on the line in order to save everyone from the Blackguard, showing why they deserve to be considered alpha (yes Bane too). The flow of this last book was perfect from the very opening scene to the Black Guard attacking to the first love scene. I could not put down this book and ended up finishing it from the minute I started reading.
This story starts exactly where the last ended! Nasima is a seer and can see the future but has had trouble doing it. But she and Bane have to find a way to escape the prison and the warden that wants them dead and buried. They and the other prisoners have to fight together but each time the succeed another obstacle happens. There are twists and turns as they work together but will they all escape in time?

Loving this story so much! It starts with potions and punishments and follow up by incantations and inmates. This is the third book so I do recommend reading the first two before reading this one. This book has it all with shifters, vampires and witches. I love how different the guys are and things are heating up on all sides. They are fighting for their way out of Nightstone Prison and it is a thrilling ride as they need to work together to get to their goal. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat.
*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
We pick right back up where book two left off and the action never stops from there. Nas and her guys have to figure things out in time to save pretty much everyone in the prison. They are finally working rather well as a team by this point making for a fantastic story that you won't be able to put down once you get started. This is the ending we have been waiting for. A total must read series! I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
Nasima and her guys are back in book three of the Prisoners of Nighstone series and is the action packed conclusion. Nasima seer, Bane a bounty hunter, Ambrose an alpha shifter, and Christian a vampire king have taken care of the warden, find out interesting information about Nightstone and are determined to reveal the truth. This is an action packed story with strong characters, danger, suspense, twists and turns, and an ending that made this series a great read. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Prisoners of Nightstone exciting conclusion. Watch the changes in the point of view, they can be confusing if you miss them. Book 3 picks up shortly after Books 1 and 2. It's best to read them first so you know what's been happening, who the main players are, and how they got into this situation. Otherwise, it will be pretty confusing. If you've already read them, jump right in and read the surprising conclusion. The action is exciting. intense, and non-stop and the prisoners fight for their lives; but there is plenty of hot, explicit sex to keep things excitingly steamy.
I thoroughly enjoyed this finale to what was an adventurous, funny and quirky paranormal romance read.
The gang is back to stop the Black Guards and Nightstone from killing all the shoes in the prison. From hacking into old computers to secrets doors accessed through "good times" magic 😉 and all the paranormal factions tearing into each other. This book is a crazy ride.
I had a lot of fun reading this book, seriously very enjoyable.
Spoiler!!
Bane as it turns out is just like the one in The Mortal Instruments lol, it did give me a chuckle.
This was an awesome read that once I started there was no putting down, it didnt matter what needed to be done, this book had to be read. It moves along at a pace which makes for a relaxing read. The characters are amazing and you cannot help but fall in love with them and the story will grab you, keeping you interested and turning page until you reach the end. This is a must read book no doubts about that.
Nasima and everyone else is back for another round of fun and adventure. Ok it was not all fun, but it was entertaining to read to see what was going to happen this time ans what twits might show up and how it would all end this time. Will they escape, what about the Warden and everyone else? Just a good book that grabbed my attention from the beginning and kept me reading to the end to see how it would end. Enjoyed the story.
Nasima and her mates know that whatever happens next, life is going to change. The question is will they survive to see the changes?
The Prisoners of Nightstone comes to a thrilling conclusion with Curses and Convicts. The race to gain freedom and survive the hell they call home is at hand, and Nasima’s visions are showing many possible outcomes. Will she make the choices that save the inmates or will they meet their end? You gotta read to find out.
