A supernatural paramedic (c’mon you know that’s a cool job), his demon-hunter wife, a Amazon Interpol agent and ring of shifters smuggling “Unusual” women. Oh yes indeed, these are the makings of a fun tale indeed, and Jamie Davis more than delivers in The Paramedic's Amazon, the latest installment of his fantastic Extreme Medical Services series. Frankly, it’s darn freakin’ impressive to still produce something so imaginative and addictively fun this deep into a series, the 8th book to be precise, but somehow he gets it done. Dean and Jaz, et. al. go through one heck of a wild ride, and we readers are the beneficiaries. Highly recommended.
This is an entertaining paranormal urban fantasy action series. Great cast of characters in an entertaining storyline. Dean is a paramedic. He works in a special paramedic unit that deals with the paranormal community. They are called unusuals. Unbeknownst to Dean until later when he found out. He is actually Half angel. His father is Gabriel the archangel. Dean and his wife and his friends work together to keep the paranormal community in the human community running smoothly living together peacefully and taking care of any that comes along. After averting doomsday not long ago. Once again There is evil running around causing problems. Dean and his friends must find out who is behind it and see if they can stop it. Old enemies new enemies and lots of twists and turns will keep you wondering and guessing as you go. Check it out
This is another excellent read to continue the series. Dean along with his wife, her interpol friend, and many of the same characters come together to stop trafficking of supernatural females. The book is fast paced with many twists and turns that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough, wanting to see what was going to happen next. Jamie is an amazing writer combining his love of the supernatural and his many years of being a paramedic, nurse, and involvement in the health field. I cannot wait to see what he writes next for this series. Laura Dimick
The title pretty much sums up my thoughts on this step in the series. Once you get to the end, it’s obvious that a new book was coming out even if I wasn’t reading this as it was already out. My favorite part of this was our favorite resident lovable vampire and the Amazon. It was also something to see more of the guy that seems to be the Moriarty of this group right now. It will be interesting to see how that shakes out.
This series has been really enjoyable. I like the characters and the unique storyline and the accurate portrayal of medical scenarios. As I finish book 8, though, I'm wondering how many more bottles are even possible considering all the ones that have occurred. And they really need to catch that vamp.
I will continue reading this series. I do recommend this book.
Another great read by Jamie Davis. Dean teams up with new and old friends in this exciting non-stop adventure. I really love how Deans character stays true. Snuggle down, get comfy, and get ready for the next adventure.
I liked the change in this one with a quick trip to Ireland. Changes at Elk City, but everyone still mostly trying to do good. Anger issues though, so you might want to smack an eldara upside the head a time or two.
As always another great continuation in the extreme medical service’s series and continues where the previous ebook left off with a few twists you won’t see coming. Now read the dam thing
I love the series it’s a perfect quick easy read. The story flows it’s fun I love all the characters they’re lovable endearing and it’s a great little adventure that I can read on the way to work we’re on my break.
Dean, Jaz, and their friends can't seem to catch a break. Just when they think things have calmed down, something else happens. This time they will need more help....from old friends and new. An old enemy makes another appearance, causing even more chaos!!
I whitest the book for the most part. There are a few posts, here and there that I personally didn't like but that's life. Overall it is a good story that I want to see what happens next.
Wow Hangbe is awesome, but she’s also human. She’s good but she’s not Superwoman. It stands to reason she knows Jaz. I think Dean was just as amazed when he met her. Tragic story, but the gang were up to it. And what a revelation Gibbie turned out to be. Loved it.
This series has been a wild and exciting read so far. And this one is no less. A little less medical, a little more evil and true romance that blossoms. Very real!
I am so happy to see someone who really deserves happiness get it. There were elements of the book that made me shake my head in disbelief as well as frustration. I love the medical side of the series but it seems to be headed more to the paranormal and relationship sides than the medicine which makes it harder for me to read. It is still an amazing series but sadly a little predictable now which leaves me less focused on the characters.
