Seraphina, crippled with anxiety, seeks refuge from the world in a quiet city garden. But when a man and his two children appear, her peaceful solitude is interrupted. Sera must dig deep to fulfil a request that’s impossible to refuse, and after a shared magical moment binds her to the strangers, she must summon every ounce of courage she possesses to avoid losing the one thing she’s always craved — human connection.

This is a well written short read with an emotional story line. It's a heartfelt read with Seraphine overcoming her anxiety and helping a little girl. The author brings her story to life with her descriptive and detailed scenes and delivers a wonderful story. I'm looking forward to the next book.

This is a beautiful story about a painfully shy girl meeting two children and their father. The way Libby describes the invisible thread is so moving and delightful. I really loved this story which is the first part of two. I definitely recommend this very short but uplifting story.
A beautiful, heartfelt short story about Seraphina putting aside her social anxiety to help a little girl in need of healing too. I can't wait for the next instalment.
