This is the story of Peppermint Silk, a New York band on the verge of making it big. When their lead singer suddenly decamps in favor of another band, they need a new singer, pronto. When Momoko shows up, she’s the answer to their dreams, in every sense of the word.
With a huge gig coming up, and emotions overflowing all over the place, can there be a happy conclusion to their story? How long can Momoko keep her future plans secret from these wonderful guys? And what about Momoko’s crazy ex, who can’t seem to let her go, and begins stalking her all over the city?
All of the guys want Momoko, so who knows whom she’ll choose?
I was born in Japan, raised in central California, and am now lucky enough to live in New York City. I've wanted to write for so long, and decided to celebrate my birthday by finally doing it! Anyone, everyone who wants to, DO IT. Write what you love, what makes you happy, otherwise what's the point? There's nothing like getting a tearful text from an advance copy beta reader asking, "Why?? Why did you do that to her?!" Being a substitute teacher for fifteen years gave me some good ideas for what today's younger readers would enjoy, and I hope you do :o)

I have loved everything Tani Hanes has written, and this book continues that trend. The main female character, Momoko, embodies the best traits of many of Ms Hanes other characters. Since my biggest lament from the UK Crush series was that it wasn't a Reverse Harem story, I was delighted when I found this one was. The characters are distinctive, and while Momoko may remind me of the best of Tink from UK Crush and Sumire from Finding his touch, she is isn't a carbon copy. The Male main Characters, Tommy, Sullivan, Dane, and Jude, are also unique from the male characters in her other books, likeable and believable. While I would have loved more character and relationship development, this book is still deserving of five stars and going into my forever library.
I always try to give new writers a chance. The plot to the book was good. The dialogue threw me off a lot. Everyone seems to say thank u after an orgasm. And its weird because their are more intelligent words used in situations they aren't needed but then there's an election on her tummy. The word tummy in a sex scene is just wrong. It was more realistic with the men. Let's be honest no way in hell in real life do u end up with 4 beefy musician with huge...u know. Book is more realistic on that end. All in all it was a sweet story and. Good start.
I liked that the lead singer was a girl in this rockstar book. Most rockstar stories are about a guy member of the band and the love interest is a girl usually outside of the music world. Which also is great, but it is nice to read something different.
Loved the ex secondary plot and how it ended, but thought some of it was over the top. Some words used were a little juvenile (tummy), but nothing that terrible. Would recommend this book and author.
It was ok. Practically no character development and a rather weak plot considering it was mostly built around Momoko not telling the guys about law school 🙄. I really liked that one scene where they worked together to write that song and there were a couple other cute moments but not enough. I just wanted so much more, it's so refreshing to have a female singer in a music romance but the story and characters weren't fleshed out enough.
Tani Hanes latest gift is a reverse harem. Meet Momoko and the boys from peppermint silk. Read as their career as a band develops along with their love for each other.
Different from my usual reads but I’ll give any of Tani’s books a gander! This was not disappointing, I had mixed feelings in the beginning but honestly, just letting myself read it and not overthink was worth it. Another brilliantly written book by Tani.
This was an unusual story for me but it kept me interested and on edge to find what would happen next. I believe anyone would love this book. Try it. You’ll like it.
