The tabloids are hunting us. Our families are turning on us. And now, our most intimate (not to mention embarrassing) moments are about to be aired on TV for the entire world to see…

I didn’t mean for it to happen.

But he’s insanely hot and we were alone in the jungle for two weeks filming a reality show. So, one thing led to another.

Over and over again.

Fear not, because even though Will and I are complete opposites, love will prevail. In fact, I’m busy making room in the royal closet for his hiking boots and backpacks—right next to the crown jewels.

The only hiccup is that our survival reality show is about to air, and the evil producers captured some very – ahem — private moments on film. And those moments are about to turn our world upside down (and make my family hate Will in the process).

Soon, the entire kingdom will be trying to tear us apart. Can we stick together in the face of unrelenting opposition? Or has our love been doomed from the beginning?

Royally Wild is a scandalously funny, sweet ‘n sexy, opposites-attract fairytale romance featuring a super-hot and rugged outdoorsy guy, the princess who loves him, and the biggest scandal to hit the royal world since Charles said he wished he were a tampon.

This was such an out-of-the-blue book for me. I had never heard of the title or the author and if Scribd didn't bring it up in my recs, I would have probably missed out on it.

Princess Arabella is a royal and has lived a life full of grandeur. She also happens to fall in love with Will Banks who is a wildlife-nature enthusiast. They were in a jungle together shooting for a reality tv show where they overcome all odds and decide to start a life together. But, things aren't that easy. They both love each other as much as they love the lives that they have lived so far and the ones they want to continue living together. They want to move forward together, hand-in-hand, but it's anything but easy.

This is book 2 in what I suppose is a trilogy (?). I have not read the first book and I had absolutely no problem picking this up as a standalone. However, I do have plans to get back to book 1 eventually as I really want more!

The chemistry between these two characters is honestly great. I have read so many adult romance contemporaries by now that I often find it challenging to really feel the connection to the romance and or the characters because, after a while, everything feels pretty much the same. However, this was not the case with this book! This book features the opposites-attract trope and it oh boy it does it so well!

Summers has given the characters the kind of personality that refuses to sit down and let you look over them. The arcs are drawn out well and I was really satisfied when we came around the end.

I don't often mind myself tearing up in books very easily but this one came close. In fact, I was teary-eyed quite a few times in some scenes.

The plot is kept fast and swift as there's a lot that happens but at no point does it bring down the characters and or the overall theme that the book wanted to convey. I particularly found myself liking how the conflicts and miscommunications were introduced, the kind of questions it raised about gender, social and economic aspects of a relationship. I enjoyed the resolutions even more!

All in all, I really enjoyed this! The voice actors were really good too! I don't see a reason you should miss out on this! I surely can't wait to read more from the author!

This book continues a series as book 2 of the Crazy Royal Love series, which follows behind Summers’ Crown Jewels and Paradise Bay series. I’d definitely say to read them all in order to get the most from them, and definitely read Royally Crushed before this one.

This story line follows up on Arabella and Will after they’ve filmed the reality survival show and fallen in love in Royally Crushed. Now we see them face bump after bump as the show airs and things come between them. I think it was my least favorite of the whole series. There is so much negativity coming at them. It’s hard to read and watch things fall apart! It’s frustrating to see a couple that we’ve watched come together have trouble and poor communication. And I can’t stand Dylan and her corrupt ways! I needed more good mixed in. And there is a lot of repeated story and dialogue from the previous book as the show they filmed in book 1 is played back on tv in book 2. I’m glad to see Arabella be strong and independent (there are great people talks by Gran and Arabella finding her voice,) but it’s unfortunate to see that desire in her causing her to self sabotage something great in her life. I still enjoyed following all of the characters along in this book. I knew what the plot was going to be, and was ultimately pretty satisfied with the ending, so it was mostly enjoyable. But I wouldn’t have enjoyed this one as a stand alone book. Hoping for more happy parts of the story in the next book.
Not the best in the series, but still giving it 4⭐️ as I love following the story along.

Melanie is a wonderful writer and storyteller!

I loved getting to revisit Arabella and Will in this newest story about their romance. Things are different and complicated once they leave the jungle where they filmed their show and fell in love. I thought the plot was well paced and I liked seeing how they grew both individually and together. I also liked getting to see familiar characters from previous series.

This was a really enjoyable read and I am already looking forward to Melanie's next book.

Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.

I enjoyed reading the book in that it's light and airy. Unfortunately, almost the whole book is a recap of the first one in the series, word for word. The characters watch their previous adventures on TV, and the dialogue is taken directly from the first book. When it finally gets to the end, I had a feeling of deja vu. Their paths cross when they decide.they're meant to be together and each rush to tell the other. Wait. Isn't that exactly what Tesse and Arthur did in the other "Royal" series?

Loved it. I always think that there’s no way that author Melanie Summers will top the previous story & every time she surprises me & proves me wrong. I said that the first book in Will & Arabella’s series was my favourite & it still is but this book is running a neck & neck race for my favourite. Challenges of the heart & mind, misunderstandings & miscommunication are creating havoc in Will & Arabella’s relationship. Their chemistry is still amazing but the challenges start as soon as they return to Avonia where they’re not allowed to live together & with the pre-show interview which shows them that they still have a lot to learn about each other & that Dylan does hold a grudge. Then comes the first show watched with her family & the angst begins. Next comes misunderstandings when what was said off the camera ends up on the show & Arabella’s thoughts turn to Will deceiving her. Will’s determined to provide for Arabella because that’s what husbands do, they don’t live off their wives & as Will travels to exotic destinations to film commercials, Arabella is dealing with the fall out of the show. When the evil deception is discovered by Will all plans go out the window & the level of angst is dialled up as Will & Arabella crumble under the misunderstanding & miscommunication. I loved Princess Dowager Arabella’s quirky, loveable grandmother, she brought a wonderful humour to the story. The grumpy Prince Arthur always made sure to add his two cents as well. Again author Melanie Summers has surprised me with a wonderful continuation to their story. Definitely recommend. Thank you to author Melanie Summers for allowing me to read this book for an honest review.

With chemistry as sparkling & fire between them, the sequel has got so many twists & turns & is full of surprises.
It is now time to air the episodes that they had filmed back in the jungle.
So what better way to watch the first episode if not together?
So Arabella & Will decide to watch it with the Royal family together. And as expected, the scene is wildly hilarious & awkward.
With a pain in the ass brother, a highly intimidating King, a sassy & sarcastic Gran & a supportive sister in law, (who's still trying to lose her pregnancy weight), meeting the girlfriend's family has never been so tough for Will.

Misunderstanding & miscommunication starts to evolve as the first episode is aired. So many hidden details & intimate scenes and secrets are out that threatens to destroy the Royal family but also Arabella & Will's love.
Its turns out that, Dylan, the producer of the show, still holds a grudge against the couple. Cause as you know, a very certain yet satisfying scene from the previous book, had Arabella punching her the face ( as I said highly satisfying).
The misunderstanding & angst begin as things said off camera is aired which comes out as a surprise for both Belle & Will.
Top it all, Will's set out to exotic locations to shoot & prove that he can support them both & not live off his girlfriend/fiance/wife's money, whereas Belle is left behind to face the tabloids & to clear the mess, which divides them further apart.
But with so many hindrances, consequences & miscommunication later, running high on love, they both find their way back to each against all feuds.
This book is as usual charming, hilarious, filled with wit & humor and so very dreamy💜.

I have been very much looking forward to this book, to see how Arabella and Will will forge ahead with their relationship after leaving the wilds and returning to normal life. Or as normal as can presumably be expected when you're dating a princess. (I have never dated a princess; I would not know.) Well, if they thought their time in the jungle was harrowing, that's almost nothing to the backlash they face when the public and their families react to the spin Dylan puts on their relationship, all in the name of ratings. It seemed like such a good idea at the time. This, coupled with the facts that Will's career is taking off and that Arabella may not be as ready to leave royal life behind as Will believes she is, makes for a rather rocky road for our plucky princess and her rugged rebel.

We also get glimpses of the Alpha couple of the parent series, Tessa and Arthur, along with King Winston and Gran as well as Flora and James. Tessa has resumed the seemingly-constant struggle to lose weight to try to compare favorably with a certain well-known Duchess while Arthur, Winston, and Florence (Gran) are checking out Will to make sure he's good enough for Arabella, Only Gran seems to approve.

I was not disappointed with this story at all and I can't wait for the next instalment.

When I started the first book in the series, I was unaware that the characters already had a history in the form of other books by the author. This crucial point escaped me somehow when I was looking at the blurb before picking it up.
It is not a very strong sticking point because all three books in this series focus exclusively on one couple and their issues.
The best part about it The second instalment uses the budding relationship between Will and Arabella and throws all the complications of real life at them. Arabella has to participate in her role of a royal from a fictitious country, and Will has to salvage his career unless he wants to live off of Arabella's family. The biggest issue in this book is the show's airing that was shot while the two were trekking through the jungle and falling for each other. There are a lot of surprises (none of them good) for them.
The concept of a reality show coupled with the severe dignity required from Arabella is drawn out pretty starkly. I felt mighty uncomfortable for her, given the way her one impulsive decision has complicated her already complex life. The icing on the cake is supposed to be her new relationship, but very few people seem to agree that this is a reasonable idea. Even Will's crazy online fans steal the show with their manic commentary. The idea of interspersing the narrative with Newscasters squabbling and online chats does raise the humour level.was the elaboration on the course that the lead couple's life takes during different stages of their 'togetherness'; this felt quite realistic and made this an enjoyable collection.
I received an ARC thanks to NetGalley and the publishers but the review is entirely based on my own reading experience of this and the other books in the trilogy.

Book: Royally Wild by Melanie Summers

Book 132 for the year

Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Time to Read: 2 Days

How Did I Get It? Digital Version via Kindle

Mini Review: Princess Arabella and Will Banks return to Avonia for the release of their reality tv show. The show in which they fell in love. But now that secrets from the show are released can a princess and a rugged outdoorsman make it work.

This is book two in the Crazy Royal Love series. I really enjoyed book one and book two did not disappoint. I loved seeing the characters from the other books and these books always make me laugh out loud. This is such a light fun book that I would definitely recommend but I would read book one first.

I always enjoy books by Melanie Summers. And I should know by now, because I've read quite a few...

Royally Wild follows Princess Arabella and Will Banks as they navigate unfamiliar terrain as a new couple, trying to strike balance between the very different lives each of them lead. It also coincides with the airing of the nature/survivalist show they filmed which of course, brings with it a new set of challenges. I'd really recommend you read Arabella and Will's opening story so you can get the most out of this book.

As with all of Melanie Summers' books, the story is humorous, witty, light and full of quippy dialogue and likeable characters (Gran might just be my favourite). There are a few typos in this book which is unusual for this author but hopefully that will be rectified before this book officially gets released.

Thank you for a fun and entertaining read.

The Title/Cover Draw:
I was approached by the author to read this book for review. I had already read the first one so I was excited to read this as well.
What I liked:
If you haven’t read my review of Royally Crushed, this book is more of the same as what I loved. Arabella and Will back again. There is a lot to love about the characters and how they approach life.
What I didn’t like:
It didn’t feel as fun a setting as the jungle. While the second half of the book does go faster than the first, there were still times when the doubts they had about their relationship were expressed over and over.
The Characters:
Will and Arabella are the type of people you wanna root for. They are quirky and fun. I do really love experiencing things through their eyes.
The Ending:
Cute and ready for BOOK 3!
Reminds me of:
The Royal We, but also Princess Diaries but in the jungle.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Words CANNOT describe how much I love the Avonian world that Melanie has created! It is absolutely one of my favorites, and I reread all of these books annually!

Will and Arabella are some of my favorites, and this book lived up to everyone of my expectations! I was smiling like a fool during this book, my heart strings were pulled, and I just love this couple! Arabella is such a badass, and I love seeing her growth through both these books! And Will -- swoon! I had all the feels for him and how much he loves Arabella! And I loved that we got to see both of their families -- is there any character better than Gran!? I didn't want this book to end! I would read about these two going to the grocery store I love them so much!

Melanie is one of my favorite authors, and I just adore this series, the Paradise Bay series, and the Crown Jewels! This should be at the top of your TBR list!

The second book in Melanie Summers' Crazy Royal Love series was everything I looked forward to. It was fun, gave me lots of smiles and a few chuckles. But as the saying goes "life happens when you're making other plans." It was time for Arabella and Will to leave their idyllic interlude behind and get back to real life. For Will being dropped into the middle of the Congo jungle and surviving by one's wits is a walk in the park compared to trying to become part of the Avonian royal family. The success of their show conspires to keep them apart while navigating their celebrity. The unscrupulous, power hungry show producer seems to go out of their way to cause a divide between Belle and Will. Belle struggles to find her voice and Will is determined to protect her and the royal family no matter the personal or professional cost.

Breezy & fun:
This book is perfect for anyone looking for a lighthearted and fun escape. Personally I found it a bit immature and flippant at times but overall it was an enjoyable diversion from reality. It is book 2 in the series and I'd highly recommend reading them in order.
Things were different for Arabella and Will now that they were back from the jungle and they had to face the pressures of everyday (albeit royal) life. It was fun seeing them make blunders as they learnt the importance of communication and tuning out all unnecessary influences. I enjoyed seeing both Will and Arabella's points of view as well as having some past characters make guest appearances.
Overall this is a light and somewhat crazy book with plenty of wit, snark and tongue-in-cheek comments.

This book is funny and angsty and dramatic and frustrating and made me laugh a lot. I think I have determined that while Arabella is an easy character to love, she’s not always the easiest one to like. She’s got some emotional baggage that she needs to unpack and there were more than a few times I wanted to smack some sense into her for it. And even though I both loved and liked Will, he’s not entirely innocent in all this. Neither one has been in a serious relationship before, so they’ve got a steep learning curve to get over in order to be successful as a couple. Add in a world worth of people who don’t want them to succeed and I’m impressed that they didn’t have even more problems. I loved where this book leaves them, and now I’m both excited and frightened to see what the next one will bring.

This is the sequel of Arabella and Will's story, and I think I enjoyed this one even more than the first one.
It was absolutely fun, lighthearted and heart-clenching at the same time. I felt anxious, relieved, frustrated, giddy, infuriated, and so much more.
I was intrigued to see where Melanie was taking this story, as the first book had a really nice round happy ending. But she did it just great. Delivering the story and struggles perfectly making it so easy-to-read and unputdownable.
I have to say, I connected so much more with the characters in this book, I think we get to know them more in-depth individually. But argh! I was so infuriated with both at different times, but mostly with Arabella. I'm just glad everything turned out well. I mean, of course, is a rom-com, that's why we're here, isn't it?
I'm really looking forward to reading the third book! Can't wait to see where Melanie takes us this time!

This book picks up exactly where the first one finished off. Overall I didn’t enjoy Royally Wild as much as I enjoyed Royally Crushed, but I think that’s just because there was a lot less comedy and quirkiness and a lot more reality checks and just real life content. You get to see how Bella and Will are doing post-filing-honeymoon-stage when the real world has emerged. Melanie did a great job showing a ton of character development and depth, which was great, but in terms of the escapism of a light read, this book wasn’t quite as carefree and hilarious as the first.

I loved the continual development of Arabella. There were so many beautiful scenes showing her growth and strength as a fierce woman! I of course will be continuing with the series and can’t wait to read Royally Tied! 💗

Thanks so much to Melanie Summers, and NetGalley for the gifted copy. 😊

I loved this book but I loved the previous one better. Will and Arabella have great chemistry but I sometimes lost it during this book.
There were some chapters that I didn’t like Arabella at all ( if you read the book, you will know which one I mean) and I find this hard to say because in the first book they were both such sweethearts!

Although there were also a lot of funny moments like when they were all watching the first episode of their show, I felt so bad for the two of them, it was an awkward yet hilarious situation.
Her Gran is awesome and the banter between Dwight and Will: priceless.
And don’t get me started on Dylan, she’s the bad “guy” in this book!

This was a really nice read overall.

My favorite princess is back! "Royally Wild" by Melanie Summers picks up right where we left Arabella and Will. This amazing author has me laughing out loud and staying up all hours of the night when I read her books. If you are looking for a hilarious light hearted ROM-COM book - then look no further. However, if you are new to this author - you need to go and start at the beginning with "Royal Treatment" - or not, I guess if you are someone who doesn't care if the series is read out of order. There aren't any cliffhangers in the books - but they are all equally brilliant, so why not start at the beginning?
Regardless - this author is a must-have to add to your book collection.
Happy Reading...enjoy!

Melanie brings us back into the world of Princess Arabella and Will Banks after their adventure show with Book 2! I enjoyed this book so much and loved catching up with the rest of the Paradise Bay family (Harrison, Libby, Emma, and Pierce). We need to see Emma and Will doing a tv show together btw :) Just like how Tessa struggled to adjust to royal family life, Will struggled too while Arabella is trying figure out how to be a stronger woman. Can't wait for the last book in the series, but sad it will be the end of their story!

Wonderfully funny and crazy

Royally Wild is the second book in the Crazy Royal Love Romantic Comedy series and it is exactly that. Once again Melanie Summers has written a funny and highly entertaining story with charismatic and definitely nutty characters. Be warned that when you pick up one of this author's books you will not be able to put it down until you are finished. So make sure you have the time to settle in and just enjoy, and that you are somewhere you can laugh out loud and not be looked at like you are the crazy one.

A laugh-out-loud novel. The second of the Royal series. Just as good as the first one. Will and Arabella's continued story, as it plays out on reality TV. It was better to read about it, as I feel pain when I watch reality TV, which is why I don't. Unscrupulous TV producer, the 'all in and anything goes' mentality in the interest if the show created some hilarious moments and the whole book is written with intelligent wit. I like this author and have no hesitation in recommending this sequel in her series.

Royally Wild is the second book in the Crazy in Love series, and you definitely need to read in order, this will not be a good standalone read.

The book picks up about a month or so later, and the reality/nature show is finally about to air on TV. Will and Arabella are very much in love but can they survive the show, the fans, the haters, and life in general.

For me, this one made me more frustrated because the situations were just not the happy ones I had hoped for. Maybe a little too heavy on the conflict and less on happy times.

The series feels very Princess Diaries, and those Meg Cabot fans will love this book series.

What's a princess to do when no one takes her seriously and she's tired of everyone asking when she will wed? Get drunk and call up the local tv network to get a spot on the Will Banks adventure series, that's what! Fun story of a young lady (who just happens to be a princess) who steps out of her comfort zone and into the jungle.... and falls in love with her infuriating travel guide and host of the show... with much jungle adventure along the way....while being filmed every step of the way.
First in a very fun series that has mishaps along the way of two people trying to find their crazy royla love story.

I love this book just as much as the first one if not more. It was great catching up with Will and Arabella and also the Royals. This book is full of characters you’ll love and hate. I didn’t want this book to end and am excited to hear there will be another one. Even though it is not necessary to read the other series, I recommend starting with the Crown Jewels series and then the Paradise Bay series to thoroughly enjoy these wonderful characters from this great author, you won’t regret it.

Another charming and breezy romance with the crew from Avonia. This fun (and funny) novel has Will and Arabella, navigating their budding romance out in the real world, after their vacation bubble. Both have to learn how to communicate and compromise after their reality show airs. I especially loved Gran’s words to Arabella and it’s something every woman should know. Bonus is that previous characters have more then a cameo in this book. Looking forward to the third book to see what this couple does next.

I received an arc from the author but all opinions are my own.
