He worked on several films and music videos before he was accepted into the ABC Daytime Writer Development Program. During that time he wrote for the popular ABC daytime drama One Life to Live. Upon moving to New York, he found a position at Marvel Comics, where he remained for six years, working in publicity and PR.
He wrote several critically acclaimed Marvel HAWKEYE series before branching out into creating his own comics and graphic novels, as well as other projects. His first graphic novel, RETURN OF THE DAPPER MEN, won the comic book industry's top award: Best Original Graphic Album. He has since gone on to create hit series such as the space-heist LOST VEGAS and the ongoing top-rated series MIND THE GAP, both published through Image Comics.
McCann earned his BA in Communication Arts, Electronic Media as well as a double minor in English and Theatre from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH.
He currently resides in Los Angeles, where he is represented by Chelsea Reed at CAA and managed by Stan Spry at The Cartel.

3.5 stars. Captain Marvel can use the reality stone to look at different futures or outcomes to her decisions. Pretty trippy ride thru her marvel comics history. Great artwork also.

This is a worthwhile read if you’re a.) trying to follow all of the Infinity Countdown plots, or b.) a huge fan of Captain Marvel. Thankfully I’m both, so I loved this issue! This one has been following a recent trend for Captain Marvel; having her question her actions and doubt herself. Considering the events of Civil War II it’s really no surprise that Carol is having a bit of an emotional crisis like this. However, it is really refreshing to see, as odd as that sounds. They put Carol’s character through a lot during Civil War II, and this is a great way to bring her back to roots. Her self-doubt brings her back to a more human level, and I think that’s something we really needed to see from her right now.

I won’t say which one it is, but you could probably guess if you took the time. I will say that her having the stone allows for an interesting plot in this issue, and gives us an opportunity to see what alternate universe Captain Marvels there are out there.
In short this issue is both fun and solemn, which is a bit of an odd blend I know, but it really works with what has been happening in Carol’s life lately. I’m looking forward to seeing her part in Infinity Wars (both in the movies and in the comics).

I know she is a powerful character and very important in events. For whatever reason I just have not liked this character in comics or movies.
This was a good read in helping me understand all the universes and who is who when it comes to Captain Marvel.

This was Marvel's way to get readers to like Carol and get her to realize her mistakes from the atrocious Civil War II. Ehhh, didn't quite work for me. The art was cool and it needs more Spectrum.

Pretty self explanatory storyline, but if you are not well versed in Danvers history, you won’t get much out of this text.

I really dug this one shot. Definitely feels more like Carol than Civil War II did. Love revisiting her history through this lens of so many what ifs!
