Fresh off of a difficult and long assignment Fabiano Cuccione jumps into his next mission - infiltrating the Ricci organization to gain information from Albert Ricci’s daughter, Aida. He poses as Steven Cline, her new bodyguard. Fabiano (Steven) has many demons to contend with. He spent five years at his last assignment and it left him a changed man. Aida is suffocating from her father’s dominance and control. The two develop a friendship that turns into a bond and then more….
I wanted to know what flavor she was, even though I could already guarantee it’d be my favorite.
Spy has a little bit of everything. Suspense, rival mafias, power, and codes of honor. It is a contemporary read and has a slow pace. There is a lot of background information in the beginning that doesn’t really go anywhere. Some parts of the story are anticlimactic. I found some of the terms like “spy” to be a bit dated. However, with all fairness I did choose the book titled “Spy.” Melissa Morgan’s writing is good, but I just did not connect with the content. I could feel the effort that she pours into her writing.
Melissa Morgan is new to me and I would read her again.

First of all can I just say that this is my very 1st Mafia Romance novel and I can say with great certainty this won't be my last. It was an absolutely bloody brilliant read. The plot was on point and kept me reading from the very first page to the last, I couldn't put it down. I loved the main character's Fabiano and Adia especially their connection, devotion, and trust in each other as the story evolved. Adia is totally badass more so than Fabiano. I highly recommend this book as a book you must pick up and read. I can't wait to see if there is a next one.

We absolutely loved this book. We were lucky enough to read this as an ARC. It is a mafia romance with a modern day Romeo and Juliet twist. The story keeps you captivated from the beginning. Fabiano/Steven belongs to a mafia family and he has a dark past. He is tasked to go undercover and spy on a rival family. The tension builds between Aida and Steven throughout the book as we work towards whether they can develop a relationship despite their families and backgrounds. There are also threats and stacks of angst and drama to keep you on your toes. This is a must read.

I received this as an ARC for an honest review. I love this book . You can not help but become invested in the story. The romance between Fabiano( Steven) and Aria is amazing. To me they gave of a vibe of Bonnie and Clyde. If I could I would give this book 100/10 stars with 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶.

This book is AMAZING!! It takes you on an emotional ride of Aida and Fabianos love story. There are so many emotions, twists and so much action in this book!! I don't want to give too much away, but just know you should go and read this book! You won't be disappointed!!!

The characters have sparks that are undeniable with hot and steamy chemistry between them. The storyline flowed smoothly and easily throughout the pages.

Fabiano is a mafia hunk! Melissa did an awesome job of bringing out the good side of the Mafia and making them seem like real humans with emotions other than just "wanting to kill". It was a great love story that I enjoyed reading from beginning to end.

I don't read many mafia stories, but loved this one! I can't wait to read more books by this author. She draws you into the story where you feel you are actually part of the book. HIGHLY recommend.

Melissa K. Morgan does a great job building the tension and chemistry in this intoxicating romance novel. It's thrilling reading the story from the hero and heroine's perspectives. Sometimes falling in love can be dangerous, and the author truly illustrates that sentiment as she builds drama and suspense catapulting the reader to an explosive ending.

This is a story that shows how the mafia life effects people in and those around it’s life. Fab and Aida are a perfect match.
